I'll start by saying that Doc's Bagels has great-quality food, and the bagels are excellent. Unfortunately, the customer service has been a completely different experience. The woman behind the counter has been consistently impatient and rude. There was no "Hello, how can I help you?" and not even a simple "Thank you." She came across as annoyed from the moment I walked in. This wasn't a one-time experience--it's now the third time I've been helped by her, and each visit has been the same. I can always count on a good bagel from Doc's! I've been coming here for years. My favorite is the jalapeño cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese ($6.45). There is an additional $1.50 charge for "premium flavors". A regular bagel flavor with plain cc is $4.95. Still seems reasonable. There is a small amount of indoor and partially outdoor seating. We got bagels this morning for work from Doc's and WOW. There are a lot of trendy bagels shops around SF, but this bagel from Belmont is incredible. I got the egg bagel, toasted, added the sun-dried tomato cream cheese. The bagel was crispy on the edge and soooo pillow soft in the middle. I wish I could eat 10. The size and quality of the bagels are awesome. I ate the bagel and immediately wrote this review- doc's is def a hidden gem for a quality bagel. I like the cheese bagels for making breakfast sandwiches at home. Good lox bagel. Maybe a little too much veggie in my opinion (like onion, cucumber, tomato). Flavor is not bad though. Very satisfying when I am craving a new york vibe. Doc's makes a great schmear. I'm going to try all of them eventually, as I keep going back to my faves. Save your money and go somewhere else. If you're getting a bagel with egg - they add zero salt, so it's bland and worst part is they throw it in the microwave instead of making it fresh so it comes out so soggy. Definitely not worth the $9 they charge. Disappointing for sure. read more

Every Sunday we come here. It's a local Bagel place with all the locals. Most ppl stop here to do a one stop food and drinks before taking their kids to soccer practice or game right across the Ralston to the community park. I like their turkey deli sandwiches but that's where the one negative star comes in. They give you about three slices of turkey and that's about it. I usually don't eat that much of turkey but I like to give it to my dogs that waits in the car or at home. They got a lot of selections and they are easy to make an order with. Phone orders sometimes works and sometimes they don't pick up just FYI. Everything so far they are on point. Their employees are good but I think extra friendliness ain't going to hurt anyone. I ordered a bagel sandwich with bacon, avocado, egg, and cream cheese in that exact order. The lady confirmed and read it back to me. It came out pretty fast and which I was surprised. I checked my bagel to see that the order was right. I see my egg is missing I then tell the cashier lady that there is no egg. She proceeds to argue saying I didn't tell her egg and she didn't charge me for it. I asked how much was an egg she says that she has to cancel the transaction and see how much to charge me. She then tell me the egg is 3 dollars. I can buy half a dozen eggs for 3 dollars. Make sure your order is correct and you repeat it multiple times. Service was very poor. read more

Just your typical bagel shop. Came here with a group of people because we were hungry and looking for breakfast foods and we found this bagel shop when we got lost from exploring the area. This shop has your standard bagels, nothing too special. You can either get just a bagel or you can get a sandwich bagel with eggs, sausage, tomato, cheese, a bunch of stuff. The space is pretty small, there are a few tables inside and a few tables outside but it gets really crowded when a line forms.
