There's snobby ass talk Red Head that works here that likes to put a limitation on the amount of times a courtesy service can be provided to someone she feels she sees too much. Her name is Alex in case you should know, unfortunately she believes she's a store manager. Other than that my encounter with other staff members has been pretty cordial. She goes into condescending snob mode when she disapproves of something. Try to avoid her. read more

The repair shop said the cable to the down volume button was severed and a repair would be very expensive... more than the phone was worth. They said it was a botched battery replacement that most likely caused the damage. Stay away from this place. read more

The bottom 1/4 inch of my iPhone 6S screen stopped responding (and I promptly found out just how important that was with many apps). I'd had the screen replaced prior and had a few "hot spots" that were pointed out to me. I put caution to the wind hoping that replacement of my screen would, in fact, solve the problem and it did! Hot spots are no longer an issue, and as of 15 hours after having the work completed I have not found a single issue. Service was friendly and professional, took about 20 minutes total to have the work completed. Will definitely use them again for whatever they might be able to service battery or device related. So I have a one year old that loves playing with my phone. He's been teething and wanted my phone case to chew on, so I gave it to him and he obliterated it. I'm super clumsy and I proceeded over the next couple of months to crack my screen pretty badly. I went here to get my screen fixed because of its good reviews on here, and they're well deserved! My boyfriend dropped my phone off and signed a form saying that they were not to look through my phone at all. It only took an hour or so and it looks amazing and brand new! When you book an appointment online they offer a $10 off coupon so I used that and it was about $105 to fix it, which I didn't think was bad at all! Super nice people and very professional. I ordered two new key fobs for my daughter's 2016 Mazda CX-5 GT. I was contacted that the fobs were available, and I proceeded to the Batteries and Bulbs store in Timonium, MD. A store salesperson then proceeded to show me the new fobs. One was a three-button fob pretty much identical to the one I currently have. The second was a four-button fob. I was informed that the four-button fob was all the store had left for my Mazda vehicle. So the store proceeded with the fob programming. The programming was completed within an hour. I completed the purchase and went to the vehicle with the new fobs. The vehicle would not start with any of the fobs. I had to go back into the store to inquire about this situation. The store worker went back to the vehicle with the fobs and managed to get the vehicle started. I then tested the fobs, and they appeared to work as required. I left the store and proceeded home. During the 25-mile trip back to my house, I noticed that a "keyless system malfunction" fault appeared in the vehicle instrument cluster. I could not return back to the Batteries and Bulb store at that point due to my daughter needing the vehicle back. I proceeded to attempt several techniques to eliminate the "keyless system malfunction" fault. One technique entailed disconnecting the battery for several hours. All attempts to eliminate the system fault failed. I called the Batteries and Bulbs store to ask about what needed to be done to get rid of the fault message. They replied that I needed to drive the vehicle back to the store to get the fobs reprogrammed. I then went a second time to the Batteries and Bulbs store. The store salesperson attempted to reprogram the fobs. It turns out the four-button fob was causing the "keyless system malfunction" fault and was deemed incompatible with the vehicle. A replacement key fob was not available in the store. I was informed that this needed to be ordered, and I would have to return a third time to get the second fob. I declined and received a refund for the second fob. This whole transaction was extremely frustrating considering it takes 45 minutes to travel between my home and the store. The correct key fobs should have been made available when I made the initial purchase. The "four-button fob may work" approach taken by the store was pretty horrific. What a bunch of ripoffs! One time visited there and bought rechargeable AA batteries that wouldn't take a charge, returned the next day unhappy ....they told me that they never sold those batteries. I showed the receipt and they still said they never sold that brand.....wth? Returned last week to buy battery for my keyfob on my car...told me $28.95 to replace it. I asked for one battery to replace it myself......they only sell two which makes no sense to me.....bought two for $11 and replaced it in 30 seconds....NEVER going back this place is a joke! read more

Pricing for all service repairs were clearly shown online. I was able to book an appointment online to receive $10 off iPhone 5 battery replacement service bring my cost to 49.99 before tax. Making it cheaper than my local iPhoneAid repair shop in Federal Hill. I had an appointment at 3PM, but arrived at 2PM. The locations repair schedule was open so they worked on my phone early. 20-30 minute wait time for the service. While we waited we were able to grab a sandwich next door at Miller's Deli to kill the time. I did end up driving 20 minutes out of my way, but it was worth it for the warranty on the work I had done. 6 months on their replacement service and 1 year on the battery itself. Much better than the local iPhoneAid shops "Take it to Apple" warranty. The 2 guys on staff today were easy to work with and friendly. I would recommend this franchise for any of your phone repair needs. read more

Took my iphone in for repair because my front facing camera was really foggy. Turns out it was just dust trapped under the glass screen. They did their thing, took it apart and cleaned it out and viola, works perfect. Was ready to spend a hundred dollars to get it fixed but they charged me almost nothing. I promised to leave a good review online as extra payment. I will definitely be bringing my devices back here in the future for any repairs!! read more

In that time frame, I got a call from the store saying that my screen didn't need to be replaced because it was just the screen protector that was cracked. I dropped my two year old Samsung 4 on a tile floor which cracked the glass and destroyed the screen. I had it fixed at the Timonium store for $99 and was happy with the repair when I left. Several days later I noticed a hairline crack in the lower right corner and today another crack at the top. I took the phone to the store last night (one week later) and asked the manager to replace the glass. He stated the glass and screen are one unit and cracking from stress or being dropped is not covered. Note that I had the phone in an Otter Box for 2 years but unfortunately not when I dropped it. I put it back in the box after the repair. The box does not completely surround the screen so there is no way the Otter Box caused the cracking. The manager told me the glass and screen are one unit and that he would replace it again for a discounted price of $70 (and that he was making nothing from the repair). I declined, and when I searched the internet for replacement glass I found it can be purchased for $4-$14 dollars and that I can replace it myself. The glass separates from the screen and the new glass is pressed in place. Sorry to say that the business does not stand by their repairs. The glass is either inferior and not a Samsung original product or the repair was not done as well as I thought. Either way, I will not be using the store again for phone repair since they did not stand by their work a week later. read more
