We had a wonderful dinner at Bayberry. It was an early dinner and the restaurant was empty, which worried us, but there was no need to worry. The space is nicely decorated and we sat at a table at the front window. Service was very attentive and the food was excellent! The calamari appetizer and tuna crudo were excellent, as was the bread. One of the best calamari dishes I've had. Main dishes were also excellent, everyone loved what they had. I had the bolognese, excellent flavor and nice homemade noodles. Highly recommend this place!

We had our engagement party at Bayberry and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was so attentive and made everything run smoothly, and the food was incredible, our guests are still talking about it. The ambiance was beautiful and perfect for a celebration. They even brought in Stella for our party when they don't normally stock it, which was such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated by our guests. My parents loved it so much they went back the following weekend for dinner. Highly recommend Bayberry for events or a great night out!

What can I say about Bayberry..so over the last two ish years I've become a regular patron at Bayberry and become very friendly with Laura the General Manager who has always welcome myself and all of my guests with open arms. Last night I attended Bayberry's, by invitation only 3rd Birthday party which was amazing! Laura had just the right amount of decor, party favors on the bar. Delicious complimentary trays of hors d'oeuvres that were non stop, some that I've previously had on the menu and some new. Craft cocktails which were half price as part of their happy hour as well as the premier of their seafood boil. The staff is always so welcoming and the attention to detail is impeccable. Kudos to Laura and Bayberry for throwing an epic event. Brava!

Stopped by this place for happy hour -- the drinks were really good! They have some interesting and creative cocktails. Not sure if they were short-staffed, but the bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed. We ordered oysters, which were shucked perfectly, but then had to wait over 20 minutes for utensils so we could add the horseradish and cocktail sauce. Hopefully it was just an off day, because I'd definitely stop by again for the drinks.

I've been eager to try Bayberry since they opened, and I finally made it there! The ambience was fantastic, creating a vibrant atmosphere and the service was top-notch, even though the place was packed. I had made a reservation for 8:30 and was seated right away, which was great. The drink menu featured a wide variety of martinis, making it hard to choose! For appetizers, I decided on the French onion soup, chickpea fries, and the spinach and artichoke dip. I also ordered the pork chop Milanese as my main dish. Everything was delicious! One slight downside was that the spinach and artichoke dip could have used more pita; we ended up with quite a bit of leftover dip, which was a shame because it was so tasty. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back soon to try more from their menu!

we had my daughter's bridal shower at Bayberry last week and it was fabulous! Melissa did a wonderful job organizing everything and offering helpful suggestions as well as being very accessible to reach and work with... The venue was beautiful. The service was impeccable and the food was out of this world. I recommend this venue for whatever event you may be planning. They can accommodate a small group or a large group whatever you need. Kudos to the Lessings and to Bayberry.

Went for New Year's Eve and did not disappoint. Always delicious food and very friendly staff. We have come here two years in a row for their Mother's Day brunch as well. Definitely recommend.

Went her for my sister's birthday. The food was great, the place was spotless, and our waiter was so polite (I wish I got her name). I was surprised how empty it was. Maybe it was just that specific day. I will say the lighting was a bit dark for an early afternoon, but that didn't bother me. I'll definitely be returning

What a change from when it was Maxwells! Bayberry is fresh and new and has a nice ambiance. Came with my best friend to enjoy happy hour followed by dinner. I love that their happy hour is from 4-7 as it gives you a chance to make it there after work. The cocktails were delicious, I really enjoyed the bacon me crazy, it was a well balanced and I will definitely order it again. The service was great and the Parker rolls along with the caramelized onion butter is a must have! The Peking Duck Tacos were really good and a great appetizer. For my main course I went with the Pork Chop Milanese and it was delicious. It was a huge portion and I definitely had a doggie bag because I always save room for dessert. For dessert, I went with the Tahitain Vanilla Crème Brûlée which was worth saving room for! Overall, I will be back here and I have recommended it to friends and family as well.

Awesome time at the bar at Bayberry for some Happy Hour drinks and enjoying the prix fixe lunch menu. Jade at the bar was amazing, attentive, friendly and funny. We watched him prepping some serious looking cocktails for Valentine's Day. My wife had her regular go tos - French onion soup and Bayberry Chicken. I went with the goat cheese Salad and Seafood stack - both were delicious and left me feeling full and healthy. Drink prices for Happy Hour can't be beat either!

Visited for brunch this was my husband and I first time. Food was delicious ordered the duck tacos for appetizer, the pancake for entree. My husband order the chicken and waffles. For drinks I ordered a Bellini which was delicious and my husband ordered the strawberry spritz he didn't love the drink. On the menu it stated puréed strawberry however this was not included In the drink. The service was a bit slow received our appetizer before we received the drinks. When brought to the waiters attention she immediately made the drinks and took 10% off the bill. It is a nice place with beautiful ambiance. We will definitely return again and try dinner.

Bayberry has been on my Restaurant Week list for many years. This time, their menu was a must do. Made a reservation through their website for a Sunday evening. The storefront seemed quaint, almost passable but once inside, it was enormous! Beautifully decorated and smelled clean, like fresh soap. The hostess was a doll and asked where in the restaurant we would prefer to sit. We chose the dining room to the left rear. Kailey was our server, nice, professional and accommodating. We had already perused the menu prior to our arrival and but decided to get drinks. I had their Bold & Brash, which sounded good on paper but was way too strong! My friend had a glass of Malbec. Our shared our appetizers, the Peking duck tacos were so savory, sweet and crunchy. I wish a had a whole plate of them! We also shared the Pear, Rocket & Quinoa salad, which as a beautiful portion of deliciousness! My friend ordered the salmon, paella style, which was tasty but not cooked enough for me. It was dressed so nicely too. I had the swordfish and it has to be one of my new favorite dishes! Cooked to perfection, I cleaned my plate! They were out of creme brulee which made us sad but we opted for the blueberry tres leches cake which was surprisingly very, very good, considering I'm not a blueberry fan. We also had the flourless chocolate cake which was tasty as well. I can't wait for the next Restaurant Week menu!

5+++++++ Excellent!…read more Highest recommendation! Superior experience! Fantastic premium craft cocktails prepared in front of us by an expert mixologists! Shout out to Mixologists Charlie! Excellent job!! We sat at the bar for lunch and the Executive Chef greeted us and engaged us in conversation about the menu! We learned about his favorite dishes and how he locally sources premium oysters directly from oyster farmers! He knew them by name! Wow! Can you say "farm to table" fast enough! Nothing better than knowing the source! A++++ on sourcing local fresh products and engaging customers! Way to show you are passionate and dedicated to providing the best experience! We had fried olives, quite good and unique! Served in a Martini glass with some dipping sauce. A must try! A great accompaniment to one of their craft martinis! We also had the spicy tuna app. That was very good as well. Beautifully plated, flavorful and Asian-Fusion style. Recommended! We split a classic French Dip Sandwich, The bread was perfect! No skipping there! Classic French Baguette, slightly crispy crunch and perfect interior to soak up the right amount of the French Dip without becoming soggy! It also has horse radish dipping sauce on the side! Mmmmm! It had caramelized onions beautifully sliced slow cooked flavorful rib eye! All the right flavors! Probably one of the best French Dips around! Oh I gotta mention the thick crinkle cut chips! So many places fumble by putting just any commercially available fries or starch on the side of the plate. No fumbles at Magnolias! Seems they hand cut thick crinkle cut chips and fried them perfectly so the outside was crisp and the thick inside was soft and tender! Perfect!!! My Martini was a "Caprese Martini". Mozzarella fat washed, with mild olive oil and Basil flavors. Made right in front of us! Served chilled! Garnished with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato! Um perfect! Oh, forgot to mention, they have a super price fix lunch menu! Hard to beat! We will return again and again! After this experience, Magnolias is now on our list as one of our favorite South Shore spots! Cant wait to return! Highly recommended! Great Martinis! Fabulous eclectic tapas style menu! Better late than never with this backdated review--life has just been lifing!…read moreI finally made it to Artemis on July 22nd after fiending to go since January. There's actually a hilarious story behind why I went. I was originally supposed to have a date that night, but let's be real: you'd think a 61-year-old man would know better than to take a 47-year-old woman to Dave & Buster's. I canceled the night before, dolled myself up the day of, and decided to take myself out instead. Best decision ever. The joint is dimly lit. But your eyes wind up adjusting. It's got a great vibe. Definitely excellent for a date night. The bartenders here are absolute rockstars. I started with a Painkiller. Even though it's no longer on the menu, they whipped it up for me anyway--and hey, it definitely relieved my pain, lol! Next, I tried a Corpse Reviver just because it had absinthe in it. It was different, but I really enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to finish with my signature drink, a Cosmopolitan, because I am the Black Carrie Bradshaw of Long Island. And it did not disappoint. The eats: I got the charcuterie board--fancy and bougie, just like me--and wrapped up the night with the brownie à la mode for dessert. Drowning my troubles in sweets is a must when the Long Island dating pool is an absolute wasteland, lmao. Did I want to spend my night around teenagers, kids, and skee-ball? HELL NO! I wanted a grown-and-sexy speakeasy vibe, and Artemis delivered. 5/5 stars--would 100% recommend!

Artemis is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a great ambiance, and our waitress was friendly,…read moreattentive, and did a good job taking care of us. Unfortunately, the overall experience was mixed. The two-hour table limit felt unnecessarily restrictive, especially for a group of eight. We were split into two separate areas of the restaurant, and there didn't seem to be much willingness to accommodate us so we could sit together. The person checking us in was not particularly welcoming, which didn't make the best first impression. What really left a bad taste, though, was the manager's explanation that the two-hour limit is necessary because "turning tables" is how the restaurant makes money. While I understand the business reasoning, hearing it explained that way made the experience feel more transactional than hospitable. The biggest issue is that the time limit actually worked against the restaurant. Rather than staying for another drink and continuing our evening there, we ended up going somewhere else. For me, that defeats the purpose of creating a nice atmosphere if guests are being encouraged to leave before they're ready. Beautiful restaurant, good service from our waitress, but the rigid seating policy and the way it was handled would make me think twice about returning.

Thin crisp crust, thinly sliced squas, sausage, cheese and a drizzle of fig glaze. A perfectly composed fall dish. Everyone else enjoyed their meals (spaghetti & meatballs, veal parm, chicken française, and spaghetti with seafood.) We shared two desserts - tiramisu was just as I like it, moist but not wet with all the flavors melding into something greater than their individual parts. The tricolor cake was a slice of rainbow cookie, dense and decadent. Our server Michaela was charming and efficient. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed. Overall, a five star experience.
