Come to drink, go elsewhere to eat. I come to a bone-empty restaurant on a Wednesday at 3:30 and it takes about 20 minutes for them to bring out a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of salad. Not Mac and cheese, not fries, but a salad. And then these fools had the nerve to charge me $1 for blue cheese dressing on my salad. I've been here several times to eat and I am currently the Duke of this place, but the prices are waaaay to high and the service waaaaay too slow for me to recommend the food. But you can find attractive people and expensive drinks during football games if you wish. read more

When I lived in downtown Miami, Batch was one of my favorite places to eat and drink. The mac n cheese was ridiculously good. Visited Batch again on 11/4/17 for the UFC fight. The beer and drinks were great as usual. The Mac n cheese was disappointing, portion wise. For $13 it's really small. Pizza was tasty though and big enough for 2 people. On our way out, we got our garage parking "validated" by the hostess. It didn't work and we had to pay to get out of garage. No discount whatsoever (as promised). Also, I didn't feel to well the following day (think food poisoning) and wasn't sure if it was from something I consumed at Batch. But, it's a pretty solid place outside of those few minor glitches. read more

One of my top happy hour spots, drinks aren't watered down and food is your typical American grub, served delicious and fast. Gets a little crowded on the weekends but that's what makes it fun. read more

This place seemed ok at first. Except once you go inside. I went on a slow Monday night. you still wait for 20 mins for a drink bc the girl behind the bar is pre occupied with some dude. Whatever. Ps. The food was gross. read more

I'll keep it short. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. All things that don't go hand and hand in new jersey. Which means NJ has tragic service. read more

Good beer selection featuring lots of local brews (the florida craft beer scene is pretty solid!) and is a good place to catch a game. My wings weren't bad but there was sort of an unsettling amount of sauce collected in the bottom. read more

Great service from staff to management. Thanks for the accommodations. We will def be back ! Oh yea ... Food was tasty too !

Great bar restaurant. Their menu is unique and it caters to vegans too. Go watch a game and eat quality food.

I really do not understand the high reviews on the food. Yes, the ambiance was cool and we had a great time watching the USA- Portugal soccer match. The place was packed!. But the food is mediocre at best. Just a glorified sports bar. Cool to hang with friends and have a beer or two. The service , however, was great. Very friendly and fast even though they were slammed. read more

Came here for brunch for the first time to catch up with good company. WOW! The menu variety and exceptional quality here should come at no surprise as this place is simply amazing at what it does. The options ranged from Chicken and Waffles served with a splendid buttery spread to an excellent Eggs Benedict served with tasty cornbread and countless potatoes. Looking for a late morning cocktail, I asked for a mimosa and was unexpectedly pleased to hear about the bottomless version. With exceptional service, this place is a phenomenal Brickell spot: excellent sports bar, terrific taco Tuesdays, and a beastly brunch! Go Batch! read more

Came with a friend after work today for happy hour. For happy hour I think the place is great. They had lots of drink and food specials, which makes it reasonable instead of the typical overpriced. They have a good beer selection, which I had the Funky Buddha Floridian, which is a Heffeweizen. For snacks we got the parm and herb fries, hot pretzel bites and the spicy sausage rolls. $5 each during happy hour. For four beers, the snacks and a 20% tip we were out the door for $45.00. Its a bar atmosphere, but they don't blast your ears out with music, at least during happy hour. I hope to come back again and try some of the regular menu food. read more

I've been to Batch Gastropub twice now. Once for sit in around dinner time and once for late night. The late night experience was pretty blah. We strolled in after a couple hours of dancing at the clubs and the atmosphere was pretty dead. We were the only customers in the restaurant (as far as I could tell). We ended up going in though bc we didn't want to keep walking (plus I wanted to try out more of their menu) We ordered the brisket burger which came with fries, chicken wings, and an extra order of fries. The burger was standout good, I recommend it. I've had their wings before, but on this occasion I wasn't impressed. They didn't have that same zing effect they did the first time I ate them. They tasted maybe a bit over fried. Not bad wings, just nothing to really write about. On a side note, the fries were really good. The time we got a table at Batch my girlfriend and her friend each ordered the margherita pizza.... We all thought the pizzas were bad! ALL OF US! I definitely won't recommend this this food item based on the two pizzas we received. The pizza had a strong raw tomato flavor... and that was about all it had. Some of their pizzas really peak my interest, but the margherita pizza was not something I'd order again. I enjoyed the pretzel bites. Very salty outside, soft and chewy on the inside. It paired well with the cheese sauce it came with. No complaints here, though my girlfriend found them too salty. Someone in the group ordered their chicken wings and so I tried them. and...They were some good wings. The wings had a slightly distinct flavor which I really liked. I ordered the gnocchi mac and cheese with the hanger steak add on. This dish is really what is giving batch the 4 out of 5 stars. It was the best dish our table of 5 was served. My only complaint about this plate was the $8 charge for such a small portion of steak. I believe it was like 4 little strips of steak? It tasted really good though! But I enjoy large portions so I was a bit let down by the small steak portion. What attracts me the most to batch are their unique menu items. I do plan on coming back and trying out more of their food. The ambiance during normal hours is always fun and vibrant. The bar scene is always popping. read more

Oh faithful Brickell. Never disappoints late nights. But when it comes to the king of happy hours and customer service during the day the award goes to batch! Great customer service and specials. Mykle is amazing and she is a major asset to this establishment. I will continue coming here and recommending it to all my friends. read more

First time I came to Batch was for brunch during the World Cup - so naturally, it was slammed. We made reservations which made no difference because the host was beyond rude. Tonight, we went for dinner and drinks and got seated right away. The DJ is great, the food is alright - at the time we went they only had a "Late Night" menu... Nothing appetizing, especially for the price. I had hanger skewers that were over cooked and heavily salted. The drinks were good but the waitress couldn't even tell me what their house whiskey was. I gave this place 3 stars regardless because it's beautiful, the music and vibe is nice, and the marketing director, Jorge, really goes out of his way to ensure my party has a good time. It's a new place and has a lot of potential. I just hope they can take constructive criticism and improve. read more

I gave them ANOTHER chance with delivery, and I'm still sorry I did. Wasted $30 on gross food that was delivered cold and soggy! Why would I pay a delivery fee AND tip for that? Plus, they keep spamming me, despite multiple unsubscribes and phone calls to management over the last year. This place just won't go away. read more

Thoroughly disappointed when I went to Batch last night. I was with a group of 6 and we showed up to Batch during the 4th quarter of the San Fan/seattle game. There was a large booth at the front the was big enough to sit all of us so we could watch the end of the game and order drinks. The waiter said we could sit there so went all sat down. Within a minute the hostess told us we could not sit there because it was reserved for bottle service. Let me just say it was a Sunday night and the place was half full. We were told to get up. One of my friends got the manager and explained to him what happened. His response to what had happened to us was extremely rude and unsympathetic. We then left because they clearly didn't want our business. I can't see this place lasting long with such a negative attitude from their manager and wait staff. I will not be returning. Let me also add that we were NOT highly intoxicated, not even drunk hence why we were at the bar trying to order drinks in the first place. The waiter told us we could sit there and the hostess said it was reserved for bottle service. Exactly what we were told. When we were told that we could sit there and then that we couldn't I don't think anyone would be happy about that. We were offered a table that was half the size. The manager basically blew off what we had to say so we left. We ended up at Burger and Beer where they were more than happy to accomodate a normal size party on a Sunday night. I see all the reviews left here already and any kind of negative comment has been blown off and the customer is told their wrong. I'm pretty sure for a brand new bar that kind of attitude is only going to drive away customers. You should focus of fixing the problems not attacking customers. I am disappointed by the comment left by the owner and hope you learn that this is no way to speak to customers regardless of the situation. There are many other bars in Brickell to go to so it is no loss for me or anyone else who has had a bad experience. read more

Jason, the head bartender, is awesome. This place is pricey, but welllll worth it especially if you are able to snag Jason. He loves what he does and it shows. Talk to him for five minutes behind the bar and you will see how passionate he is about his craft. He has his favorites, but is much more interested in making sure you get a drink you enjoy. No, he isn't happy with just enjoying your drink, he wants you to LOVE it. If you let him, he will introduce you to things you never thought possible in a cocktail. I have been here twice now, and the most recent time I stayed at the Brickell Hampton Inn only because it was next door to The Batch. Seriously people, there aren't many experiences like this out there. Take advantage. Ok and they have normal drinks too, a pretty good selection of beers and some great food. (Bring back the French Toast please! ) this place is my top five, easy and I'm a beer guy! read more

Ouch. Was really fooled by the 4 star rating. Souless garbage. These words are harsh, but more than warranted, given the quality of food, mostly, and indifference by staff. They tried somewhat, but the kitchen is definitely far from those 4 stars. The brisket burger was juicy enough, and cooked close to the medium rare, but utterly tasteless, as were the limp and saturated truffle fries. Consider it a pub. Drop the gastro portion of the title, and the rating may be better justified. read more

Man oh man...I have to say that the bartenders are quitting today! (Just Joking)..the drinks were so good..I got the bottomless mimosas for brunch on Saturday with my husband..our waitress was really nice..unfortunately I can't remember her name bc of the drinks....the drunken French toast and the candies bacon was the choices I picked..now..be prepared for the French toast to be soaked with the brown liquor that's in it..was good! The bacon was even the more! My husband chose the omelet with everything in it..never had we tasted anything so good! Will be coming back here for sure when we visit Miami! read more

A great discovery! I read the Yelp reviews & read an article about this place online, so I decided to check it out. It's a little hidden (close to Kukaramakara) by the Hampton. Fun atmosphere, with lots of people around the center bar and also sitting outside. Lots of TV's everywhere so it's perfect to watch a game with friends, and a DJ to play some good music (but this was a Friday night). For food- 2 words: Mac Attack!! I went with the option to add chicken & truffle oil- please do your tastebuds a favor & try this. AMAZING!!!!! As an appetizer, I had the truffle Parmesan fries (I'm a little truffle obsessed, I know. And I don't care) Get your own because you will not want to share. Definitely recommend this place, can't wait to go back now that football has returned! read more

Terrible experience. Food is low quality. I got a burger and it was very cold and undercooked. The chicken fingers were full of oil. I had mimosas and the orange juice made me throw up for hours afterwards. I won't be coming back and I don't reccomend anyone to go. The place smells and it feels dirty. Definitely needs to be redone. read more

The only thing that ruined our experience & has made us decide never to return was the manager Kevin. We had a reservation but because half of our party hadn't arrived yet they told us we couldn't be seated right away, which is fine usually but in this case I'm 40 weeks pregnant so when we let the hostess know to see if I could be accommodated with at least a seat while I wait, the hostess was quick to say no. My father obviously was bothered by this & asked to speak to someone in charge. When Kevin appeared, he brought us a seat but made it a point to pull my father aside & reprimand him for having complained. My dad didn't raise his voice, didn't curse, didn't disrespect the hostess in any way but the manager still felt the need to "defend his employee for doing as she was trained to do." Ive worked in hospitality before, both in restaurants & hotels & never have I seen telling a customer "no" before asking a superior in a special circumstance situation as part of training. The manager could've just provided the seat & let us wait for the table, but he decided to make the situation worse by telling my father that he was wrong for having complained & to be patient. It left a terrible 1st impression on us, if it wasn't for the fact that we had a birthday brunch planned where we needed reservations to go anywhere else we would've left to go eat somewhere where the customer service is better. Kevin, I hope your logic of having more consideration for your employees than your customers works out for you, but I really don't see it as a promising career tactic. At least the food was good. read more

This restaurant was okay. They have a late night menu with only 7 options after 11pm. They stayed open fairly late, but had no drink specials taking place at this time. Usually, for a bar, you would expect some cheaper drinks around this time. My mother had the "bison burger" and had an upset stomach all night. Their fries are pretty good, the "chili chicken wings with Dorito dust" were pretty bland. The ranch dressing on the side is pretty much what have it taste. My friend enjoyed her "Mac attack" macaroni and cheese, with added shrimp. Overall, it was an okay dining experience. Though, their pictures on the wine menu should correctly show the pour of wine. The "flight" was a picture of a half full glass, and the "glass" was a picture of a full glass. We ordered two glasses of red wine and they were filled to the level of a "flight" at the price of a full glass. This was slightly disappointing. read more

I've been to Batch a few times but my most recent visit was what encouraged me to write this review. My girlfriend's took me here for my birthday lunch. We walked in with reservations for 7 and were sat quickly. The waitress let us know that on Wednesdays you get one glass of wine with any social media check in. They have specials for checking in on each night of the week. I wanted beer so went to check in on yelp to use the glass for a friend when it said "Free flight of beer with check in" WINNING! (all specials still apply for check in on facebook or if you use their hashtag on instagram) We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which is rather small if you're sharing with more than 2 so we ended up ordering a second. We each went a different route ordering grilled cheese with tomato soup, grouper sliders, the whole earth wrap, salad and mine which was the Root Beer BBQ pulled pork sliders. There was not one complaint at our table. Everything came out together, hot and perfect. After our free beers and wine, the manager swung by to ask who's birthday it was. I raised my hand and smiled to which he replied "Shots?". You don't turn down free birthday shots. No matter how hard it's going to be to function back at the office. We asked for something light (or the illusion of such). Within minutes we each had raspberry kamikaze shots at our finger tips. Thank you kind Batch manager with the nice beard. You can't end a birthday outing without desert. The waitress warned us that 2 of the 4-5(?) would take a bit, the cookie or the cinnamon bun bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. Wanna guess which one we had? How does one say no to anything cinnamon bun? or anything bread? or anything pudding? much less all of the above? So worth the wait and the calories. I am writing this review with my top button undone and I have zero regrets. This is a place you go to stuff your face and feel ok about it. At least I do. read more

Been here a few times for a few drinks and some food! I cannot complain, the food has always been good and so have the drinks. I drink mostly beer, so I cannot complain about their other drinks. Service is always good and we always get a table when we arrive. These place does get busy during the weekend, so ask to see if maybe you can get a table ahead of time. Also, their happy hour is good and they have good deals. If you are in the area and have not decided where to go, it's worth a stop. The food is bar food, but it's casual and "hip". They also throw a good Halloween party and St Pattys. read more

A great vibe for Sunday brunches in downtown Miami. My best friend and I both got the smoked house omelette with a side of potatoes. Had dinner with my fiancé and 4 friends last Friday. We had a great and comfortable booth. The music was great. Our friends had already ordered an appetizer and drinks. When the sever (Mike) got to our table and I ordered my food, he interrupted me very rudely and told me to order a drink first. He remained EXTREMELY rude, disrespectful and with an attitude the rest of our dinner; so much for an enjoyable dinner. Things I ordered: Drinks - Santiago Sling, Long "oolong" Iced Tea, 305 Collins - all the drinks were amazing Crispy Pork Belly - wasn't crispy, the too stuck to my teeth and the pork was chewy Truffle Cheese Fries- crispy, perfectly seasoned and not greasy Fresh Farm Pizza - veggies were very fresh, pesto was not over bearing, crust was crispy but not burnt Batch Brisket Burger - very tender but wish it wasn't patty, adding cheese next time I did let someone know about the rude server and also let them know how helpful the bus boy, Jordan was. read more

I had never heard of Batch but went for a friend's birthday. We ate dinner and I ordered the plain Mac Attack and truffle fries. The Mac Attack is Gnocchi with baked bread crumbs on top. It's good but I don't prefer white cheese. My favorite of course was the Mud Pie dessert. It's a cake with ice cream, seems like crumbs of a Heath bar, and some sort of Oreo cookie crust - delicious!
