We needed batteries for hubby's hearing aids. We were directed to what we needed in under a minute, and in another two were on our way. Two customer service attendants were there (one just returning from a break). We waited only seconds in line, because the guy returning from break assisted us as soon as he got behind the counter. And when a third lady entered the store, they told her they'd be right with her. They were with her in less than a minute. AMAZING customer service. I drove all the way from Santa Barbara to have my Volkswagen Touareg battery replaced which is a big deal since it is under the driver's seat. SB Volkswagen wanted to charge me $187 for the battery and $180 to put it in. Steve, the Batteries and Bulbs owner could not have been nicer. He was willing to do the installation for FREE. The battery is top of the line, I got to meet a great small business owner and all of his courteous staff plus I saved $200. Wake up car dealers and see what's happening out there. Been going to this place for years. Never had a problem until today. I was waiting in the parking lot for it to open. At 8 am I went in. No one was present. Someone then came out from the back and I asked for help. This boy (said his name was paul) rudely tells me "Can't you see we're not open." I told him the door was unlocked and it was 8 am. He the returned to the back of the store and ignored me. His tone was very disrespectful. I called corporate and paul told them I was there at 0750. He lied. I will never step foot in this store again. If they lie to corporate just think what they lie to the customers about. read more

I recently cracked my phone pretty badly and took it in to the store to get fixed, I was quoted and given a wait time, my phone was fixed, my boyfriend went and picked it up. When I got home I turned on my phone to the screen freezing and not working on most of the right side. I waited until the next day to go in after work and arrived at the store sound 6:00 PM. I was "helped" by a young man who didn't bother to look at my phone and tried telling me that the lines and problems on my screen were permanent and were a problem with the system. He also commented that a technician wasn't in and I would have to wait until tomorrow for anyone to look at it. (Ya ok) Anyways, I went back today because I really needed my phone fixed and the gentleman that greeted me when I walked in was so helpful and took my phone back to get look at immediately. Basically I'm giving this place 4 stars because you guys hired two super cool dudes who were willing to help me without hesitation, would have been 5 but idk, maybe I'm just being salty ? read more

Fantastic place. I may have not went in here on my own if not for my senior client. We've had flashlights fixed here. They have batteries for everything and watches too. The employees are very helpful. Marine batteries, lawnmower, cell phone etc. Good amount of employees also to help you find what you need. Small little store, but powerful. Pun intended. read more

Amazing! Two minutes to replace my watch battery and only cost $7.50 with tax! They also change out your battery for your car key as well! $5 flat. Not sure if id change my car battery with them bc i have aaa and they came straight to my house to change out the battery and they have a 6 year warranty which is hard to beat. Cant say ive researched much about car batteries though so would probably recommend this place if you didnt have aaa over a place like autozone. read more

What a great store with friendly, super helpful employees. Needed a replacement battery for my old Belkin battery backup, and they had the right one (was surprised), expected to hear I'd have to order one. Nope, popped out the old one and installed the new one, tested it, all A-ok. Then I handed him a black light that wasn't working. He took it apart, installed new batteries, checked the connections and adjusted the bulb, and got it working in about 3 min, smiled and handed it back to me. I was impressed. Of course the day before me and my family go on vacation our battery on our baby monitor decided to stop charging. After going to 2 different stores i came here and it was my last chance. The employees were very helpful and i'm so heartbroken that I did not get the name of the person that helped me but the battery i needed was not in stock but he made us a new battery!!!! I called around for inexpensive places to get watch batteries replaced for a week, before being recommended to this place by a friend. I thought they were only for car batteries, but they do pretty much every type of battery. They have a large selection of lightbulbs as well. I called and they said I could come in right then. They replaced 6 watch batteries in 20 minutes! I was very happy with the customer service, speed and professionalism. I will be back, and will recommend to my friends as well! read more
