This place reeks of smoke. It's the last place in the county you can smoke indoors (that isn't a cigar bar). To take my kid to the restroom, you have to walk through a stale cloud of smoke that makes you feel like it's been there since the 80s... and when you leave, you burn your clothes. There's no saving them. Other than HUGE burgers, this place is a sad shell of what it used to be. All the national ads still apply, but the effort put into the food is minimal at best. You could do better to go to Walmart and get appetizers from the frozen section, and throw them in your airfryer at home... because I'm sure that's what they do here when they run low. First time in Chili's and I can honestly say, it's a dump. Food has a chemical flavor. Service was corporate friendly. Most telling was what horrible shape the men's room was in. Had a raw sewage smell and filthy. This wasn't bathroom stink it was major back up issues that hadn't been addressed. Remember, the filth they show you isn't half as bad as the filth they hide. $74.00 for a couple of beers and 2 salads with wilted lettuce and over cooked frozen salmon. Chili's is owned by Brinker International (NYSE: EAT). A publicly traded company. Clearly, Brinker has sucked the soul out of the restaurant business. Don't order late because apparently they give your food away . Came in , food was ready , had a beer at the bar , then they gave my food away and closed kitchen. (I was told by their manager ) all I got was an apology . Don't know if they heave me a refund yet . SMH bad communication and service. My wife and I stopped in and sat at the bar at this Chili's on 9-15-2023 at 7:11 pm and we left at 9 pm after the bartender seemingly kicked us out. The bartender was dismissive towards us from the first moment we arrived. It took a while but she finally brought my wife her glass of Merlot (served in some goofy water glass, not a wine glass) and it took at least 10 minutes for her to bring me my martini. She even went out to the bar area and took someone's order before bringing me my first drink order. This was how the entire experience was for following almost two hours with her...we ordered chips and salsa and a cheeescake. Cheesecake never came out...trying to get her attention was near impossible for us but EVERYONE around us at the bar was receiving plenty of her attention. She would literally take care of the person sitting right next to us but in a seemingly very deliberate manner, skipped us over and over again. At approximately 8:56 pm, she put the payment machine in front of us and said "here you go".... I said that we weren't leaving yet and we're going to have one more drink to which she replied, "I cannot serve you anymore". My wife and I were celebrating something personal and had already eaten somewhere else and stopped at Chili's for a few drinks. We had not consumed ANY alcohol at dinner or any alcohol at all before coming to Chili's. In an almost two hour period of time, I had three martinis and my wife had two glasses of wine. We were NOT impaired or over served. For some unexplained reason, we got the distinct impression from the minute we sat down that we were not welcome there. My wife wondered that maybe it was because she was wearing a Ponder HS shirt and the often petty Texas sports rivalry was the cause, but who knows. The food and service at Chili's for the past few years has been really subpar. We've experienced 1+ hours of waiting only to get orders wrong for example. It has been over a year since we were here last, but decided to try it one more time. I'm so glad that we did. Chili has vastly improved in both their food quality and more importantly their service. Ordered the 2 for $22 special features which comes with an appetizer and 2 entrees. We tried the 6 oz sirloin steak and the mango chili chicken with fried pickles. The pickles were fresh out and hot had decent flavor however were not evenly breaded and a bit much on some bites as the grease seemed to cling to the batter. The steak was well cooked and had a garlic butter sauce which kept it moist. It was served with broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes. The broccoli was perfect, tender but not over cooked. The potatoes were a bit pasty however even with the toppings. The chicken was moist and topped in mango and avocado. It had a zesty flavor however not to spicy. Sides for this dish were broccoli and rice both of which were served perfect. Overall service was excellent by our waitress. The only negatives of this location are the loudness and our kiosk was not functioning, our waitress was awesome and quickly replaced it however. read more

I've had some bad steaks in my life, but his one takes the cake. It was a ribeye and literally tasted like salted leather. My jaw is sore from the chewing. It looked and tasted like it had been thawed in the microwave then seared on the grill. Saw the 'grey' around the edges and the ribeye fat was chewy and gritty. Completely dissatisfied with management and their customer service. I ate there yesterday, we ordered 2, 3 for 10 deals. One order was great, mine however was disappointing. After explaining my disappointment to the manager, he smirkeshly offered to assist. I will admit, I declined his offer based on how he responded to me and his general attitude....I still let it go. Today, however, I see my receipt and got even more frustrated. He / they decided to charge me "per item" instead of he price of the 3 for 10 meal would have cost. ... I quit going here several years ago due to poor food and service. Went tonight because it was pretty much the only place open that wasn't fast food, and I had a guest with me. Pretty much got what I expected, a dirty restaurant, inattentive service and really poor quality food. They actually served my entree on old brown lettuce. The food was substandard and getting a drink refill just wasn't going to happen, and it didn't. I guess they're conserving their iced tea. Maybe training the waitstaff better might be a good place to start on improvement? I'm pretty surprised this particular chilis is still even open. Terribly frustrating. Ordered curbside pick up. Big mistake not opening and inspecting all items ...especially since we live over 20'mins away....receipt was accurate. Missing salad, missing side order of fries, missing sauce for shrimp tacos specifically requested (same as when we order in) and what was supposed to be a bowl of potato soup was a small container less than half full...4 bites and gone. These are the same items that we order when eating inside and willing to pay for any extras we request....even gave a solid tip when placing the order. I would just like to say if you have to choose between starving or going to the Chili's in Decatur choose to starve. My friends & I just got kicked out because they didn't believe that I was 21 after showing my ID & knowing all of the proper information on it (my address, height, bday). FUCK THIS PLACE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Also let me add that I AM 21! I turned 21 on May 7th & my ID is legit! I was also served a drink when I first sat down (gave my ID & got the drink) & noticed that a bunch of girls kept staring at me from the back. The manager eventually walked over & demanded all of our ID's once again. She took them into the back for probably 15 minutes and at this point I was very angry because I just wanted my food & my ID back (I hadn't eaten anything all day & had been craving Chilis), so I flagged down a waiter & asked him to go into the back & tell them that she needed to bring me my ID back as well as my bill for my 1 drink because I was not going to be eating or paying for the food that I ordered due to how poorly I was being treated. The manager came over & gave all of my friend's their IDs back but kept mine & began asking me questions (what's my address, height etc.). After answering correctly she gave my ID back & I asked for my bill & was then told to leave. Why would they ask for my ID, serve me a drink, & then come back & try to accuse me of being under 21 AFTER they already served the drink?? So we decided to wait, and wait, and wait. Finally checked on our table.
