I'm here having the worst ladies night experience... just walking in you can tell the place is not made to have this many people and the vibe was weird but whatever we gave it a chance and decided to get a table outside. Our waitress was really upset and gave us attitude because 3 of the 7 ppl in the table didn't want to buy food, we just wanted drinks (?). Anyways, she took our orders and came back and said that they were cleaning the nozzle for the drink we wanted so it was going to take longer. I asked if she could bring me a different drink in the meantime but she said no because we could not order more than one drink at a time (?). I didn't want more than one drink and a time, I wanted one drink first and then another... anyways, I let that go and then she eventually brought our drinks plus an extra drink. So yes, obviously one of us drank the extra drink. Then she comes to take our orders for the second round, I order with everyone else. Then five minutes later she comes and aggressively singles me out and asks me (a second time?) if I want another one. I was confused but just said yes. When she comes back to the drink she tells us the manager is "watching us" because we had two drinks at once. Thanks for making us feel super awkward and unwanted. I will make sure that none of us ever come back here and I'll tell all my friends to go literally anywhere else on a Friday! read more

This was the driest pork-chop of my life mixed with vegetables that smelled and tasted like they were rubbed across a bathroom floor. The second dish, the salmon had a little flavor and some juices. It wasn't quite as bad as the pork-chop which was similar to eating a piece of drywall. The service, well there isn't any or at least not our night. It's one of those cases where you spend 15 minutes doing sos with your hands after sitting there for 25 minutes trying to find help because you'd love a cocktail, but even when they see you, they'll most likely ignore you and come over when they feel like it. read more

Food was average, experience was awful. We waited for over 20 minutes just to have our server greet us and take our drink order. Our food came and they forgot the bacon, our server never came back. We literally waited another 25-30 to get our check, we had to ask the hostess to get our check. Honestly, we would have stayed and drank more but the service was terrible and ruined our meal. So I've actually came here three times now and constantly have the same issue. The food never comes out at the same time. There's always that one person that gets there food like 20 minutes later than everyone else. My last experience here was on Sunday. We came here to watch one of the play off games. We were seated right away which was a plus. We ordered our food and then here is where things got messed up. So it was 6 of us and only two people received their food. Actually one person received their whole meal the other person just received their chicken wings but were missing the fries. Then finally the fries came but they were regular fries instead of truffle. We brought it up to the attention of our waiter and he said he was right on it. When he brought back the fries he came and apologized and said that the rest of our food was taken to another table but that they were making another one right away. At this point the people that had gotten their food had already finished it. About 10 more minutes pass and then the manager comes and apologizes to us and offers us a round of shots to apologize for the wait. ( which I thought was a great gesture since we had been waiting for a while). We finally got our food!! And it was good. I ordered the mac attack which I thought was delicious and an order of truffle fries which were good. Overall I feel like the experience would have been a whole lot better if we had all gotten our food on time but the food was good and they made up for the wait with the cinnamon vodka! read more

The first time we went here, everything was really yummy! So we decided to go back again 2 nights later, and were disappointed. Food ordered together came out 20 minutes apart, and wasn't hot. We ended up complaining to the manager, who said it was all his fault, as he is the food runner. Doesn't seem like a wise plan for running a restaurant. Since the food was good the first time, I'm giving it three stars. read more

I have been here multiple times for Ladies Night as well as on random nights throughout the week and the staff never seems to disappoint! They're sociable and quick. Even with it being Ladies Night where ladies drink free, the bartenders never ignore me like at other places. They always get my drink just right. The bartenders here just always seem happy to be working there and I've only had positive experiences here. They've got a great beer selection which I really like, who wants to drink the same beers at every bar?? Definitely give this place a shot on a Friday night! read more

Best time, definitely should go! Great location in downtown Miami very close to the metro and other public transit

It's great! The service is awesome the vibe is chill. Nice for a Friday night :) would come back !

As soon as you enter it's a whole vibe! Ladies night is totally worth it, you won't regret it.

Amazing place , free drinks on Friday! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to come with lady fiends and have a good time!! read more

Really good spot with some good weekly specials & some really good Pizza. The outdoor setting is very calm and casual if your not interested on sitting on the inside where it's a little dark. The Pizza was superb and the wings were good as well. The only dish I didn't enjoy as much was the Mac & Cheese. I just felt it tasted a bit weird but I ordered with an open mind knowing that the dish was served with Aged cheese. All in all I'll definitely visit again! read more

Batch always gives an amazing brunch experience. The Egg & Cheese Biscuit Skillet had us melting this weekend with its Pope's Buttermilk Biscuits, Bechamel Sauce, Pecanwood-Smoked Bacon, Sunny Side-Up Eggs, and delicious Asiago Cheese. Definitely has to be our favorite. Best part? They now offer brunch specials until 4pm! Grab bottomless Bellinis, Mimosas, and Sangria. Whatever your little alcoholic heart desires. read more

Terrible service. No indication of needing to be sat by a hostess for outside seating. 2 waitresses passed me by without a greeting or to let me know that I needed to consult a host first. I arrived at 7:53pm and sat outside without anyone telling me anything. At 7:58 a manager or a male with a polo shirt tells me I need to see a hostess but not to worry about it. The hostess finally comes out (7:59) and denies me the Happy Hour even though it ended at 8pm. Just poor courtesy considering multiple servers saw me sitting and to not honor Happy Hour when I was actually compliant put a poor taste in my mouth. read more

Staying at the hotel upstairs. Ordered one pizza and Mac & Cheese for delivery. The food was delivered completely cold and the pizza was burned to a crisp. The dessert was covered in garlic powder instead of sugar. It was obvious the food had been sitting waiting for someone to deliver for quite a while. Not sure what happened there, however, don't advertise delivery if you can't maintain your standards. It was $40 down the drain .... Not coming back or recommending this place to friends. Update: The manager did reach out tonight and offer us a free brunch for tomorrow morning. That shows a commitment to customer service. It doesn't excuse the poor quality of the food, but he was very nice and I appreciate the gesture. read more

Great place to watch the game. Good burger. Good local draft beer. Walkable from Mary Brickell area.

Came for Sunday brunch. Michelle our server did a good job. Bottomless Bellini wasted on me since I am a lightweight. Ordered churros for app but instead food came out 10 minutes later. Food was too fast for the two hour bottomless deal. Guess that's how they curtail it. Chicken and waffles ok. Chicken had no flavor. The bacon, waffles, sauce and bacon butter were great but not enough to infuse flavor in the chicken. Omelete with short rib was good and potatoes different and good. Mud pie was ok. 4 stars for a great diverse menu and great DJ. Still worth the drive. read more

Love batch !! The food is awesome and the atmosphere is great. They also have a happy hour for ladies night on fridays that you can't beat with great music. Batch is chill spot in Brickell - would definitely recommend read more

Went here with a very large party based on the mostly good reviews and proximity to our hotel. While the restaurant is in Brickell, it is a little off of the main path. Place had that musty bar smell to it, but wanted to keep an open mind because of the positive food reviews. Was not able to get a draft beer or a soda because they were all "down". Food was mostly good and some even said the food was great. Service was good and there was a lot of teamwork with help on our larger party. I don't think we saw their very best. An average experience. read more

Great place for watching a game. Plates were dripping with dishwasher water. Fries and chicken tenders were good, however nachos need improvement, might as well go to the store and purchase tortilla chips, chicken fajitas from froze isle, add some shredded cheese and cherry tomatoes (?). #worstmiaminachos Also, the music is super loud. read more

I went to Batch for dinner last night with a girlfriend. We wanted to try something new and were glad we did! To start, we had the red pepper hummus with feta cheese which is served with warm pita. It was delicious! I had the Free Bird which is chicken breast in carrot mash with asparagus. Honestly, it was the most flavorful chicken breast i've had in a very long time. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the carrot mash was delicious. My friend tried one of their new dishes, the double cut pork chop. I didn't try it, but she said it was amazing. My friend also had the cookie dessert which is a half and half cookie. She had half macadamia and half chocolate chip, she said it was very good. Although the food was delicious, and our waitress was great, the service in general is still a bit wet behind the ears. Particularly the reception. But, i'm confident these folks will get it together and that this place will become a Brickell staple. I'll definitely be going back because the food is way too good not to! read more

I have been following Batch on Instagram since the beginning when they were putting everything together. I went in for dinner on Saturday 1/4/13 and was seated pretty quickly. The decor is pretty cool and the layout of this place is great. I had to Naked Zombie and loved the drink but didn't like the cinnamon after taste (so if you like cinnamon, you should try this drink) the drink I absolutely loved was the Santiago Slim (it was delish!) Had the following: *Truffle fries (which were good but were not what I imagined since they were regular french fries, and expensive for $8) *MAC Attack was my FAVORITE! it was creamy and delicious and super tasty since we added pork belly to it *Margarita Pizaa was AWESOME definitely recommend! *Pork Pot Roast was very tasty but I personally didn't like that the pork was a little fatty but if you like that then I recommend this as well. *Batch Brisket Burger was great the B1 sauce was a little salty for my taste but overall burger was really good. Overall, I would definitely recommend eating here. They also have a lot of big screen TV's which makes it a great place to watch games! What I have to say I loved the most about this place was that they had a great variety of music and at a good level not too low nor too loud. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think the portions on the appetizers are fairly small for the price. Also they have online Reservations which makes it super easy to reserve a table! read more

Alright, let's just start by saying that I'm a pretty tough food critic. This place is definitely top quality! The truffle salted fries... delicious! Gnocchi??? It's tough to find a restaurant that serves good gnocchi.....This one definitely hit it on the mark! The dorito dusted wings... amazing! I can go one and on and on. If I lived in Brickell, I'd be a regular. For the ladies, the bathroom is pristine! While I was in there, one of the employees walked through, wiped down the counter tops and flushed every single toilet! Amazing. Coolest sinks ever. Wash AND dry your hands in the same place!! You'll have to go and see it for yourself to understand why I'm so amused. Way to go Batch! I'm a fan! read more

I have been here several times and I'm still exploring the menu, but so far so good! We love the truffle fries and both pizzas!! Didn't like the vegetable crudités appetizer, I won't order that again. I love the steampunk design of the bar and the layout is so perfect for watching sports at any angle no matter where you are! All the staff are great except the bartenders, they haven't been super friendly. I hope they get more bars on tap soon. The specialty drinks are creative and fun, though. Happy to have this place finally open! read more

So it's been a while since I went to this place. I was invited by one of my fellow Yelpers (Elenita) , she mentioned I could bring my boyfriend along, that was so awesome because it was the first time I was going to meet other Yelpers, this was, as they call it, a UYE , I still have to get familiar with all the terms, I'm a newbie after all. Ok enough about that, let's get down to my experience, we got there like 30 mins late (Miami time of course ;) ) , this place was popping, it was so full in fact we almost couldn't find a place to seat. We were immediately greeted by a smiling hostess who told us we could sit at the bar, so we did. In the meantime I was looking for some faces I could recognize and then there she was Elena herself, I went ahead and said hello, she gave me a big hug and I immediately felt welcome. I said hello to other Yelpers and started our own tab, our waitress was very attentive, I have no complaints there. But I think since we were a large group we could only have a couple of bites of pizza, but I can tell you this much it was very tasty. A band was playing some today's hits, and there's plenty of room if you feel the need to shake that boom boom. We will be back for sure, I am very confident that the food is very delicious. PS: also some of the tables have kegs in (on) them I thought that was pretty cool, you don't even need to move to get your drink... Only in 'merica!!! Lol awesome ! read more

I am writing this review at 5:15pm on Super Bowl Sunday. This review is about the level of service I've received before ever patronizing Batch. So my Super Bowl plans changed abruptly this afternoon, and we were left scrambling for a place to watch the game. With most places already booked, this wasn't an easy feat. Complicating things a bit further was the need to find a place that had vegetarian options. I decided to cruise through Brickell on the bike and specifically decide to check Batch because I'd heard good things. Flynn the owner/manager (not sure which) came up front to address my inquiry about a table for 4 in a couple of hours. I told him it would be good to be in the front so we get a breeze not too close to the front, I didn't want to catch the fumes from the smoke breakers stepping out for a cancer stick. You see, Batch has a very cool set up for watching the game, including sliding glass doors which suck in the outdoor breeze. The only remaining hurdle was the menu. As most places do on big occasions, Batch was only serving off their limited Super Bowl menu. My job was to talk the vegetarians into agreeing to the limited veg options on the limited menu. Now this didn't go over so well with the vegetarians as the wedge salad was the only veg option on this menu. Refusing to fail I called Batch and asked to speak to Flynn. I briefly explained the issue and he quickly responded no problem, we could order vegetarian items off the full menu. Thinking the problem was solved I immediately called the other half of our party to share the good news. All good right....wrong. It turned out we now needed a table for 8! not 4... ummm seriously do I really have to call and bug this guy again. We'll turns out I did and we now have a table for 8 in 30 min. Gotta get going but so far I have to say Batch (or at least Flynn is as good as it gets) read more

Overall good visit during a great happy hour, though I ended up with some concerns about the beer. Though it has been a few years between my last visit, the service was still as attentive and friendly as I remembered. We arrived for some after dinner drinks and even though we were stuffed, we couldn't resist and ordered some food. The kitchen staff did not disappoint. So the nitpicky....I'm knocking down a star-ish because of the beer. I ordered 3 different drafts. Two of them IPAs. The first IPA tasted off/old. The 2nd the same. At this point I wanted to mix it up and changed to bottles, and ordered the Night Swim stout. Only to find that the beer was over it's labeled "best drank by date" by close to 3 weeks. While this beer still tasted fine, for a place that carries a decent amount of craft brews, this isn't OK. read more

We ended up here because some guy on the street was passing out free drink passes on a Saturday night near Mary brickell village. So we decided to walk 2-3 blocks & go get a free drinks before we continued our night. As we walked in we were impressed with the ambiance and style of the place. Really nice!! We planned to be there for 30 min and we need up staying there for 4 hours. We found a spot around the main bar because that's where most people were hanging out. They had a dj playing all kinds of bar music 80s, 90s & today hits. We ordered are free drinks of craft beers on tap (which are reasonably priced $5-$8) truffle fries, & a margarita pizza. The food was amazing filled with fresh flavors but most of all the service was phenomenal!! We were lucky to have Jason as our bar tender who has been mastering making drinks for 23 years. He gave us a crash course of the history of cocktails & learning how to drink bourbon. He was able to entertain us & make all the table orders. Jason is the reason we stayed so long and because of him we will be returning to try some of those amazing looking burgers. The owner is young ambitious and actually took the time to speak to us and hear our opinions of the place. I hope this place succeeds & I hope it continues to impress me :) read more

Went here for happy hour and what a nice addition to the Brickell area! Great happy hour which they recently extended to 8pm that includes food. My friends and I ordered the following: Mac Attack - A twist on mac and cheese, made with gnocchi with a selection of add ons ( I chose caramelized onions and truffle oil) Red Pepper Hummus that had feta cheese crumbles. Charcuterie that allows 3 selections from cheese and meats, I can only remember two of our selections which were (Spicy Salami, Montboissie) Pork Belly Tacos With the gastropub trend peaking, it is nice to not be disappointed. A gastropub that offers all the elements that we Miamians love! It is shiny, new, friendly staff, seating inside/outside, eye catching décor and tall ceilings. I am sure we will be returning. You can "Batch" your bottom dollar! Thank you Hugh for making my splash of pineapple just right! read more

Meh.... wouldn't come back, that's for sure. We were sat after about 30 minutes or so of waiting... then we're NEVER greeted by any staff at our table. After about 10-15 minutes of being ignored... My fiancé ended going up to the front desk and placed a to go order instead (and we only even bothered since we had already wasted so much time waiting to be sat). We went though all that and got the to-go order and still had not been greeted. (WTH?!?) So now that we finally got some food - The gnocchi and cheese with dorito dust sounded exciting but was pretty gross, the gnocchi had terrible texture and not a cheesy flavor at all. The burger was good. Why two stars and not one? There was a very nice blonde girl at the front... and a nice burly guy with quite an impressive beard running around helping out and gave us a nice smile and tried to assure us we would be sat once the basketball game on TV was over. One star for the burger and a star for those two people ... Aside from that ... the staff ignored us as mentioned and there was an especially rude brunette woman maybe a bit older than the rest of the staff. She made it clear we were "bothering" her. She was also working the front with the friendly blonde. This woman was awful. We had just come from the Ultra Music Festival, and it was obvious, so maybe she was a hater on those she figures are from out of town? Or she's just a hater in general... either way, not a person who should be in customer service. Bleh. So many other better places in town we would choose next time!!! read more

This is such a great addition to Brickell! It's very chill and I recommend you go during happy hour since it's half off everything. I had their burger and it was amazing and they have a great an extensive selection of beer/wines. Some of the servers are not very attentive as others. read more

Great happy hour spot! Beautifully and thoughtfully designed--someone spent big bucks on this place and it shows. I had a "cocktail on tap" called the 305 Collins that had great flavor but was walking the line between sweet and too sweet. The nice bartender let me sample another of their tap cocktails which was also too sweet for my taste... And I love "girly" drinks! Also tried the "Mac attack" based on other reviews and it was absolutely perfect in the most understated way. Not too salty or cheesy... Really just perfect. Seeing as I live right in the adjacent building, I will definitely be back! Now I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't get toooo popular! Congrats on a really interesting and delicious new spot. read more
