This is a review of Batch's delivery service through Eat24 ONLY. I've been to Batch a few times and the food is excellent. However, the delivery service was awful. My apartment is two blocks away so I will get takeout next time, because the delivery service was inept. Most importantly, the food clearly was cooked a half hour before it was delivered, so my hamburger bun was soaked from the toppings, and my French fries were steamed out, slimy and gross. Not sure how you charge $23 for a burger and a delivery charge on top of that and screw that up so badly. On top of that, instead of coming to the main entrance, the delivery guy came to the back entrance where there is no one to let him up, and started calling me to have a chat with me in Spanish, which is pretty ineffective with me :). Stick to walk-ins with this restaurant. I do want to add though that management called me right after I posted this review, apologizing and pledging to make it right. It sounds like the issue is more a disconnect with Eat24. Again just want to re-iterate that Batch is great for walk-in dining or for a few drinks, as they have tons of TVs, homemade beers and other fun libations as well as delicious and creative food. read more

BEST place in Brickell. Off on a side street but it's worth the trip, the place feels like home and is what the area was missing. The food is off the chain, its a real gastropub not one of the fake ones with crappy bar food. They have some crazy cool drinks and serve cocktails on tap! Best part is they have taps at tables, I was sipping on patron from a faucet while watching the heat on some big screens and nomming on some duck French toast. 6 stars, bravo Batch! read more

Great place to hang out with friends on the weekend or go for dinner. This pub has a wonderful menu of bar food as well as entrees and dessert. The drink menu is quite extensive with many delicious specialty cocktails, mixed drinks, and beer. Would definitely recommend coming here with friends before a night out! read more

I loved Batch! Great food and a fun atmosphere. We went for bottomless brunch this weekend ($20 for unlimited mimosas, bellinis, or sangria - not including an entree) but had to deduct a star for slow service and just how loud the place was from the music - not live, just blasting from their speakers. Drinks took at least ten minutes after we placed each order although they were served from one of the many ready made pitchers behind the bar and we could barely hear each other across the table. Towards the end of brunch, we were probably close to screaming our conversation. But that said, it was still a positive experience and I'd go back for the food. I ordered the baja avacado hash and it was amaaaazing but a friend ordered their Carolina Hash and I am definitely going back for it because oh my damn, I wish I had a picture for ya'll. read more

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning with friends...big mistake for it being one of the Saturdays during the FIFA World Cup. Little did we know most people there were only there to have a few drinks and watch the game. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the atmosphere, but the service was horrible and the food was almost as bad. After placing our order, we had to remind our server about our drinks order 15 min later (no exaggeration). Our coffees came out lukewarm and I had to request for HOT coffee, but only after our server returned 15 minutes later. She refilled our coffees... with more lukewarm coffee. Does their regular clientele like coffee at this temperature? Hmmm maybe it's the way it's served here because the weather in Miami is so hot already! I brushed it off since it was just a drink. I was actually rather excited to dig in to my brunch...donut batter waffles with pork belly slabs...whenever it would come. We waited and waited and watched the tables to our left and right receive their food and even desserts and ours still didn't come. Our server kept saying our food was on the way, "few more minutes" or something along the lines of "sorry it's taking so long, it's just that the kitchen is so busy because of the game." Our food finally did arrive SIXTY-FIVE minutes after placing our order (no exaggeration). Well 3 of the 4 entrees came together. My waffle and pork belly would have been more enjoyable had they not been cold. Same for the other 2 entrees. Funny that they were taking SO long because the kitchen was backed up, and the food tasted like it had been made 30 minutes prior. The last plate came - cornbread Benedict - and was hot! WOOHOO! Except barely edible because it was just way too salty. That plate alone would probably shoot someone's blood pressure high into the sky. Back to the coffee, our server said she was brewing a new pot for us. She refilled our mugs, and what do ya know? Barely warm coffee. Hmmm...So maybe there's a problem with their coffee maker. Seemed like an excessively long and unpleasant experience. I just wanted to get out of there. My friend did get a hold of the manager, Flynn, who spilled the beans that our server had forgotten about our order, then only sent in part of our order to the kitchen, etc. He did invite us to return for apps and drinks on the house, but unlikely we'll return. Long story short: lukewarm coffee, cold waffles and pork belly, salty cornbread benedict, slow and dishonest service, nice manager but a little too late. read more

*Arrived an hour ago for brunch and I still haven't received my food.* Pardon my feistiness in this review. Okay, food is here. it's cold. Luckily my unlimited sangria was free because it's my birthday. I ordered the Drunken French toast, very subpar. I could literally eat the same exact thing at Denny's. My friend ordered an orange juice an hour ago and it still hasn't come out. Place isn't even that packed so I'm just confused. So much potential down the drain, especially with so many brunch options in the area. Just come for the bottomless drinks. Service was polite, but that gets cancelled out when you can't bring out a drink in 1 hour. The price is okay, only reason why it's not getting 2 stars. read more

We stay in a hotel nearby and didn't want to walk too far so we found this place and I'm glad we came here. Hubby got to watch one of the western conference nba games on the huge screens while enjoying his yummi fish tacos (wish I had ordered them too), and I ordered the huge mushroom goat cheese pizza (ok it was pretty good so maybe I'm just greedy when talking about how I wanted his tacos too lol - hey, I'm pregnant. Don't blame me!) The service was nice and we were seated outside. It didn't take them long to brin out the food and drinks. All in all a nice and casual athmosphere with good food. read more

Batch is a great restaurant if you choose to have food as well. I really can't give u a favorite because I love every item in the menu. The price is reasonably affordable for the portions and the atmosphere is great. There are numerous screens playing sports so a great location if you're a sports fanatic. Went here to celebrate my friend's birthday. There was about 20 of us. The pub is spacious and they were able to seat us all comfortably. There are big screens around the whole pub so where ever you sit you can get a good view of games. It was a nice chill relaxing atmosphere. Now on to the food. I had the roasted veggie pizza and it was a little different than other vegetable pizzas that I have had. To begin with this one had radishes. I myself luv radishes so I thought this was such a clever topping that I had never thought of putting on my pizza and it was so crunchy and tasty. It was also topped with spinach, artichoke corn and a fried egg on top. I opted for no pesto on mine. I was happy with my pizza. I also ordered the Spring Spinach Salad. It had spinach, apples, feta, rum soaked raisins and it was supposed to come with candied walnuts, but mine were just plain old walnuts :( I have to say the salad was not very good. It was a bit soggy and the dressing was a bit sour. I don't think I would get this dish here again. I also tried their Mac Attack with fried chicken and caramelized onions as per the waiters suggestion. The Mac Attack was delicious. My favorite was with the caramelized onions, I didn't care much for the fried chicken but then again I am not much of a fried chicken luver. You can get the Mac Attack with several different topping choices. Overall we had a great experience. read more

Noticed this place on my Yelp map as I try to better understand the Mary Brickell neighborhood better. Lot's of choices to choose from. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat after a Marlins game, recently. Soccer was the primary focus on TV as I grabbed a seat at the bar on a Sunday afternoon. I had a skewer appetizer that was a little too oiled down. It wasn't all that good. I ordered a Funky Buddha Floridian, which was pretty good. It was a safe choice as I mulled over my options. My Yelp check-in enabled me to sample a couple of other beers that the bartender recommended to me. The first visit was uneventful if not forgettable. I'll need to visit a couple of more time to get a true sense of this place. But, it's more on me to gather more intel. Meanwhile, the verdict is still out. read more

Had a mishap with one of their hostesses on the phone about delivery areas and time Thor delivery closed which made me go to bed hungry I was not planning on being a return customer even though I order here often. But I got a call back from batch. Spoke to the manager Michael very nice lady, wanted to hear "my side" of the story which i explained. Very apologetic and empathetic about what went down, explained that the person who answered me earlier was a new hostess and had misunderstood what she had been explained. Turns out Michael was going to try and get the delivery out to me anyway but the delivery driver had already left at 2:30. She attempted to get ahold of him again while I was on the phone but no luck. I was offered a free burger for the next day Monday. So even though I'm a bit bummed that I'll be going to sleep hungry tonight I'm happy that I have that burger coming tomorrow. (Reply to previous review) While understanding your new protocols because of COVID-19, nowhere is it to be found that you have a late or cancellation policy. As a management team it is your responsibility to do so before you kick people out of your restaurant (yes, I use the statement kicked out because you reduced our 4 tables to 2 tables therefore half of our party had to leave). Secondly, your manager still did not have the right to treat us the way he did when we finally settled into our seating arrangements. While no one had helped us for 15 minutes , which we were completely understanding about since it was a busy night, the manager has the audacity to tell us if we are not ordering anything, we must leave (we had not been helped by a waitress so we obviously have no ordered yet). From a business perspective, If you are going to solve an issue, make sure to correct your facts and act with professionalism towards customers. read more

3.5 really -- great service, nice venue and atmosphere, but food was just "ok". Based on the Yelp reviews I was excited to try our Batch along with a couple of friends for the first time. The hubs and I had been meaning to try it out so at last the opportunity presented itself. The wines were reasonably priced and they had a good beer selection so we were off to a good start. The waitress was very attentive and explained the specials and have suggestions. I ordered the salad special with Serrano ham, heirloom tomatoes, cheese and watermelon, my husband ordered the southern burger special and we had the grilled octopus to share. The salad -- it should have been so much better. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful, but why would you fry the ham? It would have been so much better left alone. The salad in itself was so delicate and refreshing and then these bits of fried ham just didn't seem cohesive with the taste at all. The burger -- very generous with the fries. Good hearty bun. What was not ok by any means is that we ordered it medium and it came FULLY cooked. Please please please guys. Cool your meats properly! It ruins a burger experience entirely. My husband being the non confrontational person he is felt bad saying anything and tried to eat it. I eventually said something to the waitress because it was just seriously rubber. The octopus was perfection. For $13 it is very little food but to their defense it was cooked perfectly and the aji Amarillo sauce with the nuts was truly epic. Given the burger incident they did take 25% off of our bill which was a nice gesture. However, the overall food experience was not enough to get me wanting more. read more

Sunday brunch- it was aight. Bacon bourbon bloody was the highlight, but after one we were told the bar ran out?! Anyway, service was ok. We sat outside and the music volume was blaring loud. The food was ok- i got the very rich gnocchi mac n cheese, chicken and waffles- both good to share. I would have liked to see a substantial salad on the menu so there is an option with veggies or something fresh to accompany the dishes to cut the richness. Sunday brunch is busy but it was a hot mess waiting for drink refills and being 'upsold' on everything by the server. read more

Batch was pretty empty at lunchtime on a Friday as we saddled up to the bar. All the better for us, as we had just arrived in Miami for a long weekend and wanted to start vacation off right - with a cheeseburger and a beer. I like to start all my vacations off this way, after arriving in a new city. You can really get a feel for a place by its cheeseburgers and beer. Batch had some great craft beers on tap, both local and national. After a few samples and some recommendations from the friendly bartender, I settled on a 24th Street Brown Ale from J. Wakefield. Not my usual, but nice. As we were sipping our beers, the burgers came out. She had the Blackened Grouper Sliders, and they were really good. We had made a deal that I'd trade a quarter of my burger for one of her sliders, so I can guarantee that they're good option. However, after biting into the Prime Brisket Burger, I knew I'd gotten the raw end of that deal. This burger was seriously good - nice sear on the outside, pink in the middle, flavorful and juicy. This is a traditional burger; you're not going to find any new age toppings that some joints use to hide the quality of the meat. At Batch, the meat is king and it rules the burger. Before we left, our friendly bartender chatted with us about the local craft beer scene in Miami, and even recommended some other places to check out in Wynwood. I love getting tips from the locals. After such a great cheeseburger and beer experience, I knew Miami was going to make for a great vacation. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this place. I absolutely love the atmosphere. It has that New York hipster vibe that is unlike the Latin club atmospheres of most places in Brickell. This place could be in Wynwood and fit right in. Great to go if you are just going to hang out with some friends at night. You can even sit down too! A rarity for Brickell bars. However, their food is greatly overpriced, even for Brickell standards. The Mac and cheese in particular is delicious but at something like $14 per plate, I would need about 3 to fill me up as a meal. Not a good place to go for dinner. If you wanted a small snack with your drink, then fine, but you could go to a place like Morton's for that and pay less and get more food at the bar. And now the drinks, are also over priced with little bang for your buck. The premixed cocktails in the big canisters are disgusting so get something freshly made but again, for the price, the drinks are nothing special and you can pay the same price across the street at Blue Martini for a 3 shot delicious drink made with fresh raspberries. Basically, come here for the atmosphere and don't order anything. read more

Looking for a quick bite, yet with a trendy feel, Batch is the place. Located in Brickell where you will find a laid back feel and that rock/pop environment. It has a variety of one of kind house made cocktails and beer on tap right at your seat...talk about cool!!! I came to BATCH not knowing what to expect, but I love the fact the environment was trendy and full of people just having a great time. If you're coming for food, well, let's just say you may have a hard time, because everything looks so good. You can share or just pick a variety of appetizers and pair with your fav drink. It's a Simple menu yet infused with a variety of flavors to meet your taste buds! I chose the chargrilled octopus, absolutely well cooked and just right. Then, I had the beef skewers which was delish and finished off with an amazing cheesy margarita pizza hot out of the brick oven. If you're more of a health buff they have amazing and creative salads to satisfy your needs. P.S. The appetizers are a hit! read more

Back at Batch in hopes of having a better experience than last time , it was disappointing nonetheless. First time I was there for brunch, which was just ok. This time, I went for the happy hour. As soon as you walk through the door, there is a weird and distinct smell, very far from pleasant. The place was empty , yet we had to wait for someone to decide where we could be seated. We ordered the bruschetta for appetizer. the tomato on top was not fresh. Not sure if I would be willing to give another try , I've heard that for popular sports games it can be fun. After reading the reviews and hearing about this place from my friends , I was really excited to try this place. I haven't been to the Brickell area in a very long time. I mostly go out in the Wynwood area because I kind of got sick of the vibe in Brickell and how packed it can be on the weekends, which is why I was surprised to walk up to this place on a Saturday night, and it be relatively empty at 10 pm. The boy and I were hoping to have a nice dinner, as we have both been very busy lately, and I was excited to try this place as the menu kept popping up on my eat 24 and all the items sounded amazing. We walked in and around for a bit to check it out, and then located the hostess stand. We got to sit wherever, so we chose halfway between inside and outside, which was nice because the weather was perfect. I started to walk to the restroom and then a terrible smell hit me. It was really foul and it got worse the farther inside the restaurant I went. It was especially strong around the bar area, like they cleaned in a while or someone had vomited and they poured a bunch of bleach over it. I've worked in bars before and I understand that smell is just from lack of cleanliness and dirty cleaning supplies . The boy asked if I wanted to leave, but I was very hungry. We were already getting a late start on the evening so we decided to give it a chance anyway. Our server was really friendly sweet and she was very quick to take our drink orders and bring us water already had looked at the menu, so I just started ordering after she returned. If there's one thing my guy loves, its ribs. He was really excited when he saw them on the menu, but our server was pretty sure they were out, so she ran back to check and they wore out. Bummer. I ordered another couple items and she said she will bring them out as they come because we ordered a lot of things. Then she came back again and told us they were out of the succotash what she had actually recommended because the Thai salad I had asked about she said was not that great. Bummer again. I ordered many things based on other yelpers reviews but I have to say I was a little surprised at some of the prices for the small plates. We ordered meatballs, steak skewers, pork belly, Caesar salad, Yuca croquettas, Mac attack, pretzel bites with beer mustard, many Macallan 12 and many beers. The meatballs came first there were three meat meatballs and I have to say they were pretty delicious they were on a carrot puree and they fell apart with a fork. After those I had high hopes for the rest of the meal. The pretzel bites and salad came out next the pretzel bites were alright but nothing special for the price, seems like movie theater food. The salad was lame, and a waste of $8, I had a few bites and left it on the table. Then we waited. And waited. Luckily the meatballs and the pretzel bites had filled me up a little bit, but if I had of been very very hungry I would have gotten pissed at this point. Especially because there was so few people there and most people that were there were not ordering food, or if they were maybe just a burger. Then the yuca croquettes came out. Or should I say croqueta. As in 1 for $6 dollars. It was very sad on its own on a little plate and it was a Circular shape which was a little confusing. It was pretty bland and disappointing. Then we waited again. Sidebar: went to the restroom during the wait, and I thought I was alone until I heard a weird spitting sound and saw there was a girl vomiting in the restroom with the door open. Classy Miami, classy. But I digress...when I returned I was thrilled to see our steak skewers and pork belly had arrived. There were two skewers on the plate with about two to three pieces of meat on each and some peppers. They were good but not sure why they took about 45 minutes to come out. The pork belly was good as well. After about another 10 minutes the mac and cheese finally came out I had a bite and it was very rich and creamy... but im not sure it was the rave worthy dish that I've been reading repeatedly, and it was incredibly small for the $14 price tag. We spent overall $150 here, and had a relatively small and unsatisfying amount of food. It was nothing to write home about. I probably won't be back to this place, I did have high hopes. It seems like all the reviews from past Yelpers came from a little while ago or focused more on the atmosphere of the place and the experience they had. I will say the place is a cool looking place, but the clientele seem to be mostly from the Holiday Inn next door and not too many locals, especially the later on that I got. It would be a good place to just drink, because it is built to accommodate large groups as it had many booth seats built into walls, and a large bar area. The decor was cool and my server was sweet, but the terrible smell and the subpar food leave it with about two and a half stars. That is all. read more

So is not the first time that I go to this place but I can tell you for sure it will be the last one. The first time that I went there I really liked the happy hour but at that time unfortunately everything took just too long, I liked the detail of the marketing accesories like sunglasses and key chains so I decided to go again, the second time wasn't that pleasant because the hostess just wasn't friendly at all, the place was empty and she didn't want to give us a table because it was reserved for 4 hours later when the game that we were going to watch would take 90 minutes, the service again was slow and poor, we weren't even finish with our drinks and she was asking for the table when the place was empty. The third and last time I will summarize to just one word: "DISCRIMINATION". The worst experience ever and the worst management a restaurant can have. read more

Horrible, just horrible. It's more of a bar then a restaurant. Seriously if they got rid of the whole food element, or got a complete new chef it might be worth your time. Service: hit or miss Ambiance: cool spot, spacious, great for gator games! Price: happy hour is solid. Otherwise it's about on par for miami Food: I liked what I tried! Decent variety on the menu. Food stuff on happy hour menu also. I went there twice over the course of a few days and had two very different experiences. The first was on a Saturday for UF game. The place was absolutely packed but it was a great spot for watching the game. Loads of TVs. Sooooo loud tho. And the bro level was HIGH. Look out for broken glass and broski's chugging brewskis. Part of the deal tho, right? The waiter must've been completely overwhelmed but somehow still managed to get everything to us and for the most part, everything was correct!! I tried the pretzel bites which made for a good game time snack, but nothing extraordinary. Other people at my table had sliders and other things, all which looked delicious. Decided to give Batch a second chance. It was awesome this time around. The pork belly appetizer was really good, the pork belly was very well cooked and the parsnip purée that it came with was creamy and very savory. It also had some parsnip chips on top that completed the dish and gave it a crisp that tied the whole dish together. The duck nachos were really good as well. I don't like duck very much but this appetizer made me a duck fan from now on. The duck was really soft and it kind of melted in your mouth. I wish they would have added a bit more of the sauces over the nachos because the sauces were really good and it was missing a bit more. We also had the octopus and their empanadas which did not disappoint. Beer cocktails are a must at this restaurant. I had the ginger beer cocktail and I couldn't just have one. We stopped in here for our weekly "Wine Down Wednesday" tour of Brickell and were nothing short of blown away. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with smiling faces and lead over to a table outside. It was great music, not too loud and a good group of people at all of the tables. Our server may have been one of the nicest and most suggestive servers that we've come across in the area. She knew of all of the specials, told us about what you guys were known for relating to the menu and ingredients, all around an A+. I had one of your signature drinks that was on the happy hour special and then we ordered a bottle of wine that was half off, great deal. We shared a margarita pizza that was delectable! After a bottle of wine, one signature drink and one pizza (which filled us both up) our bill with tax was only $34.00, what a deal. I definitely am going back to Batch to try more of their pizzas and other items that stroked our interests (specifically the Mac Attack).
