Rude wait staff at the bar. Manager did not engage in a conversation when I asked to address the unprofessional behavior of the bar staff. Ordered 5 lbs of crawfish to go. Not a big deal in terms of an order. Waited over 30 min for the order and had to re-order at least once because they forgot about my order. Manager ended up getting other customers involved in the discussion with me which had absolutely nothing to do with my issues. Have been to many other BBs around Houston with great service and no problems. Will never come back to Webster BBs again. Very disappoining to say the least. If you are in the area, I highly recommend Sams Boat on NASA 1 as a great alternative in terms of service, professionalism and quality of food. read more

She kept getting in between our chairs and just directing everything to me and disrespected my girlfriend in the sense that she is also a client. And at the time to pay she did the same thing again totally forgot my girlfriend was there and just came to me and I honestly felt pressured to leave her a tip. We went to BB Tex Orleans today for lunch and tried the Houston Restaurant Week menu. Everything we had was delicious - the red beans and rice were good (better than most places), the peel and eat shrimp were delicious, the gumbo was a little different than most gumbo I have had but still really good. I loved the boudin flautas and would definitely order them again and the bread pudding was excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you like cajun cuisine - they mix it really well with Tex Mex for something that is different but really good. First off, I wanna thank Amanda for being a marvelous server. She was truly great. It's been a while since I've been genuinely impressed with a restaurant's food, and I mean this whole heartedly. My woman and I got the $35 four course meal special they have going on for restaurant week. We started off with some crawfish etouffee; that was great. The roux was thicker which I really love. We then had some hot and spicy shrimp, fantastic! But let's get to the point here.... the Rockdale Redfish. This entree was 10/10. The was the fish was cooked was perfect, the sauce was decadent, creamy and mouth watering. It was also topped with blackened shrimp which made everything twice as tasty. Niek waited on my sister and I today and she is extremely pleasant and her bubbly personality added to the experience. Today I ventured out and ordered shrimp and grits. Niek suggested the blackened catfish and grits which I said "yes" to and holy cow!! I'm glad I did!! It was delicious!! Theirs grits are buttery and cheesy and the catfish was perfect!! Even finished off the cole slaw they were served on top of. All good. We ordered the wet & spicy boiled shrimp Good flavor, but a little on the firm side for my liking. Since you peel the flavor off, it's more of a lick your fingers seasoning. The butter didn't help in my opinion. I mean....it didn't NEED help. It was good solo. I was born in New Orleans and raised in Lafayette, LA, and have been going to crawfish boils for decades. My daughter and I wanted some boiled crawfish this week, so we decided to try this restaurant. It was ok, but I have a real problem with restaurants that put the seasoning on the outside of the crawfish. It belongs IN THE WATER. I've encountered this weird way of serving crawfish rarely--and NEVER in Louisiana. Only in Texas. I think I got an entire month's worth of salt in tonight's crawfish. They were nicely spiced, and the corn was good, but the potatoes were bland--probably because they weren't cooked in spicy water. I don't like giving negative reviews, but we were so disappointed. My friend raves about this place so I came to this location , we sat at the bar and bartender cristal gave such bad service. That's what happens when you sit at bar because we didn't want to wait and the bar was pretty empty ordered crawfish, pickles and dozen oysters. Pickles came and we waited and waited for our oysters and nothing. We even got our crawfish and still no oysters so we reminded her and got them after we finished our 4 pounds of crawfish (Long ass wait!) oysters should be easy. Not to mention we waited a frkn hour to get our sausage we ordered with our crawfish and I had to ask about 4 times and she was annoyed but why not just got and get it yourself if you see that I keep bothering you about it. Asked for butter 3 times too but too busy flirting with a guy at the bar to pay attention to us. The couple next to us said she was horrible also I was just confused as to why when the place is not busy won't come here again. Waited 10-15min on the curb until someone sitting in front of the door finally got up and asked me if I needed anything. I told her I was there to pick up an online order and the lady tells me "we take orders on that side" which was like not even 5 feet away. Okay? It was a good price for 5lbs of crawfish but the shell was sticking to the meat and they were so dry. Went on a Saturday nite. Was told the wait for 2 was 20-30 minutes. A lady was passing out free hush puppies to waiting patrons and they were really good. Our table was ready in 33 minutes. Tracey was our waitress and super nice and helpful.. we ordered the most popular appetizer the pollo bullets and were disappointed. My date ordered the trio of crawfish etouffee,(was ok),garlic smoked sausage(no),and red beans and rice(bland). I had the redfish with some amazing sauce. The sauce made the dish and the bread that came with it was super good.. did not like the green bean medley that came with it, but the cilantro rice was good. I ordered a hurricane on the rocks that was watered down, then I ordered another alcoholic beverage(that was recommended by the waitress-couldn't remember the name of the drink, but it was super sweet and tasted like koolaide. My dat got the Hennessy drink, and it was super strong. 2/11/20. Came back a 2nd time this evening around 7p. Not too busy at the bar. But apparently my waitress was super busy. When I got ready to order she said "give me just a second" which turned out to be 5 minutes while she answered to go orders on the phone and shucking oysters. Food was 1/2 decent. Waitress never came back to check on me. She stayed shucking ouster's and answering the phone, and chit chatting with the patrons on the side where she was shucking oysters. Ate here today for the first time and really enjoyed the food AND service. The manager seated us and suggested we try one of their many beer selections, or perhaps a margarita. I'm always on the hunt for a good margarita, so my wife ordered frozen and I ordered mine on the rocks with salt. The drink was pretty strong and lacked any personality (?) - tasted like tequila with lime juice, which IS a basic margarita. Our waitress suggested crab empanadas as an appetizer, my wife ordered fried shrimp and oysters, and I was drawn to the description of the fish tacos by our waitress. The empanadas were served with an avocado/ranch dip that tasted amazing on the crab appetizer. I was lucky to cheat one shrimp and one oyster off my wife, and they were both VERY good - probably what I will order next time. My blackened catfish tacos were served with slaw and various sauces on a flour tortilla (2), with a side of red beans and rice. My ONLY complaints about these wonderful fish tacos are minor - the tacos are HUGE, so 1 would have been plenty for me ( I like variety, not volume), and I desperately needed more beans with my rice. We've eaten here a number of times and it is usually 30% full of diners, at most. Makes you wonder why, bc the food is pretty dang good and reasonably priced. But I think I've come up with a few reasons why oit's never very full: 1) honestly, it could use a good scrub down, it's a little on the grungy side, and that's kinda ok for a cajun place...but still. 2) the weird liquor serving process: the bartender can only pull beers, they have to give a liquor order to someone in the back who takes their time filling the order. I've been to other BB's locations, and they do not do this. 3) spotty service, and that's being nice. The lady who waited on us at the bar on Sat. was totally out to lunch. Also, a note to Alyssa R. I so wanted this place to meet or exceed my expectations but it failed. We came here on Saturday for a belated anniversary dinner. I came at the recommendation of a bartender of another establishment we frequent. There were 9 of us total. Our bill came to about $280 with tax and an automatic 18% gratuity. I feel it was $280 down the drain. Not one of us was impressed by our food and we had quite a variety with 9 people. The service was good, can't complain about the server, just the food. I personally will not return as the food just wasn't worth coming back to eat. My son even left 1/2 of his shrimp po-boy by accident and when he got home he said he probably would not have ate the leftovers anyway, it wasn't that good. My favorite boil I've gotten so far! The sauce was actual sauce and not runny butter, it wasn't in a bag but in a basket so it was easier for me to get to the food, and the fry appetizer was amazing! Our waitress, Amanda, was great. The kids menu was a little deceiving, though, we ordered Mac n cheese and fries and a corn dog and fries and they both came out like the main dish was fries and it was a side of Mac n cheese and a side of corn dogs (they were 4 mini corn dogs instead of a big corn dog). The crab clusters were small, very dry and had been over cooked which meant the meat was hard to come out of the shell. The corn on cob was old and dry. The red beans and rice was sweet. My husband had the crawfish etouffee which looked NOTHING like their picture. The rice was mixed with the etouffee and the rue was thick like gravy. The sausage was dried out as well.
