I got beans from Beanetics for my espresso machine and loved it! Excited to go back and try more. It's a very small space, so I'm not sure how it'll be to study/work there.

French Toast Frappe no whipped cream (left), Butter Pecan Cold Brew (right)

Cute local coffee shop in the area. Cozy and quiet for someone wanting to sit in and do some work but not too many seats. Their coffees are great I see they also sell beans in house and a lot of customers come here to buy them. As for the drinks I think adding sweetness levels could significantly improve customer experience. I ordered the french toast frappe for the name and knew it would be one of the more sweeter coffee options to choose from and I wanted something sweet that day. Opted for no whipped cream and the frappe was still beautifully presented. Not sure how much ice gets blended with the coffee but the drink melts really quick. I also ordered the seasonal special butter pecan cold brew. I did not taste the drink until I had already left the store when I realized there was no butter pecan flavor in the drink. It was straight cold brew which I do like the smooth taste of their cold brew but I had ordered the butter pecan flavoring because I wanted it to be sweet. I love supporting local coffee shops around the area but there are a lot of other competitors that this spot would fall short of beating.

Coffee Shop No. 469 Beanetics Coffee Roasters Annandale, VA February 28, 2025 Beanetics Coffee Roasters is another one of these places I have had on my coffee radar, for one reason or another, I have not visited the coffee shop until now. There was no "wow factor" when you walk through the door, but the moment you take a drink of their cortado the WOW factor hits you. The barista who made my drink really knows cortados. We chatted a bit about it. He was dvery kind to his customers and fellow barista. Friendliness and happiness always makes cortados better. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Highly recommend! This is a hidden gem! I found out they roast their own beans, and the coffee is seriously SO fresh. You can really taste the quality. I'm not even a regular coffee drinker, but this is way better than Starbucks or Dunkin'. The smell is amazing too. I actually drive out of my way just to grab coffee here for me and my family. It's that good!

Wow. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. This was my first time visiting but they welcomed me as if I was a regular. I was visiting to kill some time before an appointment down the street. I wasn't planning to get coffee but their March madness special latte sounded too good to pass. I ordered an iced version of that and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was perfectly toasted, solid overall. The coffee was GOOD. It had brown sugar syrup and an amaretto foam. The reason I give this place four stars is because it was EXPENSIVE. $11 for both of those items. The large latte was $7 and change. However, I would visit again if I was in the area.

This is a small cafe located on Columbia Pike with great coffee! I've had an Iced Mocha from here twice and it was delicious both times! They use really good coffee beans and great chocolate which blend so well together! They have pastries for purchase as well in the cafe and they run seasonal and monthly specials on drinks and treats. I always get an Iced Mocha with Oatmilk but my partner loves their Cold brew too. They have a variety of syrup types to add to your coffee and they sell premium coffee bean bags as well to take home. This cafe also has seats making it good for coffee dates or a work from home spot and they have a restroom as well on site. The staff is really friendly and they have great service. There is also plenty of free parking available at this location. They are based in a strip mall and there is also an EV charging station in this lot.

Beanetics has a warm and welcoming ambiance with a wide variety of coffee and teas to try. There are tasty pastries and other baked goods to pair with hot or cold beverages. As a roaster, Beanetics is also a great way to get a wide variety of fresh coffees to brew at home. The service is always welcoming and personal.

Delicious coffee, bakery items, and friendly service. Cheaper and better than Starbucks. Nice interior setup as well.

It was…read morereally hard to select anything to eat because all the pastries were fresh and beautifully baked with toasted with a rich golden brown. I got the savory pie that was stuffed with an unctuous gumbo filling made with creole spices, the holy trinity (onions, peppers, and celery), and a generous portion of chicken. The pie pastry had a perfect flaky crumb that held the filling together. A friend had their breakfast sandwich, which had a rustic and delightful tang from the inclusion of sourdough in the biscuit batter that paired well with the thick slab of egg and crispy bacon. Incredibly savory items. I'm always gravitated towards how well a cafe can do a savory menu and this exceed my expectations. Friends I came in with who got their coffee said that it was very delicious, and the baristas can make a beautiful frothy and rich matcha latte. Its both parts technical skills to pull coffee or whisk matcha and sourcing of high-quality ingredients. Drinks make up a large part of any cafe, so to do it well here in this neighborhood cafe is exceptional. The baristas are running that place like a tight ship! Tip well!

Their biscuit sandwiches are good for the biscuits, if at the high side of what they should cost when compared to nearby competitors. Their coffee and teas are oddly so so, again it's a really rough coffee market in DC and this place maybe only struggled some because of the interest of the staff or their overall menu, haven't been enough to figure it out. I would likely swing by if I had to, but would avoid most of their drinks and probably focus on something small. They have fun designs for merch.

My favorite thing though? Their fun monthly coffee samplers. It's such a creative idea and keeps things interesting. They rotate flavors that match the season, so there's always something new to try. I always get things iced and add the whip, so much better than hot coffee! Honestly though, the coffee will depend on the barista because it seemed to have a new person each month and it tasted so different even when I went back twice to get the same sampler. Thats my only reason for a 4 star. If you love switching up your coffee shops and discovering new favorites, the monthly sampler alone is worth the visit.

Chantilly also typically has a shorter line in case that's helpful!

The storefront itself is cute and there's a fair amount of seating. I will say the parking was kind of weird, It's not a super obvious place and we ended up driving right by it. Parked a couple blocks down and walked over, but otherwise you should be able to find a spot no problem. The baristas were super friendly and patient with us while we looked over the menu. My friend got the (Real!) strawberry match and I got the banana cream matcha. Both were super delicious! The strawberry did taste very fresh and real, and the banana was the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my craving. Overall, I will definitely be back and would recommend to anybody in the area.

I've been looking for a strawberry matcha that has a creamy rich texture, with the perfect ratio of strawberry and matcha. I do appreciate the fact that they use real strawberry puree, but it didn't taste balanced to me. My husband got the mocha forest matcha, it was alright. I wasn't a huge fan of either drinks. I also felt the matcha wasn't ceremonial grade. It had that weird Starbucks fishy taste to it. We ordered breakfast as well- the breakfast indeed tasted homemade but not the kind that wowed me. More like okay wonder bread and some protein. Nothing that stood out or tasted unique. I left wishing I had spent the money elsewhere. Overall, I don't live close to this location so I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if invited I wouldn't be opposed. It's a tiny spot with few seats and a shared small parking lot. It's better for to go orders. Casual ambiance.

I saw the video and knew it was going to have phenomenal pour overs and espresso drinks. Since the cafe only opens on Saturdays from 8-1, I knew I had to make an effort to stop by despite the 30+ minute drive. Unfortunately, many other people had the same exact idea as me, and the staff was definitely overwhelmed by the popularity. There was a long wait for espresso drinks (at least 30 minutes). All bags of beans were sold out (I'd recommend ordering online and picking up or getting it delivered in the future). POUR OVER / DRIP - 5.35 By the time I ordered, they were out of most pour over options so I tried the Costa Rica Cumbres del Poas since I wanted a fruitier coffee. Fortunately, the wait for pour overs was pretty short, about 10 minutes. The flavors were fruity, but not overwhelmingly so, with a lighter mouthfeel. The pour over was a bit more diluted than I'm used to, but I still enjoyed it greatly. CORTADO - 4 After a 45 minute wait, I finally got my cortado. This has got to be one of the best cortados I've had in the DMV. The espresso was bright and fruity and paired well with the steamed whole milk. It was definitely worth the wait! If Nagadi was closer, I can see myself going 1-2x a month. I'd highly recommend this coffee roaster to any coffee snob looking for high quality coffee in the area.
