This place is another great addition to downtown Bridgeport. Inside there isn't a ton of space, the bar fits a good amount of people and there is two other tables for groups. There is space outside that I hope they will use once the weather warms up. The interior is very trendy and fitting for the place. The service is amazing, we sat at the bar and our bartender was more than happy to help us pick our drinks and it is very fun to watch them make the drinks. He was happy to tell us what he was making for others when we asked, he even offered us a taste of what he had leftover from on of the drinks. Their signature cocktails are very complex and exciting. I ordered the fire and spice which was delicious and perfect for a photo op, they light it on fire. We also tried some other drinks, everything we had was amazing. This place is awesome and holds up against the cocktail spots I've been to in my hometown of LA. This place is a fun addition to the town.

The service at Locality Craft Cocktail Bar is excellent, and the drinks and atmosphere are even better!!!

The menu. The lavender bubble bath comes in a ceramic tub with a tiny rubber duck. Delicious!

Locality has great alcoholic drinks. Unique mixes with herbs infused but taste delicious and refreshing. The customer service may be slow but many times they're understaffed. Friendly service. A bit pricey but tasty drinks.

Old fashion

Overall really solid place! Good vibe, surprised it's in Bridgeport. Crowd was good. Only downfall was the espresso martini, not really great. The old fashion was phenomenal though

Fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious. Craft cocktails made the right way with fresh quality ingredients and a knowledge staff make this gem feel like you are in one of the fancier bars of the big city- yet with small town prices and parking right outside the door. Will be back many times!

Atmosphere: 10/10, (music is usually a bit louder than I would like for a cocktail bar) I've gone to this bar a lot since it opened, it's a bit pricey, but it is a cocktail bar. Matt behind the bar knows his stuff, as well as the other cocktail makers. It's always very clean in there, and it can be a bit loud with how loud they play the music lol My favorite drink there is the, "Cousin Eddie," along with the, "Nuts N' Berries.

Mixologists

This is the place you are looking for, if you want quality over quantity. Staff that treats you like you are a regular and likes to talk about Mixology. Ask for a Jason's gintastic adventure

Super great vibe! Drinks are very high quality. Fresh ingredients. A bit high dollar for a small town but definitely worth the money!

Second floor is the event center. Third is the cigar lounge which is highly lit, Smokey and super sexy. Jack nickleson included! The basement is the speakeasy. That's where the loud music, (and less comfortable chairs than above imo) is. But hey! You went to a speakeasy and had a good time!

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

The music selection and volume were equally well done, balanced in a way that felt welcoming to every generation. At one point, I almost felt like I had stepped into the bar scene from *The Shining*, not in a creepy sense, but in that nostalgic, timeless atmosphere kind of way. The Old Fashioned was prepared exactly right, especially with my request for lighter bitters since I do not enjoy it overly sweet. Many places miss that balance, but they nailed it here. The charcuterie board was easily one of the best I have had. The mozzarella and white cheddar were perfectly portioned, fresh, and rich. The green apple slices tasted incredibly fresh, like they had just been picked from the orchards of Apple Hill in California. The honeycomb was a first for me on a board and made the experience especially memorable. The artwork throughout the space also adds a unique character that I always appreciate in a restaurant. The prosciutto was a little tough but still had good flavor, while the Calabrese was spot on. Service was professional and attentive, with frequent check-ins throughout the evening. My only recommendation would be for servers to introduce themselves, as that small touch makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming rather than simply transactional.

So let me start right off by saying that lakeside grills like The Anchor are in their own category…read moreand I don't directly compare them to more landlocked establishments. You come here for a specific vibe and that vibe does not conform to typical restaurant standards. So do with that information, what you may. The ambiance is probably the best of any lakeside establishment I have been to so far, garage doors open the dining room up to fresh air and sun. The only downside is that the marina building block most of the beautiful view. The menu was full was creative names that make you giggle as you read them. We started the fried floaters (fried pickles) and fried ritos (fried burritos) to start. Both were good the fried Rito's were reminiscent of all famous burrito, although not quite that good still delicious although they were quite large. I was expecting something that looked more like an egg roll and these were full-size burritos so keep that in mind before ordering. For my main course, I had the Tom's classic burger, was a little disappointed as it was less flavorful and a little bit drier than I expected it to be. The fries and everything else were great. We skipped dessert this time. The staff were all very polite and professional, overall I liked this place I probably won't go back just because of the distance. I gave it four stars because of the burger quality. Also FYI, like many lakeside grills, they still allow smoking at this particular establishment so be aware, in case that's something that bothers you.

The breakfast potatoes weren't a fav. I was excited when they said they included the peppers and onion but the potatoes were hard like they were the pre frozen ones, and they just threw the veggies in it. You can tell they weren't cooked together cause the textures were off. The staff was really nice.
