I finally tried BC's Pizza! My husband and I are self proclaimed top pizza critics for America so when we got to the parking lot, our game face was on. The place is split into 2. There is a booth side and a bar side. That makes sense though, right?! BC'S pizza and BEER so there has to be a bar. It was a friday night and close to Halloween so the place was packed. We waited for about 15 mins before we were seated but it didn't seem that long because there is tons to look at. The place is decorated with all sorts of old time fresno/clovis memories on the walls along with the weekly specials. We were seated on the bar side which is much louder than the booth side because there are 3 or 4 tvs hanging and lots of people drinking and talking. If you're having a guys night or you're single and want to watch the game, this is a great place. I don't know much about the beer prices but I saw that they had a happy hour and some specials but like I said, we were on a mission for some pizza. We ordered a medium hawaiian pizza (11.00) and A trip to the salad bar (5.00). I really enjoyed the salad bar and wished I could've had more than 1 trip for $5 because they give you a small plate. You can only fit so much on there. The pizza came out not long after and was fresh. My husband said that Popolos was on top and after trying BC'S he says Popolos is still on top with BC'S trailing close behind. I agree. I guess I'll compare salad bar prices for popolos and bc's and see which one i'd choose because substance wise, they are the same. A salad bar is a salad bar, right?! I would come here again but I don't think I'd go out of my way unless I had a dealsaver like this time. btw, they are friendly about the dealsavers and the transaction was easy. read more

This is a great place to go with kids or for football season. We came here to watch a Pittsburgh game, and the bar was nearly empty. I think that's odd for a pizza and beer place, on a Sunday, during football season. Maybe because the waitress was slow. But I minus a star for her not letting us watch the game on the BIG tv rather than the 2 little ones. Pizza is good. I always get the veggie pizza. Drove 30 minutes from where I was staying to get to this place. We had a coupon and we ordered a pitcher of Diet Coke and a large pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers. Also bought a side of chicken tenders. The tenders came first. Personally, they were alright. I like the texture, but there was a lacking of flavor (that's what the ranch dippings are for). Then the pizza arrived. Sadly for the kitchen but happily for us, they made a mistake and prepared an XL size instead of the large we ordered. For awhile I have been eating a mixture of fast food & Costco has far as pizzas go. The toppings and the cheese made this the first pizza in awhile that tasted "real." My only concern is that the dough was not 100% cooked. On my last slice, I had to take out a piece of uncooked dough. We came after the lunch hour was over on a Saturday, so there was not that many people. Maybe I'll check this place again if I move up here. read more

It's their selection of rotating beers on tap and their happy hour specials that keep us coming back for more. Servers are always friendly and the service is attentive but not smothering. The 5 of us have made this our regular spot on weeknights for pizza and beer. Pizzas we love include: 1. Vegetarian supreme - artichoke hearts, zucchini, and other veges. What's not to love? 2. Hawaiian - can't really mess it up, can you? 3. Prosciutto special - we all agree on this one! 4. BBQ chicken - because barbeque sauce. Enough said. 5. Pesto - Italian on Italian is a winner The servers are always happy to give us samples of beer before we decide, which is really just so awesome. If you're lucky enough to find yourself there during happy hour - ends at 6 on Monday and Tuesday- they'll charge you the pint price for a humongous 23 oz glass. Oh and did I mention you'll also get a personal pizza (cheese, mushroom, or pepperoni) with that? There's lots of crust, so be warned. However, the beer and good deals makes up for it. read more

This place gets a 3.5 star rating from me, although if pressed I'd give it a 4 over a 3. I came in after reading some Yelp reviews while passing through for business and was intrigued by a supposed pizza place that had a great beer offering. Well, the reviews were right, the place had a great draft and bottle selection and I took advantage of not only a sampler flight, but also a couple beers not local to myself (being from the east coast). The service was so-so, I sat at the bar and a couple different bartenders came by for drink/food orders but no one was overly friendly or helpful to suggest or help out. With that said, the pizza was mighty tasty, even if pricey, as others had mentioned already. In the end though, the tv's in the bar area along with the drink selection is what gets my vote. I'd come back for sure if I were in the area. (btw, they sell bottles to go, which may be a plus to some) read more

There are few places in Clovis to get a good pie but this place most certainly holds claim to being one of the best to do it. The place is so laid back and chill they have a t.v in every area in sight. This is def a great place to get a slice and watch the game. They have many daily specials a great one for lunch until 3 pm under 7 bucks. My son's favorite food is pizza and since his personal choice is always pizza it was great we found another spot to go to. read more

They have great pizza. The best micheladas I have ever had. The potato skins are great and they servers are very friendly.

Our overall experience here was pretty great, but we didn't need much to be satisfied. We really just wanted something fast, cheap, and a little tasty. My husband was suited and and ready to play his part as a groomsman in a wedding that was still a few hours away, when he mentioned he was hungry. I suggested we find some food since it would be a while till he would be eating again. We found BC's and it wasn't far from our hotel. The lunch special with one-trip to the salad bar, 3 slices (from a medium pizza) and soda was less than $10. Salad bar had a few toppings like olives, mushrooms, hot peppers, sunflower seeds, croutons, etc. Pizza choices were pepperoni or mushroom with additional toppings for only $0.35. I had a mushroom, artichoke heart and olives. I'm more of a thin, crunchy crust person so the pizza wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad. Service was great. Very friendly and efficient with good timing on drink refills. We ended up returning shortly after leaving to pick up three slices for the groom ($4.87 - and they were bigger than the lunch special slices). Great prices, good service, decent food. read more

The pizza here is delicious! We had a bday party and ordered cheese, pepperoni, and combination pizzas and they were ALL so good. I typically don't even like plain cheese pizza, but this one was very good. The owner is super helpful and accommodating as well. Every single staff member was pleasant the entire time. They had to have been tired from all the back and forth, but they had a positive and helpful demeanor the entire time! Pizza was pretty good. Definitely top 5 in the area. Miss the bar being open. One of us ordered takeout by phone and I picked it up. I didn't know the other person ordered ranch (which I would never do) so I didn't know to ask. Apparently I paid $60 (plus tip) for two pies, including a charge for ranch, but didn't get the ranch requested on the phone order. I know things are at loose ends right now in the restaurant business, but if you're gonna charge for ranch you need to send it out with the order. BC 's is one of the thicker crust varieties and the crust is good. Sauce tastes good and comes through the flavors. Toppings seemed arranged rather than tossed randomly on the pie. It's not close to me at all so I'll never be a regular. When nearby, I would usually consider BC's first when I want pizza. read more

I love this place. For the beer, not the food. I am a lover of all things quality, and that includes good drink. BC's has Gulden Drak on tap, and that is awesome. However, they will only serve you one. What is it with the Valley, and people who can't figure out how to drink with out driving, that ruin it for the rest of us? Can't you idiots figure out how to hang out with your friends until you are sober enough to drive home? And what's the point of even going out if you're not going to actually stay and HANG OUT? I am perfectly capable of walking home, or riding a bike home, or even using a cab or public transit after drinking. But BC's will police you, and only allow you to have one Gulden Drak per visit because OTHER PEOPLE are morons. Well, thanks BC's, for taking that upon yourselves. Best pizza crust in town! If you like a soft and think pizza crust that isn't burnt and crispy, this is the place to go. Great place for brews and pizza! Their tap list is always changing and they always seem to have a great selection. The pizzas are great as well. The Oktoberfest pizza and the Thai chili pizzas are hands down my favorite. I tend to go in when Ryan or Eric are working, always get great service from them! Also, I highly recommend going during happy hour, because with the purchase of a beer, you get a personal size pizza for free. Can't go wrong with that.
