I really liked the smoked beans and cobbler! Everything was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. All of the meats were flavorful, juicy, and tender. The CS tacos were good, and I highly recommend getting the pulled pork to go with them. The prime beef rib was the standout for me. They only offer it on Saturdays, so definitely get it if you're there. The staff was friendly and attentive. Despite being busy, they checked on us frequently and even helped clear our table multiple times. The crust/bark was also so flavorful without being too much and I'm glad it wasn't just a hard layer of black pepper that was hard to crunch through. I'm also not really a coleslaw type of person, but their sweet & spicy coleslaw was the best I've ever had. I wolfed that down and would definitely get it again! We all need more fiber in our diet anyway and thankfully this is a painless way to do it (unless you can't handle the touch of spice I suppose). It's a tad spicy due to the cayenne. The banana pudding is very interesting and definitely homemade. It has a caramel swirl and broken chocolate pieces sprinkled on the top. This was my favorite part of the meal, but it's also very sweet. The owner let me know that they smoke the bananas and the sea salt which goes on top.
