Just brought my IS 250 in to Battery Mart yesterday. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the entire transaction. We were in & out within 10 minutes. I pulled right into the bay and didn't even have to leave my car until I settled the bill. I should also note that the bay itself was exceptionally clean and well-organized, showing off the batteries offered in a pleasing manner. With tax, I spent $97 for one of Battery Mart's proprietary batteries, which I would consider to be an excellent deal. We did bring my other half's car in later in the day. However, as his car requires additional labor to actually reach the battery, Battery Mart was unable to assist with that. However, as that battery situation is exceptional, I would still highly recommend Battery Mart for most standard battery needs. read more

I've brought in almost every car I've owned for the last 15 years here for batteries. Quick and friendly service. Prices about the same as if you were to do it yourself. And you'll avoid the hassle of disposing of the old battery. read more

Drove up and received excellent customer service. He checked the battery, confirmed I needed a new battery and put in a new battery. Such a pleasant experience, in-&-out all within 5 minutes. Great price and 5 yr warranty. read more

Over the past 10 years I have bought several batteries for our family fleet of aging Hondas. It's always the same process. You drive in and pop the hood. Don, the owner, immediately checks the battery and within three minutes you find out if that's what you need. If it's not, he'll give you a referral to get your alternator fixed, or make a suggestion about other problems. If it is, he'll give you some choices and within ten minutes you're out the door and on your way, wondering why other businesses you patronize can't run this way. I really like this company. read more

If you're looking for fast, knowledgable and honest service, look no further than the Battery Mart in Costa Mesa. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for 5+ years and have always been impressed with not just the great battery service, but the genuinely friendly and helpful attitude of the owner, Don. He is a great guy, and will tell you what you need to know-- and do whatever he can to help. Prices are great, service is excellent. Great location, just off the 55 fwy. They do automotive as well as boat battery service. Forget the corporate digs and support good old fashioned local business! Battery Mart will not only fix your car/boat battery issues, but you'll get a nice dose of nostalgia for that bygone era when mechanics were mechanics and service and honesty were king. I guarantee you'll leave satisfied and impressed-- I always do! read more

Battery Mart - My bionic cheetah getting a new battery - Battery Stores Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Fast, efficient, and no fuss. My old car battery was dying in Nov 2018, and following Yelp recommendations, I got a brand new one from Battery Mart. I was in and out in less than 15min. Fast forward to today (Feb 8), my battery couldn't start anymore. After jump starting my car, I took it to Battery Mart, and they asked me to have the car running for 2 hours to try to charge it. When they discovered the battery still couldn't hold sufficient charge after, they replaced it free of charge. (No pun intended) Highly recommend! read more

Got the battery in and out. They can put you on the honor system with returning your core battery. Even though I didn't take out my core first it was quick and easy. They sure have a lot of batteries and they are friendly. Got my interstate battery . In and out less than 2 minutes read more

Great one stop shopping for battery needs. Excellent prices, easy to find and very friendly staff and owner. They definitely know their products! Thanks for the great service! read more

This shop is my go to for any and all battery needs! The best prices around and they'll even install the battery for you if you can make it into the shop! AAA wanted $375 since by big diesel needs two batteries. Battery Mart sold and installed them both for under $220! In and out in 20-30 mins. Tip their technician a few bucks. He's a cool dude! Thanks Battery Mary! read more

This place was awesome! They had the battery for our Tiguan in stock and at a great price with warranty. By the time we paid for the battery it had already been installed. Service was amazing. Our little guy got some yummy popcorn!! We will definitely be repeat customers. read more

Been coming here for car / boat batteries for 20+ years. The owner couldn't be more down to earth. Prices are competitive (if not better) than most others, and you can literally pull right in and have your battery test/swapped out in less than 5-10 mins. No brainer to go anywhere else. read more

Went there today. Got a new battery for my 2015 acura mdx. It was only $100. They have their own brand of batteries that is of the same quality as brands like Interstate, but cheaper. Go here you won't be disappointed. They even installed and took my old battery for me. read more

Worked with Don, tested my battery and recommended a new battery installed it and away I went. Will come back here again.

Quick service, easy & affordable prices! Literally took less than 5 minutes to get a new battery. Support your local small business.

I thought this place was great when I purchased both batteries from them. But now that I have a bad battery and they are refusing to honor the warranty, my opinion has changed. They will say the problem is something else altetnator, or others don't know what they are doing instead of having the integrity to honor the warranty they offer. By the alternator is fine, the battery is dead. read more

Excellent service! My battery size (H6) was $99 plus tax. Installation included. I was literally out the door with a new installed battery within 5 minutes. 5 yr warranty. Support your local small independent business. read more

Less than 15 minute turn around! I first called to check their availability and sweet old man told me to come right on in. I pulled into the garage and he took over from there. Same guy from the phone switched out my battery and billed me a decent price - all under 15 minutes! They've been in business over 30 years and my dad was the one who suggested me go after we jumped my car. 100% suggest going here right after you jump your car for an easy and affordable fix vs. calling a service to come help you. read more

OMG This place is really the best place to go for a battery. I was there not even 10 minutes and every one was so nice and the price was perfect also. I definitely recommend this place if you need to replace your battery. I know that I'll always use them!!!! read more

I was having all sorts of problems with a Harley battery that wouldn't crank my bike. The owner took the time to test my battery over the weekend and hook me up with what was needed. He takes pride in his shop and is the definition of customer service, you just don't get that with stores these days. He has my family's business and all my friends that ride too. Keep up the good work Sir. A+ read more

Believe the hype! I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Competitive prices with a bonus yelp discount (don't forget to mention it!). Grandpa/grandson tag team duo helped me out. Overall good experience. Thanks guys! read more

This place is awesome I bought a battery from here years ago for my Toyota Camry never had any problems with it except that the Camry sat for a long period of time so the battery eventually died because there's an alarm on it take it over here the other day hooked it up told me to take a few hours came back the next day said it was all mine and didn't even charge me anything for it would highly recommend coming here for your batteries also the cheapest place that I found a battery compared to the major Auto places. read more

They do one thing and they do it well. I know driving in that I'll be driving out with a new battery. Good to support local businesses too!

I just got home from this place and I HAD to write them a review. I called ahead to see how much for a new battery for my 2013 Nissan Rogue. O'Reilly auto parts was gonna charge me $50 more and without installation. I literally drove in, went to the counter to pay, and when I turned around the guy had already changed my battery! No joke! This dude was as quick as lightning! I stood there for a second kind of confused and thought he hadn't started yet but I asked to confirm and indeed it was already done. I am extremely satisfied and want to spread the good word to you folks so give them a shot if you're in need of a new battery. read more

I called Battery Mart today and the gentlemen gave me great money saving information. I had just gotten an oil change at Big O an they had me convinced my battery would die at any moment even though I've not been having problems with it etc. and they wanted to sell me a battery then and there without even asking me the age of the battery or anything. The gentleman at Battery Mart told me it is just a sales tactic and no one can make a prediction like that when you aren't even having problems. When I DO need a battery, I will be going to Battery Mart! read more

Quick, nice people, inexpensive. I usually go to Pep Boys for any car maintenance but my friend told me to look in Yelp. This place is close to my work and before I went in, I read the good reviews. Don was great! My experience matches the rest here. Battery Mart is now my go-to place for battery replacement. I've done them myself for years... but why? No need. Great experience! A way better battery than the box stores and auto parts stores at a much better price!

We've been going to Battery Mart, just off Newport Blvd., for almost 20 years and it's been fast, fast service at a good price. As other reviewers have said, you pull in, you get a fresh battery (with warranty), pay by credit card and drive away in about ten minutes. I have recommended many friends who have thanked me. [Edit Oct 27, 2018 I went back about two weeks ago. Same high level of service. The owner (Vietnam vet) still gets under the hood to check things] read more

Don and Tyler are the best!!! If you don't use Battery Mart your paying to much for inferior service!!!

I have used Don at Battery Mart for almost 20 years. Great prices and quick service. Once you pull down the driveway, Don is there to greet you. He usually has stock in whatever you want from Optima to Trojans, and loads it into your vehicle. Quick and very easy. I recently purchased 6 volts for my electric boat, instead of 8volts. My fault. Don exchanged my batteries and got me on my way in minutes. Can't say enough!! Thanks Don. read more

Amazing customer service. So good to know that there are still Mom and Pop businesses in America that specialize in good customer service and hard honest work. The man who owns and runs the place is always there, is very knowledgeable and probably one of the best humans I've ever met.
