this place deserves more than 5 stars!!! our server Kyle was bomb and got us samples to help us decide what to order! and yelp check in for some freebies! theres also complementary mouthwash in the restroom. truffle fries and pretzel bites were so good, there's a white sauce thats a lil tangy that comes with the fries and, wow, must find the recipe!!! the gnocchi mac n cheese was also quite cool, highly recommend!!! also recommend the 305!! yum will be back!! read more

Great place to eat with a big group. Food is great and free drinks for ladies starting at 10pm on Friday nights!

I came here recently for the first time. I was thrilled to see there was a check in offer so I could try one of their house beers. The waiter was very helpful in helping me find something I would like to try and the beer here is great. They have extensive specials per week whether it has to do with their happy hour drinks, food, or events. It seems like a really good venue to celebrate with friends. I tried their Mac and cheese, and it was delicious. With a perfect blend of different cheeses, and gnocchi noodles soaking them up, it was filling but not overpowering. I ordered the brunch size and was told the larger size would likely put me in a food coma. It was delicious and everything I saw people order looked good. This is definitely a go-to spot for brunch, as it became very crowded around 1pm. It's also a popular spot to watch sporting events. read more

Going to have to rate this place 50/50. The first time I went it was amazing and was more then I was expecting for bar food it was of the quality of a good restaurant. Today expecting the same thing and level of food and Service but was lacking in all the above. Wait too long for service, had taken us almost 30 minutes to get our check and it wasn't even busy less than 40 people in the restaurant with extra staff just standing around. The food was horrific! I tried, not had but tried the Tuesday taco special. Which had cold tortillas right out of the package, all the condiments to go on top of were straight out of the refrigerator and cold and the only thing that was warm was the meat they threw on top. I was quite embarrassed as I had brought a few friends bragging about the restaurant and everyone was let down with different meals that everyone had. Not sure I'll be back and am sure my friends will not! Maybe the chef was out on vacation or called in sick but no excuses why they served such terrible food read more

I went to a happy hour with some of my girlfriends and we stumbled upon Batch Gastropub in Brickell. Not only was the service exceptional, but also the food that came out of the kitchen was heavenly. I started my night with their form of an Old Fashioned - but they call it the New Fashioned. It has Bulleit Bourbon, Luxardo Maraschino, Mandarin Napoleon, bitters, brandied cherry, and, of course a dried orange peel. Yes, please! For dinner we shared a bunch of plates that were out of this world: Warm Pretzel Bites, The Divine Swine pizza, and their truffles fries (an absolute must try). Whether you are looking for a happy hour site with your girlfriends after work, which I know we all are thinking about this during this time of the week, or looking to meet your date at a new place try out Batch! read more

Checked this place out for lunch during the week and was very impressed with the food and service. I sat outside to enjoy the lovely Miami afternoon and ordered the pear & goat cheese wrap from the power lunch menu. For $15, you start with either the soup of the day or their house salad. I had the salad, which was good. Next, you choose from a list of six different lunch entrees, one being the wrap I selected. The wrap was a spinach tortilla filled with a goat cheese and pear spread with Serrano ham wrapped inside. So delicious!! You have your choice of fries, truffle fries ($2 extra) or side salad. I chose the truffle fries. They were good, but honestly I've had better. Finally, dessert. Placed in a to-go bag, a big chocolate chip cookie. I'm not one to save my sweets for later. My "let me try a piece and save the rest for later" bite turned into me devouring the entire cookie like the Cookie Monster (don't judge me). Now that I've experienced lunch here, I want to go back for their weekend brunch. read more

Great spot to start the night with dinner or to just sit at the bar and try some great cocktails. I came into Batch with a few friends a few weeks ago. Our server, Nicole, was awesome! She helped to suggest a few items off the menu and personally guided me on a journey through the creative cocktail list. The New Fashion is a must try! Nicole suggested that since we were all planning on sharing food that we should get some appetizers and the NY strip with peppercorn. It was the perfect recommendation. With a few appetizers (mac and cheese being my favorite) and the steak, the three of us were set up for a successful night of good old, drinkin' fun. My friends and I will definitely be back soon. read more

Where do you go for brunch when it's crappy and raining? Somewhere inside. We had reservations for a 2pm wine tasting elsewhere in Brickell later this day (during the hurricane Erika that wasn't) so it just ended up being GROSS out. Made an OpenTable reservation here and walked in to a nearly empty house around noon. Ok, no biggie. We sat at a high top near the back where there were a good amount of TV screens and a lot of space. We weren't near the bar or too near the bathroom which was nice. Eventually more people trickled in, but I wanted to milk as long out of the 2 hour unlimited mimosas/bellinis that I could. Our waitress was pretty attentive, but as the place started getting busier it was a little harder to track her down. As we tried to get her for the check it was even harder-I even asked for the check and she either didn't hear me or forgot. That being said-this is one of the few places I've been to that has bellinis bottomless, but surprisingly-not bloodys. I found that odd. I honestly prefer bellinis to mimosas since I like prosecco almost over any type of booze-but I was with a bloody fan and we were a tad disappointed to find the chipotle bloody mary was $10 extra. Boo. Thankfully I converted him at least partially to Team Bellini. I ordered the Gnocchi Mac and Cheese with Truffle Oil and the Benedict-both came out in less time than it took for us to down one drink. I was honestly really surprised but this was when there wasn't a ton of people here. Both were hot and honestly pretty good. Moderately greasy, but it's gastro/bar food-not the Four Seasons. It was enough to soak up some of the alcohol and call it a day but not so heavy as to kill the buzz. I would come back here if only I lived closer-although it seems like more of a place you would come with a larger group of friends to watch a game since there are a lot of screens for that type of thing. Came here on a date and it was great, but it isn't the most romantic setting. read more

Favorite new neighborhood bar... Why? Good food Knowledge staff who really care about the patrons and obviously the ownership. They know their menu, story and specialities and I liked that a lot. It's clean It's had great food... Brisket burger, pork belly, Brussel sprouts? Feed me yes! The drink menu is exciting, home infused liquids, fun mixers like ginger beer, good beer selection with some local stuff... Indoor and outdoor settings with tons of TVs! Yay! Big airy and super cool inside .. The list goes on but I'm sold on batch .. Please don't change! read more

I went by Batch last night with a group of friends to watch the Heat game and was very disappointed. We had made reservations for a table with the beer tap three days prior to actually going to the restaurant. We arrived on time and had to wait an additional 25 minutes to be seated because the managers were argueing with the clients who were sitting at the table before us. Although I do understand why the other clients were upset that they had to move from the table, i find it incredibly annoying that we had to wait when we had reservations. If you don't have capacity, DON'T OVER BOOK YOUR RESTAURANT. Plain and Simple. After we sat down, it took another 25 minutes for us to actually get a waitor's attention. At this point, everyone was hot (apparently they were having issues with the AC), hungry and cranky. Since our table had a beer tap, we wanted to put it to use. There were two taps filled with beer, one with vodka, and one with Mai Tai. The waitor never specified how much anything was, just told us that the tap would count down from $1,000.00. Needless to say, when the bill came, everything was RIDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED. For example, a regular 8 oz cup with what had two shots of vodka in it was priced at $44.00!!!!! A round of 5 shots of vodka was priced at $89.00!!!!! It was completely and utterly over priced and a waste of money. In a nutshell, I will never be coming back. This place was a rip off and left a very sour taste in my mouth. I DO NOT recomment. AT ALL. read more

I have been to Batch for several years. I enjoy being able to watch sports, trivia nights and brunch. Food is usually good. However, the menu has changed a lot over the years and the most recent menu is not vegan friendly. Even the salad for $19 was not an option. There's some terrible quinoa bowl as the only option. What happened to a regular veggie burger? Brunch is just as bad. Please try to offer more healthy, tasty vegan options. read more

Thought this was a good spot to catch up with friends and enjoy some drinks. We ended up having a GREAT time and savoring several of their appetizers and entrees including the Truffle Spinach Dip, Truffle Fries, pizza and pasta. Everything was amazingly delicious. Once they found out it was our first time visiting, they brought my 9 friends and I complimentary shots and tickets for another one to use during our next visit. read more

Not a bad place to spend an evening after work, or a Saturday night. As per usual, word on the street was that Batch was the place to be and I needed to see what all the talk was about. My first impression of Batch was that it was a very nice place. The bathrooms are pretty fancy for a bar (thanks for that though!). The food is also great for a bar. I've had a couple things, but I really liked the pizza, gnocchi mac and cheese, and Bavarian pretzel bites. My only real issue with the place is that I once went during a special occasion and they weren't offering the regular happy hour. It totally put a damper on the evening because they only offered something I did not drink. All in all, a good time with good food. I've been back a couple of times and I plan to go back again. read more

NPS = 8 Great place for watching games! I am particularly pleased with how this venue has handled the Florida Gators March Madness events! Batch Gastropub created a Gator Shirt that Gator Club of Miami members (and non-members) can purchase for $20 and they also get a beer with every shirt purchase. The money generated goes towards University of Florida scholarships and I think that is just like Florida Basketball.....FAN-TAS-TIC! Beers from local Miami breweries are available here. I have to say though, I have yet to try the "Wynwood La Rubia" beer (which I really want to try) because they keep running out of it! :( You can try the beers in flight sizes to a full liter for yourself or even a pitcher. I loved the specials for the Gator games which brought the price of several entrees/appetizers to like $5. I definitely recommend the truffle fries and warm pretzel bites. This place is great to just come hang out, watch games, eat some appetizers and drink a couple of beers. The food is great too, but you have to love the taps being directly on the table. I can't wait to see this place develop further. Perhaps Florida Gator football games will even be hosted at this venue. read more

AMAZING!!!!! So were new to the area and one night were driving around looking for a nice craft beer spot with good food and I have to say this spot hit the nail on the head decently priced and amazing food. Not much of a food menu however what's on it was delicious,( TRY THE WINGS!!). Lots of local craft beer draft, cans, and bottles as well as domestic beer. Huge selection of alcohol and prompt friendly service. THE MUSIC IS ALWAYS ON POINT!!!!! I couldn't eat because I was singing to every song played lol read more

Minus one star for service, minus one star for prices, minus one star for the miniature glasses of overpriced wine, minus one star for "Jason" the bartender calling me and my friend "baby-girl", ummmm no. How many stars left....ok guess we're where we need to be for this review. Skip this spot, plenty of other good places in the area. Plus it's kinda dirty in there and on the patio. That I wrote based on the first round we got. The second round we thought we would try a different bartender...but low and behold as this new bartender was pouring our wine, not from bottle this time but from a tap... JASON intervenes! He scolds and reminds the poor guy, who is slammed btw, about the proper pour size. Holding the example cup up at him and waving it. Yea, that's proactive...oh yea..those two glasses of wine were more expensive then the first! Crazy. I mean they are charging the cost of the bottle for one glass. read more

I get really excited when I see Brussels sprouts on a menu, and then tend to judge the restaurant based mainly on their brussels sprouts. Unfortunately Batch just didn't get it right... or the truffle fries, or the duck nachos. But I will tell you what they got so right that it made up for their poor Brussels sprout performance: glazed wings! pork belly tacos! Truffled gnocchi Mac n cheese! Have all three, trust me :) we will be back. read more

A cool little pub but expensive and we had the worst service. I'll give this place credit for the owner who tried to rectify the situation with my girl. The food was meh and the pitchers were overpriced to me, Not worth $24 for a pitcher which other places around have it under $20. Our server was rude and very unattending. I got irritated at how many times my girl had to wave him down.,, on top of that he took my glass that was still half way full away and when i asked about it they just brought a new empty glass with no apology... The server made the whole experience so horrific that we just paid and left with of course no tip.. Never had I ever had to leave no tip. Usually if the service is bad i would leave at least a couple of dollar but this guy was a dooche.... I was pissed and about to say something but my party stop me. Overall we vowed to never come back but are thinking about giving this place another chance because of the owner's professionalism in listening to the complaint after he contacted my girlfriend.. Soo,,,, we will see... this review is "to be continued..:" read more

This place is amazing. The decor is was incredibly well put together, nothing like your typical Miami bar. The staff were very attentive always making sure we were well taken care of. As far as the food goes it was great! Small menu but perfect for this type of bar. I had a few specialty drinks and loved them. Our friends also had a couple of beers on tap and raved about them! All in all this is a must on the Gastropub check list! read more

Someone threw a lot of money into this place, and it shows. The bathrooms are way fancier than they need to be and the menu is almost too hip for a sports bar. Batch is trying to do it all, and actually kind of succeeds. The drinks are good - not great, not stellar - you will find a better craft cocktail elsewhere, yes - but you're not going to find better craft cocktails AND better TVs AND better food AND better decor AND better - well, you get it... Batch is pumping out solid 4's across the board. Nothing is well-smack-my-ass-and-call-me-judy-fantastic, but everything is good. I wouldn't recommend the duck and french toast, but I would say yes to any of the pizzas. I wouldn't go bananas over the octopus but I would shovel their gnocchi mac and cheese with bacon or brussel sprouts added in down my throat without hesitation. There are taps dishing out big-name beers and straight liquor installed into some of the tables, so if you wanted to order a round of shots, you could also just serve yourself. The one episode of Bar Rescue I've watched taught me, though, that it is the bartender's responsibility to make sure you're not a drunken nuisance to society when you leave their bar, and these serve-yourself-jameson taps do not come equipped with breathalyzers, so sometimes on my walk home I'm only a little weary of the possibility of over served drivers. Come for a sports game, or a casual drink with co-workers. read more

Very HIp and cool place in Brickell. The decor is cool. I love the hanging lamps. The light up bars are very intriguing and set a great mood. The staff is very friendly. The drink menu is unique. Their is a big selection in food and appetizers. I'm in love with the Gunpowder n Rye. They carry aged liquor, the New Fashion was tasty and left a nice after taste. Their version of chicharrones perfect bite size and finger licking good. There are TV's so you can watch sports while you party, eat , or mingle. Go Heat :) read more

My boyfriend and I were starving last night, and we decided (or rather, I decided...) we wanted some mac and cheese. We looked up best mac and cheese in Miami, and Batch was on the list. We got there around 9. The place was somewhat empty (most people were at the bar), but it was a Sunday night, so that's expected. We got to sit wherever we wanted, so we chose a booth across the bar/TVs. The place itself looks really nice and chill. It has brick walls, leather (I'm no leather expert, so I might be wrong about this detail) cushions and colored lights. For anyone who appreciates novelty: the bathrooms have these really cool sinks that not only wash your hands but dry them too! I didn't know where to insert that detail, but I've never seen that before so I got a little excited about it. Our waiter brought out waters and menus immediately. My boyfriend and I looked at the menus and got more and more excited. First of all, the Mac Attack (the mac and cheese dish) is made with gnocchi, and I absolutely love gnocchi. For some extra dough, you can add things like bacon, caramelized onions and meatballs. No surprise, I ordered the Mac Attack with some bacon. Second of all, cornbread. I love cornbread. I freaking ADORE cornbread. I would marry cornbread. The minute I read pumpkin cornbread on the menu I was intrigued but sold. I never say no to cornbread. We ordered that as an appetizer. They didn't have pumpkin cornbread, BUT they had cinnamon cornbread. We thought that was even better, so we went with it. Finally, my boyfriend ordered the brisket burger and paid extra for truffle fries. And then we waited....and waited....and waited. We kept ourselves entertained by watching the Oscars. A small note--this isn't a deal breaker, more like a pet peeve. They don't put close captioning on their TVs, so we had no idea what was going on! All I know is Patricia Arquette said something that made Meryl Streep and JLo go nuts. I felt like I missed out. Anyhow, the burger and mac and cheese came out, but no cornbread. We thought it was weird since we asked for it as an appetizer, but our waiter said it was overlooked at the kitchen. He apologized and said it would be out ASAP. The mac and cheese looked great. It was creamy with sprinkled breadcrumbs and bacon. However, it did not taste as good as it looked and it most definitely is not the best mac and cheese I've ever had. First of all, the gnocchi to cheese ratio was terrible. There was tons of cheese and barely any gnocchi. And while there was a generous amount of bacon, it was burned, which meant that the generous amount of bacon turned into a generous amount of burnt flavor. The cheese sauce tasted good (good for dipping fries too!), but the dish as a whole left much to be desired. My boyfriend's burger was OK, nothing special. The truffle fries tasted good but not extra $3 good. Our cornbread finally came out. It looked interesting. It had a layer of white stuff with what looked like berries. Since I'm a picky eater, I asked my boyfriend to try it first so he could identify the mystery topping. He told me it was gross. I tried the cornbread, and it really wasn't good. The cinnamon definitely overpowered the taste and it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. We were disappointed. We ended up not eating it, and the staff was nice enough to take it off the check. When the bill came, the cornbread was off, but there was a Bud Light in its place, which we did not order. The added bacon was also $3 even though I'm pretty sure the menu said it was $2.50. They removed the Bud Light, we paid for our bill and left. Overall, the experience was not the best. The staff was nice and friendly, and the place was clean. But still, the food took long to come out and was not worth the wait nor the price. My water never got refilled. And I don't know what Patricia Arquette said in her speech! (JK about that last one) We probably won't be coming back. read more

I've been back since my first two visits a few weeks ago and I love this place a little more each time. I've since had the Brisket Burger which was so so good and the divine swine pizza which may be my favorite menu item. The dessert cookie skillet will make it hard for you not want to order it each time you visit. Overall, I've been super pleased with my experiences at Batch and will continue visiting. This has become my favorite place to grab a drink/ eat/ watch the game in brickell. The service is great - the staff is friendly and the owner is a super nice guy! read more

We weren't originally going to eat here, but I'm glad we did! We ordered two dishes to share: brisket burger and mac attack + pork belly. The burger was juicy and tasted great! The (first few bites of the) mac attack was even better! Soooo cheesy and pork belly was a good match with it. Admittedly, I had to stop eating because it got a little too rich on the cheese, but I still enjoyed it for sure. Not a fan of the regular fries that came with the burger, though. Too bland. I thought of it too late to ask for truffle fries. Darn it. So definitely choose that over regular. Service was only okay. He was nice enough, but didn't seem attentive enough. He picked up our dishes, but didn't ask if we wanted dessert or the check. I assumed he would just bring one or the other out, but he didn't so we had to flag him down to ask. It's more expensive than your average sports bar, but I expected that with what's on their menu. So don't come in thinking you're at a regular sports bar. I'd say it's more foodie than sports. read more

Stopped into Batch for Friday night happy hour and surprise...the place was packed!!! Turns out it was game 6 of Heat vs Indiana!! Oops! Maybe next time. Impressed by the space, last week I again suggested Batch for happy hour and surprise...Yelp event! Luckily we arrived before the start time and had first dibs on seating. I can't say much about the food or the cocktails, we only ordered a bottle of wine and a hummus appetizer. So then why the great review? Because this place is cool. It's the kind of place you WANT to watch the heat game. Nowhere near the category of Flannigans or the Ale House, Batch is still the kinda place where you can wear jeans and order a beer. Budweiser or Rochestecher...you choose. It's also awesome that Batch works with Yelp, to spread the good word while entertaining my fellow yelpers. Next stop...Sunday brunch. Came down from Pines to check out this spot that is getting quite popular. We wanted to see how to serve your own beer worked. But the place was too packed and they sat us outside instead. We couldn't have a full dinner and an array of drinks because it was quite expensive but what else can you expect of Brickell. My bf and I picked 3 small plates and a drink each. I love the names of the plates. I usually stare at the menu a long time before I can find something but with all the funny and unique names it was so much easier for me to pick! We picked a few items but they were out of them and the server Felipe just knew how to cover! He was really great at picking the good stuff off the menu. I love it when a server asks you things you like and matches you the best off their menu. I really enjoyed eating the New Orleans spicy shrimp, crispy pork belly and truffle cheese fries. Very delicious!!! I just wished I could've ate a bit more or if they had a happy hour special to get your money's worth. I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the prices but the service we received from Felipe and how attentive he was really made me enjoy the place! I would come back even if it costs me. By the way, the doorman really freaked me out. I felt like I was going into a club since the bouncer didn't even greet us lol. read more

Venue: The good nice thing about this venue is that you don't have to search for parking. They have a parking garage and they validate. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. There are TV's for those that want to come watch a sports match. Food: The food here was better than we expected. Two different locals recommended this place to us and we simply hoped that it would live up to the hype. We came here for brunch. $20 gets you bottomless mimosas (the best), bellinis (also good), sangria (didn't make it this far), and some other cocktail (too sweet for my taste). I had the batch breakfast, and they were kind enough to add more potatoes since I don't eat meat. My boyfriend had the burger and for once was actually blown away and happy with a restaurant burger. (I'm sure he'll post a review @Sean M.) The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked - not dry at all ! Service: This was the icing on the cake. KYLE was FANTASTIC. Every time we come we get to reserve the back area behind the bar (usually if you have 15 or more people). The servers every time we go are attentive and we have never had an issue. Batch has the best happy hour because the menu selections are awesome, its until 8pm, and the music is good. The last time we went they had a live band which was really good.
