We had coffees that were typical diner coffee and pretty good. We ordered the chorizo burrito, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and the skillets. It was all hot fresh and very good. We hung out for a little bit catching up (they had slowed down and no one was waiting) and they didn't try to rush us and still gave us great service. I will definitely try this place again while in the area!

We came in because it popped up on best catfish in Wise county. The menu online said all you can eat on Fridays. However, I didn't ask, and if it was an option it wasn't offered, so we were served catfish baskets. When I asked for lemon for my catfish, someone went in the back and cut me an entire lemon and brought it to our table, how sweet! The fries were hand cut and salty, and the tator tots were crispy. The fried squash was the best thing on the table! However, the catfish were two tiny filets, and the tartar sauce was almost straight mayo. It was quiet and peaceful for an early Friday night. 3 STARS

The menu reads odd to someone who still uses the oxford coma. That's what I was taught in my public schooling over 25 years ago. The waitress (not even the waitress that took our order) made it a point to come, very rudely, explain how the menu reads and tell me I was wrong. She wouldn't hear my husband or me out about how we read the menu. It came down to nationality and she was the one that brought it up. She made me feel like I didn't know my own first language, that being English. I was just trying to make a suggestion and save some heartache over the issue. It'll be a while before we try this place again. Hopefully, by the next time we try this restaurant, the menu kinks work themselves out and the employees have better attitudes.

It is rare to find a place that balances such professional upkeep with a personal, "home-away-from-home" feel. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a quality experience. The food is great. The plates are small ( which is fine ) but it would have been nice to have a bit of room to cut up my food , and I'd add a second side to anything that's not a sandwich, but even with just one side ( steaks get two ) you don't leave hungry.
