I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bull Malarkey's, and it was a standout experience. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I was thoroughly impressed by how pristine the entire establishment is--everything from the dining area to the restrooms is maintained to an incredibly high standard. Beyond the cleanliness, the atmosphere is warm and exceptionally welcoming. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the owners go out of their way to ensure every guest feels truly taken care of. It is rare to find a place that balances such professional upkeep with a personal, "home-away-from-home" feel. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a quality experience. The food is great. The plates are small ( which is fine ) but it would have been nice to have a bit of room to cut up my food , and I'd add a second side to anything that's not a sandwich, but even with just one side ( steaks get two ) you don't leave hungry. ( extra sides are 4 a piece) The only other suggestion is a basket of homemade bread would be perfect for this establishment . It's a southern food , steaks and gravy type place. We stopped in again! We stopped here last Friday and just had to go back to eat again with the main goal to try that bread pudding with ice cream and it was so worth it! I wasn't very hungry but needed some of those bull beans with sour dough bread. My husband ordered a 8oz filet and those yummy loaded mashed potatoes . I seriously should have taken some beans to go for my dad to try. We love the atmosphere and smiling faces. They were busy and rightfully so! Very quaint spot! Best burger and fries we've ever had. On a road trip and ordered ahead and will go out of our way to make this stop again.

I have never experienced such a warm and welcoming atmosphere the second I walked in. We walked in and had reservations (highly recommend by the way) and she knew my name before I even told her. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The host even checked on us mid meal to make sure everything was good. Everything was absolutely delicious. They definitely take pride in what they do and it shows. This is one of the best steakhouses in Texas that I have been to. Can't wait to go back! read more

The food here was so good I had to take home my leftovers to finish later! The service was friendly and fast! The restaurant decor was whimsical and fun! My husband and I shared the chips and queso, and that was amazing! I had the BLT. Needed a bit more bacon, but it was tasty! My husband had the chicken fried steak and it was excellent! First time there and I was very impressed! The steak (fillet) is one of the best steaks I have ever had! The okra was crispy and also the best! A little disappointed in the wait time for chips and queso. There were only 4 tables occupied and it took about 20 minutes (reason for 4 star rating) to get our chips. We were passing through on our way to Dallas and let me tell you, boy am I glad Apple Maps decided suggest them when we searched for dinner. The atmosphere is awesome. Tons of metal art and taxidermy. Has a real southern feel to it and the food pairs perfectly. I got the Beefy Baloney sandwich and my son got a cheeseburger. Everything was made fresh to order. I very seldom write Yelp reviews.....but this time is an exception. Bull Malarkey's (odd name) is the cutest place with excellent food. We were traveling between Amarillo and Dallas, and I always like to find small, non-chain, 4- or 5-star eateries. I had the steak fingers with cream gravy and tater tots. The fingers were so tender, the coating was crisp, gravy delicious, tots (what can I say about tater tots?). My husband had the Queso Burger with fried okra. He said it was probably the best burger he has ever had. It's out of the way, off the beaten path, on the courthouse square in Henrietta, TX. Decor was lovely, waitress was exceptional, and we spoke to the owner. She was lovely to talk to. Since this place is only 1.5 hours away from our home, this would be a nice little lunch/day trip. My wife and I were heading west from Dallas back to Los Angeles and I had the craving for a steak at 11:30AM. By chance we stumbled upon Bull Malarkey's. We walked into the restaurant and absolutely loved the traditional decor. The waitress was accommodating and incredibly fast throughout our meal. The good kind of fast, we never felt rushed and we never felt thirsty. I had the 16oz ribeye rare and it was the best ribeye I've ever had. Yes, the best ribeye I've ever had. It was seasoned and grilled to perfection. My wife had the filet and half way through she realized she was still using her butter knife. The toast and bull beans were a nice touch, but the hero was the ribeye. The entire establishment was clean and welcoming. The back bar room looked like a fun time! Would 10/10 recommend! read more

I had a 16oz ribeye. It was delicious. It was maybe the most tender steak I've ever had. The corn bites and stuffed jalapeños were OK. Not really worth the price I don't think. I would not get them again. I will say that everything was pretty expensive, so you might keep that in mind. Two ribeyes and two appetizers was $115. read more

Creeping towards 5 stars. I really enjoyed my total experience at Malarky's and that's no malarkey. Covid one nine has brought the restaurant industry to its knees. From what I saw in Bull M's it is weathering this pandemic as well as can be expected. I had to wait a short amount of time. As a solo it was fairly easy to seat me at the bar, which I have never refused the opportunity. The only thing missing was fellow bar mates to chat with - folks with varied experiences. There was just me at the bar and I was asked to sit at one end or the other. Not a problem. I ordered a Shiner draft - one of the great things produced in Texas. I loved the glass. PS Another diner came in and sat at the other end of the bar about half way through my meal. I waved but he didn't see me. The salad came and it was delicious and no iceberg lettuce. I had the house dressing. I use very little dressing as it tends to over power a good salad. I dribbled a little on and it was perfect. Now - the reason one goes to a steak house - steak. The fillet caught my eye so it was ordered medium rare. The fillet came back perfect. A fillet should be close to rare without hearing the cow moo when you cut into it. Seasoned to perfection. I am thinking it was the second best fillet I've eaten. It tried to be number one and came dog gone close. Now - how was I treated? I couldn't ask for better service. It was both friendly and attentive. Everyone in the restaurant was in good spirits - partly due to being in Texas and partly because this was a very fine dining experience. You may not get out this way often, I know I don't. If I do, I'll make a point of dining here again. read more
