Oswaldo came to my house and seemed knowledgeable. I had rats in the crawl space under my house. It seems he / the company offer to lay traps and fill holes, which is something that I can do myself. I wanted someone to go into the crawl space and inspect where they were coming in and fill holes / and protect the house from the crawl space. I would think a pest company should expect to do a little contracting work, although that doesn't seem to be the case. Company's comments are wrong. You are confusing my house with another house. I don't have an attic, and I didn't have any mice (or rat) droppings inside the house. read more

My husband contacted BC Exterminating Services to get a second opinion after we were informed by our current provider Orkin; that we had a "mice infestation" in our basement. It is important to note that Orkin was only contracted for termite treatment. Needless to say, we were leery of the Orkin findings given that we've never seen any signs of mice for the last 4 years. James came out and thoroughly inspected our basement. His findings concluded that there was no mice infestation. I'm so glad we trusted our intuitions and sought a second opinion. These guys are the best! Took care of my bugs issues and they never came back! They're professional and the price was fair. I would use them and again read more

The last treatment by BC lasted six years. This year the small black ants have returned. We called BC and their technician was there on time as arranged for a consultation. They would have applied the chemicals that day but it was raining. They came back today as promised on time and performed the service. The technician was friendly, courteous and professional. We are very happy with BC and have no issues recommending them to others. read more

I saw a mouse in my apartment and a friend and I sealed what we thought were the access points to keep mice from coming into my home. However, after I saw another mouse, I called and signed a contract with B.C. Exterminating to help us find and seal holes that we knew we had missed. Even though I thought it was very pricey ($700+), I paid it because I was stressed and wanted their expertise to find the remaining access points and solve the problem. To their credit, they did find additional holes in the first two weeks of the contract and laid traps and poison throughout the apt. which did catch several mice. However, after another mouse came into my apartment it was obvious that there was a hole(s) that they had missed. Again, I asked my friend for help and he took the necessary time to investigate and was able to find the additional access points. The next time, the employee sent by the owner came to my apartment, I asked him to let the owner know that I was unhappy that between the two of them they had missed several key access points. Thus, I was disappointed that the owner never contacted me to offer an adjustment or at the very least an explanation/apology. He took my payment but I was not satisfied with his work. In addition, the owner pulled out my dishwasher to plug potential access holes and didn't re-secure it to the cabinet. So, my friend had to fix this as well. Unfortunately, if I had found additional signs of mice, I would not have contacted them anyway because I had lost confidence in their ability to solve the problem because of their lack of attention to detail. This lack of any type of a response to me clearly demonstrates his level of concern to satisfy his customers or fully meet the obligations of the contract. GG read more

The company and Oswaldo Castro, specifically, were easy to coordinate with and were able to come out the next day. Oswaldo was efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. read more

Oswaldo and his team are fantastic! I called them the first time to take care of a mouse problem. I know have them do regular maintenance in my home and yard. They are extremely professional and responsive. I highly recommend them! read more

Really great company if you need to get rid of a mice problem quickly. We went with a reputable company last year that claimed to have sealed everything, for an expensive price, and this year the mice were back. All over our basement furniture again, which we had to re clean and disinfect. We found these guys on Yelp, and decided to give them a try. I contacted them through the Yelp estimate button, and sure enough Oswaldo responded the same day. He came out the next day to see the problem, provide a quote and start treatment. There would be 2 follow up visits included which was great. The price felt a little higher than I wanted, but because I wanted it handled quickly I hired them. They were very good about putting on shoe covers and they even cleaned and disinfected any mouse laden areas, which the previous company did not offer to do. Additionally, they inspected much more thoroughly, including our crawl space and exterior walls, and found a few holes that the other company missed. All 3 visits they were punctual, showing up right on the time they quoted (beginning range of time which I loved). Overall, fast, easy to get in touch with guys who do the job well. Mild downside is that their guarantee is only 30 days - wish it was longer. I will call them again if we have another extermination issue, but hopefully with these fixes no more mice to be seen! read more

Fantastic. We had bird mites from a nest on our front door creep into the house. They are very small and multiply very quickly. It was truly a nightmare. We called BC exterminating and they came out the next morning. Their price was fair and warranted. The mites were gone after the first spray and they came for a second spray to ensure no eggs or other bugs persisted. We are so grateful for their service, their speed and reliability, and their thoroughness. It could've been a major headache, but it was resolved easily. Highly recommend. Thank you! read more

I moved into a basement in DC in early October. To my surprise, I found roaches in the cabinets above my fridge. I was shocked and wanted to move out immediately! Luckily, my landlord connected me to BC Exterminating Services. They came in to conduct an assessment, and identified feces. They recommended a 3-week treatment, and we began the very same day! We scheduled all 3 treatments at our initial meeting and they were always on time. After one week, I saw an improvement and I am happy with the results. I highly recommend BC Exterminating Services read more

Worked with James on a squirrel problem in my attic. He and his team were right to the point and provided me an affordable rate to deal with everything in a timely manner. Very communicative and pleasant to work with. read more

I was super impressed with the level of customer service and how James was listening to what I was telling him and asking follow-up questions t gain more knowledge! Oswaldo and his team did a great job, was reliable, nice, thorough, and provided information. We have one more follow-up appointment in a few weeks! In comparison, we live in an apartment and our apartment is contracted with a large pest company (American Pest). Their (AP) lack of care and detail today in their inspection, reinforces we made the right decision call BC Exterminating Services. Thank you James, Oswaldo, and Team! read more

Oswaldo and his crew are such professionals. I've been using BC Exterminating Services since March and have seen a significant improvement on pest related issues in our 65+year old house. Oswaldo is always quick to respond to any questions as well, and the other folks I've interacted with are always friendly and knowledgeable. As long as they continue to do a good job, I will continue to be a customer. I'd recommend them to anyone who has issues with pests, as they've done a fantastic job addressing our rodent and insect issues. Great job guys! read more

Wife thought a large rhino had moved into our attic, and once I heard him I was convinced also. Call BC and they arrived later that afternoon. Oswald & James found no rhinos, but did detect evidence of Micky & Minie setting up house. Traps were set, also cracks & holes were closed. Oswald returned promptly on the following 2 Wednesdays to check traps and hunt for new evidence or entry points points to fill. I'm thrilled that they came quickly, & returned exactly when they promised. Not a trait I find enough in inane so called service organization. Wife likes the guarantee that they'll return if we see new evidence in the next month. Good people. read more

Oswald did a great job on our house. We had a mouse (but who knows how many, really). He didn't just put out traps or poison. He put expanding foam in the gaps in our garage and under our sink to stop giving the mice a way to get in. Frankly, I think that he improved the insulation of our garage in the process (though I don't really have any way to say for sure on that). He was always prompt on his follow up visits and I was really happy with the result (no mice). read more

In a desperate moment after unsuccessfully trying to kill mice ourselves, I sent a message via Yelp requesting a call back. It was 6:35am. Oswaldo called me 10 minutes later. He gave me confidence right away that he was going to take care of this horrible situation we were going through. He sent Will. Not only he was extremely patient and polite but was very thorough and detailed on the first inspection. My husband was impressed with the level of detail. He filled the holes, with a special foam at any possible point of entry, checked behind our dishwasher, garage, attic, bedrooms, etc. He put enough traps and poison that was not visible but yet effective enough to accomplish the job. The noise we heard in the attic subsided. Yeepee!! Fast forward, last Monday I met Oswaldo. He was also very thorough and assured me that we do not have mice anymore! He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will call Oswaldo and Will again and again for any pest extermination needs. Highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed, read more

BC Exterminators are professional, courteous and highly effective at what they do. We had an ant infestation in Kensington, MD and they were the first to respond. From the very first interaction they showed attention to detail, customer service and were timely. I could not recommend these folks more. Anyone with pest control issues should give them a call. It's clear they have a culture of service and the results speak for themselves. Thank you BC!! read more

Great! Called early in the morning after finding a mouse (alive) and he was there by 1pm. He was VERY thorough which impressed me and walked me through everything. The yelp reviews were definitely not misleading and I'm very glad I went with BC Pest. He set up traps, poison, filled in the holes, gaps, everything and will be back next week to check on them. He even took care of the semi-alive mouse in our garage that I was too scared to even look at! I appreciated his putting everything back in its place and treating my home as if it was his own. Highly recommend (and that's before we know how well everything works!) Hopefully we won't find anymore :) read more

If you ever need pest control service either for routine maintenance or emergency this is the place to call. I have been using their services for over three years now and they are always on time, thorough and super polite and friendly. There have been several "emergency" calls I had to place for unforeseen problems like ants, bees , etc ...Oswaldo always makes the time for these as well. Immediately responded and took care of any problem we had at our home. So wonderful to know that great customer service still is available. Great business, great people read more

Oswaldo did a great job! He came in and showed me where all the problem areas were and what things I needed to change. Some of the issues are structural - my apartment building is old. I reached out to my building about sealing some areas that he pointed out to me. He was very thorough and did a great job.! read more

Oswaldo came to our home immediately after I saw a couple of mice in our townhome. He filled some gaps, laid bait, and traps. His process works as we saw results immediately. The mice are now gone. Oswaldo came back a few days later for the follow-up. We are very pleased with his work! read more

They were great. They identified the entry points in our big rambling house and blocked them up. We haven't had mice problems since.

We've been using BC Pest Extermination Services for two years now and have never regretted it. Our previous pest company would frequently skip appointments and could not seem to help us with our mouse problem no matter how many times they came. By contrast, Oswaldo immediately discovered all sorts of entry points the mice were using to get into our house. He then recommended a series of treatments to deal with the mice, laid out a concrete plan for blocking the holes, and recommended a good contractor to help with the project. Oswaldo and his contractor took care of everything promptly and with great attention to detail. Since that project, we've schedule routine quarterly maintenance visits with BC Pest Extermination to refresh the mouse traps in the problem areas of the house and spray the perimeter of our house to prevent other pests. This has gone a long way towards eliminating our mouse problem; we haven't had any major incidents in ages. Oswaldo and his other employees are responsive, reliable, and friendly. They never make a mess and always come within the time window they set for the appointments, which is great since both my husband and I work. We've also used BC Pest to get rid of a bird's nest that was located in a vent in front of our house. Oswaldo called in a colleague who got rid of the nest, treated the vent to eliminate bird mites, and put up a screen to prevent anything else from coming in. I can't stress enough the great customer service we've received from this company since we started using it. read more

First, I must say that I am a very picky type person. This business, in my opinion, is exceptional. I was having a rodent problem which was wreaking havoc in my life. The men visited my home 3 times, first time to secure my home using various specialized products for the type of work they provide, then returned twice to check things out. I was amazed at the level of knowledge, professionalism and method used (repetition) to put an end to my problem. They call and show up when you're given a timeframe and are dedicated to solving the problem. To do this takes a high level of experience. I give them 5-stars minimum! Yvonne C. J. read more

These people are very responsive, we had a cockroach problem and we have been working with this company for a month. They show up when they say and it looks like the problem has been solved. I wanted to wait a couple months before I wrote this review. They did a awesome job. Price wasnt bad. I had rats in my walls. I live in a townhouse. So it could've came from anywhere. Prompt, effective, and friendly service. My fiancee and I had just moved into a new home. We thought we'd be the only ones moving it, but it turns out we had a number of roommates that were there to greet us (spiders). Ever since watching the 1990s film Arachnophobia, I have not been a fan of these 8 legged invaders. I immediately contacted BC and scheduled a spray down. They were extremely professional and friendly. When they say they will be at your house at a certain time, they will be there. I signed up for the quarterly spray package and have not regretted it. The house is now spider free except for the occasional one that sneaks in through the front door. I highly recommend them. read more

These guys are the best, seriously! We went from one mouse to house infestation in 2 months. After one month of support from oswaldo and team we are completely mouse free! Kind team and they pay attention to details! read more

He was a nice enough guy, was responsive and came when he said he'd come. That's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. He charged ~$550 for ant treatment, which included another month or so of free treatment. Then it was supposed to be ~$85 for each treatment after the first month. When the ants came back a few months later, I called back and he tried to charge me $225 for two more treatments! So I can spend close to $800 for ant treatments that don't even work! I just laughed and said never mind. Probably better to just get some bug spray and take care of the problem yourself. read more

Best service ever. Needed flea and tick service due to having a pet in a rental home per the lease. Needed it last minute and on a tight schedule. Bc Exterminating Services - Pest Control Near Me

We noticed some bees in our backyard and looked up exterminators on Yelp. BC had great reviews so I called them. After speaking to the owner, James called me to get more information and 2 days later was out to inspect our backyard. He was very knowledgeable and kind and recommended a reasonable plan. He sprayed that day and Oswaldo and his partner came out 2 days later and 5 days later but by then the bees were already gone. Oswaldo was also very kind and knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend this company. read more

These guys are great. I had a problem with Norway rats in my walls that had chewed through the wood siding and were eating my insulation and nesting. I had no idea where the entry points were. Terminex couldn't hack it. James and Carl rolled up on time, with a guarantee they would fix the problem. I was skeptical at first when two dudes in a Pontiac showed up instead of a work van, but they solved the problem through periodic installations of tracking powder and multiple visits. They were meticulous, honest, and reasonably priced. They are friendly and actually seem to take their job as a challenge to succeed; super professional demeanor too. Their results are tangible and they clean up the mess afterward. If other guys have failed, I recommend giving James and Carl a call. Just be patient, it won't get fixed in one visit. I am now a customer for the long haul. read more

scheduled an appointment for Friday between 3-4 p.m for a termite inspection my brother kindly waited at the house . No one ever showed or called. A few months after moving into my new home I began to see small roaches coming from behind my refrigerator. After 2 weeks of occasional sightings they began to make themselves at home. It was time to call in a pro. I was given Oswaldo's phone number on a Thursday, he was at my house Friday morning for an estimate and began working on Saturday. After the first visit, not a single roach in sight. A couple of follow up visits later and he assured that we were now safe from these intruders. With a 2 year old baby and a 4 year old pit bull I was concerned about an exterminator coming in and spraying but I am glad to say that I am 100% satisfied with the quick and professional service and I definitely recommend him to anyone! read more

If you want to be rid of mice, ants, rats, arachnids, etc, Oswoldo is your guy. Look no further. Other larger pest companies often hire clueless kids right out of school. Very impressed with BC - I looked at several options and so glad I chose them. The main reason I selected them was because of my initial conversation with James who was so friendly, knowledgeable etc. We are still in the midst of their services and so far, so good. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. Very reliable also, always came when scheduled.

Over the course of five visits, we had four employees. Each was polite, professional, and helpful. The each explained what was happening and what to expect. (We had mice in the attic.) They brought their own ladders. Each person even cleaned up the dust that escaped the attic. I highly recommend BC. read more
