I don't understand how this place has an overall rating greater than two stars. We went for a late lunch today and ordered a couple of things. First we had the "bruschetta" and it's in quotes because what they called bruschetta was no where near what it's supposed to be. The seriously had bread pieces with slices of tomatoes and toasted cheese on top. Are you kidding me. I asked for the salad bar and, to put it mildly, it was disappointing. There was a sparse spread of options and a total downer. A lunch mate had the chicken sandwich and it seriously looked like a hot pocket. The only shinning light in this bleak dinning experience was the pizza. It was decently cooked and tasty. Otherwise, I doubt I'll ever go there again. read more

Terrible experience tonight. Been coming here for almost 10 years. Never had a bad experience before, but this is bull shit. Always here between 5:30 and 6:30 for the "Family Night Out" special. We have always added 1 additional topping to the "special" of a 2 topping XL Pizza. (Always have payed for the extra toppings....) Until tonight . Now, you CANNOT add extra toppings. Even if you want to pay for them (as we always have done before). Willing to pay DOUBLE for the extra topping. But, NO! Says Kurt the owner. He even told me that Me-N-Ed's pizza won't add toppings to pizzas on special. So I called Me-N-Eds to ask if additional toppings could be added to their pizza specials. ABSOLUTELY said the manager. All the additional toppings we want and an additional charge. Of course! As any pizza place SHOULD charge for additional toppings, they will add them till your hears desires are filled! Duh! ITS FUCKING PIZZA !! Loosing a LOYAL, 10 year customer over the REFUSAL to add a topping to a pizza (that I'm willing to pay DOUBLE FOR) is LUDICROUS ! TERRIBLE decision making is going on at BC's. And then to LIE to me and say Me-N-Eds won't add toppings is total bullshit. Good bye BC's. it's been a good run..... until now. Amazing pizza-did a build ur own with chxn, artichoke, cheese and Alfredo sauce...yummy! Two and a half people can eat a medium and be full. Try the beer paddle taster to-won't disappoint! Deduction on a star bk service was extremely slow just to get drinks and we were there for over an hour just for a medium pizza. I feel like BC's needs another visit from me before I give it a truly fair and objective review. I walked into BC's ready to get my drink, pizza and UFC on and I walked out of BC's...ready to dry hump just about anyone and anything and sounding more British than Simon Cowell eating fish n' chips. DRINKAGE: To be fair, I did have a 24 oz Raging B*tch beer (from Colorado, who would've known?) AND a 16 oz Pinkus beer from...I believe it was Belgium. Possibly more stuff because I remember tasting a beer that reminded me of smoked almonds but I couldn't remember if it was my beer or not. Hmmm Raging B*tch and Pinkus... what can I say I must've been in angry lesbian mode that night. Luckily, the beers, from what I can remember of them, were crisp, delicious, AMAZING. These beers are just two of a "passport" list that I highly recommend everyone *tries* to complete over several visits to BC's. The passport is basically a list of all the beers on tap that they have available and the beer's country of origin. Can't travel internationally? Well at least you can drink internationally... from Fresno!!! Who'd have thought? FOOD: What I can vaguely remember of my pesto vegetarian special pizza is that it was tasty. Fresh artichokes, mushrooms and...whatever the hell else was on there. It really hit the spot with the beer. By itself - the crust was a bit too chewy for my liking, with some of the really doughy parts being at the rim of the pizza. Even so, I'd eat here again, especially with an ice cold glass of Raging B*tch... AMBIENCE: Kinda like a CenCal version of Cheers. There was definitely a Mexican Sam Malone in this bar, and our waitress was like a prettier version of Kirstie Alley without the horrific 80's hairdo. They let me shake my booty and curse in cockney British all over the place, so I think...they're ok in my book. PRICES: I didn't lose my wallet even though I obviously lost my mind for that night. I consider that a win. I'll get back to you on this. PARKING: If you have trouble finding parking in Fresno, you shouldn't be driving. Actually, you probably shouldn't even be on anything with wheels, including scooters. Seriously. There's parking lots everywhere with extra big parking spaces so that British-accented drunks like I was that night don't dent the doors of the car parked next to the one that took me there. read more

As the name implies, this place is great for pizza and beer. The pizza is very reasonable when you go on Wednesday evenings, while they're running a happy hour price on the pizza. However, the beer was alot more than I thought it would be. I easily drank more than what our large pizza cost us. They do have a hell of a selection, though. I definitely need to go back for the Gulden Draak, which my friend told me about after I had gone. It's supposed to be an extremely potent beer, that they allegedly will only serve 1 of to you. I don't know about that, they served me a couple of Arrogant Bastards, and those things can't be far behind in Alcohol Content than this "one hit wonder." For all you happy-hour lovin' drunks out there in the Clovis area, remember: I Love Sushi on Mondays for $1 Bud/Bud Light bottles, BC's Pizza on Wednesdays for cheap pizza and drafts, and Yukon Jack's every day of the week 3-7 and all day on weekends. 1/2 off appetizers and domestics. Anyway the place is great for families, too. The bar is in one room of the restaurant, and in the other is traditional booth seating. They've got arcade games in front, (The Simpsons, ftw! brings back some memories) and that definitely qualifies this place as more kid-friendly than Me-N-Ed's Victory Grill now that their arcade was taken out and replaced with pool tables. Give this place a try, I'll definitely be back to write an update once I try that Gulden Draak. I'm intrigued. read more

Have to sadly downgrade my review to one star. My girlfriend and I stood at the entrance to the bar for 20 minutes, and when a table opened up we sat down and waited for our waitress. When she came over, she informed us that there was a waiting list for the tables. Uhhhh, what? I have been coming here for years and this is the first I have heard of that. There is no sign stating there is a waiting list, and not a single fucking person asked us if we were waiting for a table, or made any mention of a waiting list. It was embarrassing to have to get up and leave the table, looking like we got booted from our table. If there are to be rules like this, at least make sure people are aware that they exist. Great food & beer HAPPY HOUR You buy a beer, you get a free mini pizza! That's awesome. Plus the beer and the pizza are really good. That's hard to beat. FOOD I haven't had a ton of things on the menu, but what I've had has been really tasty. The pizza is flavorful and the ingredients taste fresh. Speaking of ingredients, they have A LOT of pizza topping options, more than most pizza joints. The pesto cheese bread appetizer is great! And they had a salad bar. The bar area has several HDTVs, usually with sports playing, and a good amount of seating. The rest of the restaurant has several high wooden booths, like a pizza parlor should. Who in the world likes having 1/3 of their pizza being crust, stuffed crust can probably get by but in this case it wasn't.. The mozzarella cheese they use harden up so fast it was like eating a soft brick of cheese... Now let me tell u about the salad bar.. They have a strict "no sharing" policy as stated on the menu.. It's about 5 bucks for 1 trip to the salad bar, which contained nasty looking lettuce.. Chuck e cheese has better option for salad(at least offer some boiled egg).. As far as service goes, it's nonexistent.. I also had beer which the server asked me if I wanted the large, which I agreed to but when I received it was a regular size cup as u would get at hooters.. If you love pizza a beer your in the right place! They have beer from all over the world that you wouldn't be able to get at most restaurants. They have a lot of promotions for happy hour and have annual beer festivals. We have been to a few and they are a lot of fun! There is also good promotions during football and baseball games where they have raffles and you can win cool prizes. Despite their abundance of beer they don't however have any specialty drinks or cocktails. Their pizza is the best I have yet to have. What I really love is that they have just about everything that you can possibly think that you can put on a pizza! Make your own or enjoy one of their specialty pizzas. Their pesto bread is amazing too! Only thing I don't recommend is their salad bar, not the best but still have a fresh one. Service is always friendly and great, however it gets EXTREMELY packed during the weekends so plan ahead or get their early! Me and my buddy wanted to grab a pizza but didn't know where to go while out in the Fresno area. It seemed like they didn't have the same type of pizza places that we are accustomed to on the East Coast. Obviously we didn't want Pizza Hut or something like that. After a lot of hard work and asking around we found BC's in Clovis. What a surprise! Great pizza and tons of beer on tap/bottle. This is every man's dream! We ordered 3 different pizzas and every one of them was delicious. The crust was perfect and the sauce was mmmm. We topped it off with a delicious hot brownie and ice cream dessert. It was decadent! Came here for lunch on 3/18/13 and got a medium combination pizza. The toppings were packed on and the sauce was tasty. The crust was kinda chewy. The soft drinks were large. It appeared they had plenty of beer selections, but I didn't get anything. There was one waitress on hand to help the lunch crowd. When walking in, we were given menus and asked to sit wherever we wanted. The restaurant has high ceilings and is very dark. Could use more lighting. I will definitely be back again. read more

Best place in the Central Valley for pizza and beer! Great selection of craft beers, they also do special brewery nights like Stone or New Belgium. My last review was for delivery, and since then I've come in for my first time and then returned a few weeks later with my husband, who was eager to re-live his college days by perusing the expansive beer menu he remembered them having. The first time I went in, I ordered a cold vegetarian sandwich, which was eh, but tasted good dipped in ranch. (What doesn't?) Our waiter was friendly enough, and the evening was pretty uneventful. The second time, with my husband, was a little different. We were seated, ordered some pesto bread and a cheese roll, and he asked for a beer menu. The waitress handed him back half a page of beers, and when he asked her questions, we either got, "Uhhhh, I can ask?" or "Uhhhh...I've only been here five months." FIVE MONTHS? You've been there for five months and you can't answer basic questions? We ordered a hot "sandwich", but came to realize that all of their sandwiches are really calzones..and that sucks. "Nobody likes calzones; they're just pizza that's harder to eat." Aside from our waitress being clueless about the menu, she also must have lost a contact on her way from the kitchen to our table, because she brought back dirty plates for us to eat the appetizers off of. Sigh. Also, I have no idea why they're so stingy about "sharing" from their salad bar (like the Yelper who gave her daughter some sunflower seeds off of her plate), because their salad bar SUCKS. Nothing looked fresh, and half of it was made up of salad dressing. Maybe 8 toppings, if that. Just..yuck. B C's pizza was OK. Nothing special, I saw a lot of people complaining about the price of the pizza. I ordered a carry out and for a large it was only about $15, which wasn't too bad. I personally thought there was too much dough, it overpowered the toppings and the sauce. It wasn't terrible, I just thought it was going to be a lot better. I'm not all for having a lot of thick crust so maybe that's why I was a little disappointed. I definitely don't agree with the people that say it's "the best pizza in Clovis". read more

I give this place 4 stars only because it is the best pizza in Fresno/Clovis area. In Monterey, Gianni's would win, hands down. In the Bay Area, North Beach Pizza and even Amici's would win. But in the town that Me 'n Ed's built, BC's is the best pizza. The crust is kinda thick, and if they would put some garlic butter on it that would make it really good! Kinda like Mama's Pizza in Fort Worth. But for pizza in Clovis, BC's is better than Round Table or DaVinci's and certainly Me 'n Ed's. They have a variety of pizzas and you can choose your own toppings if wanted. I always go with a creation that they already have. Pizza crust is always thick and crispy on the outside. They have excellent happy hour deals and I must say, I do love their micheladas!!!! Yummy! This place has a large bar area with dining and an opposite dining area without the bar. It's obviously much livelier in the bar area but if you plan to bring kids, the opposite dining area is great.
