Julian, the manager and Tyler on staff were great to deal with. Battery on my wife's car went south 3 months before warranty replacement. Since I'm recovering from surgery, my wife did a self jump with a self jumping unit (which I have in both my truck and her cart as a just in case) and drove over to the store on Scottsdale road. I can't believe what just transpired. I bought a three year battery two years ago. I have had an issue with it where the battery does after a couple days of sitting. So, I brought it in. I was told that the battery was at 4v, and due to company policy they can't warranty a battery less than 10v, and a normal battery would never drop below 10v. Well, thats why we brought it in, something was wrong with it and it wont hold a charge. So anyway, please buy your batteries elsewhere. Probably the worst customer service experience in awhile. I needed a lithium battery for a dive light. The nice sales guy showed me what might work in my flashlight and said if it doesn't work to return the battery. He said here's a receipt but if the return is within 14 days you don't need the receipt or battery package. I said, in that case I'll buy 4. Unfortunately the battery did not work, it shut down right after the light was turned off. I also charged the other 3 batteries and none of them worked. Came back to the store 3 days later and was told by a different sales guy that what I was told was against policy. He also said reporting this could get the other sales guy fired. He kept cutting me off and was basically an arrogant jerk. I told him to have his manager call me and have received no call back. They told me they can't do nothing because it was over two years. they tested the loaner battery and said it was good. I put it back in the car had to jumpstart it again. Got a battery for my car from here about 16 months ago. died on me at the beginning of this month so I took it over since it was still under warranty. after being told that the battery had to be tested before a new one could be given to me and that it may not be done by the end of the day, I chose to buy a new one as I needed it asap and was confident that the battery I had brought in was dead. after not hearing anything from them for almost the whole month, I decided to head back in yesterday and see what was going on. as it turned out, the battery I brought in was in fact dead which they claimed they had called me multiple times about but i hadn't received any calls from them. the employees there at that time didn't know what could be done as compensation for me as I had already bought a new battery and thus didn't need a second one. they told me to come back when their manager was there the next morning, which I did. the manager, ryan, provided great customer service and gave me a full refund for the old battery plus extended my warranty for the new one by a year due to my troubles. while the customer service from all of the other employees I dealt with in this experience was far from satisfactory and they were all quite rude, especially the gentleman i dealt with at the beginning when i brought the old battery in, ryan was very nice and did an excellent job resolving the situation. read more

I went into the Batteries Plus store at 14202 Scottsdale RD. I needed a key fob battery replaced. The clerk- Isaac- asked for my fob and replaced the battery in 15 seconds. I told him I needed another battery for a fob at home and he said he wouldn't charge me an installation fee the second battery. THERE was NO sign to inform me there would be a fee for installing the battery. Isaac mouthed off- "you handed me the fob so you have to pay the fee". I asked him to replace the original and I would go purchase one at the grocery store. He put the battery in upside down. Of course it didn't work. When I went back in to the store Isaac told me he wouldn't help me because he didn't like my demeanor. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!!!! I came in yesterday morning to get a new a battery for my watch! My wife and I came in December and bought the lifetime battery replacement for my fossil watch and paid cash. When I came into the store there was no one behind the counter. I waited about 30 seconds and an employee came out from the side office[Brian I think]. I told him I needed a new battery for my watch and that I had boughten the lifetime battery for my watch. He quickly replied" I have to look it up on the computer " he asked for my phone number and I gave it to him and he responded with" I don't have anything under that phone number" I said well that's the number it should be under, the battery in my watch has your L marking on my battery and it's one of yours. He replied that he can't change it if it's not in the computer in a condescending tone and stared at me. I said well I know I bought it here in December and again in a condescending tone he said" you got a receipt?" I said no I don't! It should be under my phone number. He asked my name and I gave it to him and sure enough he found it and it was attached to my number that I originally gave him. He then printed off 2 receipts and literally flung that at me from the printer and said " well it looks like you bought the lifetime battery and returned it 7 minutes later" on an aggressive manner like I was lucky he was still talking to me. He basically called me a liar and looked at me like I was a thief . Told me he couldn't do anything for me because his manger wouldn't be back for an hour. At this point I'd had enough of his attitude and aggressive behavior. I told him not to bother putting my watch back together and felt like he wanted to hit me. So I went to the Batteries Plus on Scottsdale Rd & T-bird. They were friendly and fast. They said it would be about 30 minutes. They had replaced the the battery and said the charge port just needed clean which no charge. They said they could fix and drove all the way over there only to have them say they didn't have a MacBook and something I could do myself. I got the sense they weren't that equipped to manage iPhone fixes despite their advertising. I wouldn't waste your time if that's what you need. Batteries on the other hand, they had tons. The bogus reply about the phone being disabled due to too many attempts is disappointing. It was only disabled for 5 minutes before you log back in.
