This is the local bagel spot we tend to frequent when we are looking for a quick and simple breakfast. My rating is based on the general bagel options in Burlingame/San Mateo area, so keep that in mind. Their selection of bagels is pretty good, cream cheeses as well, and breakfast sandwich options too. Not a ton of tables to eat at, just the counter by the front window inside and a couple of tables outside, but we've never really struggled to find a spot to quickly eat our sandwiches. Pros: Quick, good bagels and breakfast sandwiches right off of Burlingame Ave Cons: It's quite warm inside every time we go, so we tend to eat outside

Decent bagel store that has a lot of options or create your own. Small local business near the downtown. It is older and looks a little run down.

Bagel tasted delicious. Service was quick I placed an order through the website. It's like a mom and pop bagel shop in Burlingame.

We came here on a weekend morning and beat the rush, sort of. We called to place our order around 8:30 am but they were already out of everything bagels. However when we got there it was just before a rush of people. They did have whole wheat everything, which I tried, and it was fine. The bagel tasted a little more like bread with spices on the them. They were small and missing the softness of a bagel on the inside and the crunch of the bagel on the outside. But otherwise the everything spices were pretty on point. The egg in their breakfast sandwiches was pretty good, and they were pretty generous with their bacon, almost too generous. We ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel, and egg and cheese on whole wheat everything, and a garlic bagel with cream cheese -- at a little over $26, it was on the pricier side. Overall we thought the bagels were fine but it's not our favorite bagel place.

Accidentally stumbled on this place and glad we did. Their toasted bagels with schemers hit the spot. Loved the traditional sesame, and was surprised how good the toasted jalapeño with jalapeño cream cheese was. Even my picky teen liked it.

I'm not sure if I like the glass display. They used to stay warmer in the baskets. Now they don't stay as warm in the glass display. I still love their bagels with butter or cream cheese!!! I would eat their bagels every day if I could. Sometimes, I get the day old bagels and just pop them in the microwave with some drinking water on the bottom of the plate to make it softer.

Lots of nice bagel options. Huge menu with helpful pictures and descriptions. Nothing particularly aesthetic about the place - very straight forward. The counter service was pretty slow but the wait for our food was alright. The bagel sandwiches we got were just okay. The bagel could've been toasted, and the egg inside could've used seasoning. Paid nearly $10 for a mediocre bagel sandwich I could've made at home. 3.4/5 overall

Went on a late Saturday afternoon, an hour before closing, and they had a few Dutch Crunch bread available. There's street parking in front of the shop but if you turn right a little past the shop, you can take a gamble at street parking. Walking into the store felt so homey. There's a bunch of antiques and that gave me such a warm welcome. There were about 3 people working so it took a little bit for them to get through the line. We ordered 2 sandwiches and it came out to be about $26. Parma (9/10): I wish there was more of a crunch in the bread but everything tasted so fresh. This was one of my favorite sandwiches I've had in a while. Tuna Salad (9/10): The tuna salad was super fresh tasting. We had to bring it back to-go because it was close to their closing time so the bottom bread did get a little soggy. This was a definite come back if I'm ever in the area again.

I got a custom veggie sandwich with all of the offered sauces, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, etc., provolone cheese, and avocado on Dutch crunch bread. I wasn't sure if their premade sandwiches were better than what I came up with, but my boyfriend got the Victoria sandwich and also thought our favorite sandwich chain's offerings were better. Not a bad stop, but I would probably not return again in favor of trying something new. The decor has a lot of stuff about war and it feels a little cramped in there. I think most people that I saw got their orders to go.

For my first visit, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was okay -- not bad, but not something that really stood out to me. To be fair, I honestly think I may have ordered the wrong item. After seeing some of the other dishes coming out, especially the raviolis, I realized that's probably what I should have tried. The ravioli plates looked fresh, well-portioned, and really appetizing. Next time, I'm definitely going that route. One thing I have to say -- the bread was hands down delicious. It tasted very fresh and had great texture. That was actually one of the highlights of the meal for me. You can tell they care about quality ingredients. Beyond the food, the overall experience was very positive. The customer service was great -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming, especially for it being my first time there. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. The location is convenient, and parking was easy, which is always a plus in this area. Even though the pulled pork sandwich just wasn't what I was personally feeling that day, I'm not knocking the place at all. Everything else about the experience was solid. I'm definitely willing to give it another shot, and I can easily see how this could be a 4- or 5-star place depending on what you order. For this visit, I'd give it 4 star based on my specific dish, but overall I'm leaving with a positive impression and will be back to try the ravioli next time I'm in the area.

Went for lunch and got the two highest-rated items on the menu: California Love (mesquite smoked turkey, bacon, and avocado with the works) and Soprano (hot capocollo, Genoa salami, mortadella with pistachios, and balsamic glaze with the works). These are BIG sandwiches. And they're juicyyy. I like a wet sandwich and this delivered perfectly. The bread holds up, the ingredients are quality, and everything just works together well. The workers here are lovely, nice, and quick with the service. It's a simple little spot that doesn't need to do anything fancy because they're nailing the fundamentals. For the size and quality of these sandwiches, the value is excellent. You're getting a filling, well made sandwich that actually tastes good, not just big for the sake of being big. Honestly one of the best sandwich spots in the area. If you're looking for a solid deli sandwich that won't disappoint, this is your place. Simple, quality, and consistent.
