They responded immediately and sent a technician out the same day, who set up traps--one of which successfully caught the rat. Unfortunately, the rat escaped the following day when they returned to retrieve the trap. However, they came back again at no additional charge, replaced the bait, and provided us with a clear plan moving forward. Unacceptable Customer Service with Miche Pest Control- Virgina…read more I had been a loyal customer of Miche Pest Control for several years, but my experience ending service has been extremely disappointing. I requested cancellation of my service effective September 3rd, and they confirmed it. However, they still charged me for that time period. When I asked for a refund, they refused--even though I was no longer receiving services. This shows that Miche Pest Control values profits over people. Their unwillingness to issue a fair refund after years of business demonstrates poor ethics and disregard for customer loyalty. On top of that, their service quality had already been subpar, which was one of the main reasons I cancelled. I strongly recommend that others avoid this company and instead choose a more reputable provider. You can also check the Better Business Bureau, where you'll find additional complaints from past customers who experienced similar issues My response- that call mentions my renewal is 9/27. Hence the follow up actions. Bottom line that fee includes sept and i am not receiving that due to the cancellation. Its unethical to take someones money and not deliver service. It should be at minimum prorated.

I had Terminx come out to spray for mosquitos and pests. They put me on a monthly subscription and…read moredid not clarify there is an early termination fee. The economy not being great and gas prices have hit me hard and I'm typically only able to afford 1 meal a day right now. I asked to cancel my subscription, and even offered additional pay for the two times they came out so I could cancel, but they told me the early termination fee is at $1300 regardless of why I want to cancel. I am upset that there is no other option to completely cancel services, especially that were not made clear during paperwork. I was going to cancel temporarily, but now I'm done with the company all together after my 12 months are up. I also was told my attic had a severe infestation of mice and they tried to scare me with worries of hantavirus. I got another company out and they said there was no evidence of a "severe infestation" and were easy and wonderful to work with. Terminx is a very commercialized company, it does not care about anything except convincing people to pay them, even for things they absolutely do not need. The push for monthly subscriptions is absurd, I should be able to request someone to come out a single time/ as needed.
