1) service was excellent. Rachel made sure everything was corrected. Steak sandwich was very good, pizza had a unique cheese and was good. BLT needed work and Rachel made it right. 2) As for the beer, guessing the lines need to be cleaned. read more

Batch Gastropub - Inside looking out - American Near Me - Miami, Florida

Came here for brunch on a Sunday around noon. Food and service was great. The macaroni and cheese here BLEW my mind. Forget that. Gnocchi and cheese with pulled pork. Ingenious thought. And the portion was huge! My brother had the brisket burger, which was also quite the delight. Service is great too. Waiters that weren't even our own server were more than willing to help when we needed something and our waitress was busy with other tables. Great place. Definitely recommended. read more

Batch Gastropub - Pulled pork Mac Attack and Prime Brisket Burger - American Near Me - Miami, Florida

Batch is known as the gator bar which is the reason I go to it so often. They have a great energy for saturday football games and there are bartenders going around at all times. It is a little too crowded for my taste inside but if you happen to get a table (especially outside) it is more comfortable. Others like the big crowd more than I do. Last time I went, I ordered the chicken B.L.A.T. sandwich and it was fantastic. It has so many ingredients, the chicken is seasoned, and the fries are perfect! We also ordered shocktop beers which got us free shocktop gear. The crowd has everyone from recently graduated UF students to older alumn. Definitely a great place to go if you're into sports or bar food. read more

food was great. server and bartenders were super nice. vibes were great. the drinks were terrible. i order a vodka soda and i don't know how but it was really bad. as well as the other drinks. very weird but probably won't go back since the drinks were that bad. read more

If you enjoy watching NFL games on Sunday these guys do have Sunday ticket. Unfortunately they don't know what they're doing and managers will treat you like a jerk if you ask them to put on a game instead of infomercials on tv's. Also really difficult to get a drink. If you're looking to spend on many drinks while watching all the games you're better off at Sandbar in the Grove or Yard House in the Gables. This place sucks for Sunday football read more

I come here like three times a week, I love it. Favorite bar tender is Jen. Ask for Jen. Food is solid and the drink specials are amazing. One bar tender introduced me to a beer (Veza Sur (sp?)) that I've fallen in love with and started asking for at other places. Everyone from the host to the manager to the servers and barbacks are totally delightful and friendly. They're helpful, they get you to try new things all the time. Terrific place. That being said: if Jen -- the bar tender with the ponytail and the violently-caffeinated friendliness -- if she's not around, I'm way less compelled to hang out. Super friendly off the bat, but she's also got like that Bartender Sixth Sense thing where she can see when you dont wanna talk, like if you've had a bad day or whatever, and then it's like, hey, where's Jen? She gave you your space, that's where she is. Gave you your drink and then left you to your woe or whatever. Anyway. Get a drink at Batch. It's great. Ask for Jen. read more

Like most the place had some good, some bad, and some ugly... The Good: If you are in town and staying close go here. We walked from Aloft and caught it on a happy hour which was awesome. If you are there on happy hour I highly recommend you just order off the happy hour menu. Don't be afraid to take your kids. I took the 7 year old and he loved it. In fact, their happy hour chicken and waffles may be the greatest kids meal ever. Mom and kiddo got Dynamite Grouper, chicken and waffles, and loaded truffle fries. They were $8 a piece. Then the drink prices were all half off or so we thought. In this area it was a great deal. TV's with football on it and plenty for the kiddo to watch. Food was very good all around. Wife got elk burger and I got grouper tacos. Both tasted great. Drinks taste good. Service was very good for the most part. The Bad: Pricey. I understand in this area overhead is what it is, but the regular menu items are high for what they are. Not outrageous, but you can spend $20 on a hamburger. You also get 4 oz of grouper spread across 3 tacos for $17. Scratch or not, taste good or not, that's just high. Drink prices are high. $12 - $14 with fairly short pours. Felt like I was in a Vegas rooftop bar on the strip. The Ugly: $14 drinks during happy hour. For happy hour we get told by the waitress all the cocktails are half off. When I get my bill my $14 drink is ... $14. I ask and get told that the happy hour is up to $13 cocktails by the management. Ok, stick with me... There are 2 count them 2 drinks on the menu that are over $13. They are $14. They have 20 cocktails and there are two that are $14. That's just STUPID. You confuse the wait staff and look silly when you stick someone for $7 because you capped the happy hour @ $1 cheaper to save you from pouring your two signature drinks. Anyways, it mostly is a great place. I went here twice during my 5 days in Miami. Go during happy hour but don't get the New Old Fashioned... :) read more

I was here for a networking event recently and really enjoyed the cocktails and appetizers that were offered. Cuba libre had the right amount of rum and coke to both enjoy the taste of its components and achieve the right amount of buzz to network with business people and the sangria was good except no fruit was at the bottom of the glass. What a shame like those who live in Miami but never go to the beach. The service was on point. Sliders were great and juicy. Not a big fan of Brickell but it's a solid choice when in the area for a happy hour dinner. read more

Great happy hour! $8 appetizers until 8pm. Plenty of bar space and chill ambiance. Perfect for an after work drink. The boneless buffalo wings were really good and on the happy hour menu. We also tried the loaded truffle fries that were just the think to eat with my vodka cran. I wasn't too impressed with their specialty drink menu and parking is an issue (as with most places in Brickell) I also read that they have a bottomless brunch on Saturdays for $20. Will have to give that a try sometime and update this review! read more

I finally give it try after I passed by it everyday in my way to work. The ambience of the place is very trendy and the food is amazing. First of all you need to get the truffle fries they are the bomb! Their shrimp lettuce wraps are tasty a super juice where it fills you up. Lastly we got the waffle chickens they were amazing! The place it's great for group to have a great time plus they have happy hours. So Batch on a Friday night... I heard a lot about this place from instagram and thrillist. We didn't call ahead to early and got sat in the back near the intensely loud speaker so that squashed the conversations i was hoping to have. To add to it, the dj has no skill, transitions were awful and music would switch from genre to genre every 45 seconds of each song. Our waiter was sweet but obviously overwhelmed, not as attentive as hoped but it's a friday night so I didn't expect too much. This place is great for people watching because the people are WILD. the other patrons aged 25-40s hard to distinguish. The food wasn't bad but overpriced for portions. My friends made it a good time but I won't be back. read more

I have gone here numerous times before brunch but this will be my last. Not a fan of the changes. This is the first time I have checked in for a reservation snd they tell you in advance when you have to be done eating by!!! She said you have until this time to finish as we need that table. Also unlimited brunch drinks on all printed snd web things it says 2 hours but they only give you 1.5 hours which is also not printed anywhere. Lastly the waitress will remind you how much time you have left in your unlimited. So there are a lot of other places to have brunch who give you 2-4 hours and won't rush you. So my advice check other places first!! Better deals!!! read more

Stopped by at batch for happy hour. The vibe was cool, nothing to brag about but definitely the perfect environment for the game. I got a cucumber gin and sake drink that was incredible. The Hawaiian tacos were good as well, but not quite worth it even during happy hour at 8 bucks. read more

This was my first time coming to this bar and I can say it is on my top five. The waitress Dani is amazing and super attentive. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When asking what cocktail they recommend, i was asked if I like tequila and spicy. Well being Mexican, of course I said YES. I recommend 10000% the cocktail named Entourage. It's different and amazing. Also, the music.... just wonderful. Goes from the 70s to old school hip hop. They play everything and just makes you want to get up and dance. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone and coming back soon. read more

Good place for brunch. Wide variety of culinary artistic takes on classic breakfast foods. Craft beer section and all you can drink options as well. Definitely worth a visit, but beware- not the largest portions and this is a little on the pricier side (it is miami though) read more

Wow! What a change from my last review. We go there every couple months for store meetings and WHAT a disappointment this visit was. They took their signature dish off the menu, chicken sliders. They were the Bomb. They changed their entire menu with the strangest items, elk burgers, etc. Then to top it off, the mix drinks we ordered were over flowing with ice and straw couldn't even go into the glass. All 3 of the drinks were stacked with ice over the rim !? We called the manager over and she said that's their policy to stack ice over the rim.... that tells me that they are not giving the standard amount of alcohol in each drink and charging the same if not more for the drink. Ok, Batch is a sports bar!! Not a fancy restaurant with strange menu items. There wasn't even a basic burger or chicken sandwich. Needless to say, We left disappointed and without ordering food and asking to have our untouched drinks comped! bye batch, we'll miss you! read more

OMG..:) First of all this food my spouse and I ordered chicken & waffles, truffle Mac and cheese with fried chicken on top, and an order of truffle fries for delivery. The food arrived pretty fast within 35 to 40 mins and to say the least it was delicious! So perfect, packed with flavor and love! Wow what an experience of flavors. My spouse never had chicken and waffles before in his life, this was his first time trying it and it was a hit, amazing, and it's bite sized too, so it was perfect, no bones. I ordered my Mac and cheese juicy and cheesy and that is exactly what i got. We will definitely be ordering again with this restaurant. Great! quality! food! Can't wait to go to the actual restaurant next time to enjoy the food and scenery. The pictures tell no lie! read more

Would NOT recommend this restaurant. We waited for over 20 min for a hostess to come to the stand to help us. While waiting for a hostess we asked multiple servers and bussers if they could find the hostess. After still waiting I asked for the manager to find the hostess and explained the situation. Eventually, after a huge line formed out the door while there were multiple tables open, the manager walked over with the hostess. We told him that we were waiting 20 minutes for the hostess and he condescendingly laughed at us and said "I don't believe that" and then rudely pushed past us to the stand. We ended up leaving and went to B Bistro + Bakery instead which I HIGHLY recommend. At least here they acknowledged us immediately and provided great customer service. read more

My friends and I decided to come here for dinner before going out for drinks. Our server Alexander, was quick on his feet to come and greet us and ask for our beverage order. I was in the mood for pizza so I skimmed through the options. I found the wild mushroom and goat cheese pizza to be more to my taste however I didn't realize the size of it was quite large for one person. I also enjoyed a Rogue Hazelnut beer too. This was the best, non-meat topped pizza I've had. Brick oven pizzas are by far the best way for pizzas to be baked! You get the crisp bottom and ooey gooey cheesy pet on top! It came out perfect and the flavor was to my liking. I could only enjoy two slices and boxed the rest. I do believe the waiter favored my one friend as he didn't charge her for one of her food items and scribbled a cute note on her receipt. I think if I did return I'd want to sit at the bar and enjoy drinks and some apps and people watch. read more

I've come here on two separate occasions. The first was for brunch. I had the chicken and waffles and although they were tasty, they were served on a flat plank making it extremely messy when you pour syrup on the waffles. The waiter was not that attentive with the mimosas, which is annoying because she was pushing us out because of a large party set to come after us. Second time I came was for ladies night. Great vibe; there was a ton of people and they offered free drinks on a Friday night which is unheard of... BUT the place just couldn't keep up with it. Halfway through the night a TON of drink orders got put on hold because they ran out of vodka and had to wait for more to come. How do you not prepare and stock up the bar with enough vodka. The drinks were also like 90% juice. I had like 3 cranberry vodkas and couldn't even drink anymore because the sugar was just way too much and I knew I would get a headache. It tasted like there was no alcohol. If you're going to host and hype up big miami events like ladies night and Sunday brunch you need to do better. read more

I visited Batch for the first time last June.  I had the Batch Attack Burger and it was AWESOME!  Everytime I go to a restaurant, I look for the burgers, because I'm a burger connoisseur!  It was really big and filling, but it got an A+! I sat at a booth and the server was friendly and kept up with my water, which I drink a lot of during my meals. That is what I base the service on!  The next couple times I visited, I sat at the bar.  Jennifer was my bartender each time and she was always great!  She was friendly, and made sure all the guests were well taken care of while she was seemingly busy!  I ordered the Brisket Burger every other time (because the Batch Attack was way too filling) and it didn't disappoint!  The chef was on point with my meat temp, and the toppings were always fresh! Next time I'm in Miami, I'll definitely be back!!! read more

The bartender Kahlia tried to charge me a 47.28 dollar tab when I only had a 15 dollar tab. When I complained she questioned me and gave me a really bad attitude. Another bartender had to make the correction on the tab. I was very upset about it. However, Kurt, the manager really stepped up and apologized and was very friendly. I would give the place another shot just because of him, as long as I don't have to deal with the same rude bartender again. read more

Great Pub, interesting beer selection, but the food makes the place stand out. The mac and cheese is just genius, its gnocchi smothered in amazing sauce. Also had the Batch attack burger, which is a burger with caramelized bacon and a mac & cheese croqueta on top, sure it sounds like to much but I really recommend it, is up there with Lokal's stuff. Looks like a sports bar most days, but Friday is ladies night and the place gains a Wynwood type feel. read more

The menu says that happy hour starts at 3pm on weekdays. My friend and I happily ordered a few drinks because we noticed it was after 3pm and therefore happy hour. When we got our check, our bartender tells us that the restaurant hasn't changed their menus yet and happy hour starts at 4pm. All she offers is a shrug and a sorry. Isn't this something you should tell your customers before they start ordering drinks? Why do you think a random person would come to your bar on a weekday at 3pm? I'm upset at how it was handled by the bartender and how there was no accountability on the restaurant's end. If you decide to go here for happy hour, make sure to ask if it is, in fact, happy hour because you could be played and have to pay double than what you expected. Edit: the owner sent me a message privately, which made complete sense. He took ownership of what happened, which is why I'm changing my review to 5 stars. I have never received such a kind message and seen accountability from an owner. What had happened was that the computer system thought that it was still a World Cup day (there were no games on the day I went), which is programmed to start happy hour later at 4pm. So in essence, had a World Cup game been on, i would have been charged correctly. A fixable error, and handled amazingly by the owner. Visit this restaurant! Drinks are great and food looked great--I was just confused about the pricing. read more

I had bookmarked this place because the menu and drinks looked great. Was totally surprised at how good it was. The bf had the brisket and short rib burger and added an egg and cheese. He said it was surprisingly really good. I had the Mac attack with grilled chicken and mushrooms! Omg! Sooo delish! The only suggestion and not so much complaint is the volume of the music. It was so loud our poor waitress kept say "I'm sorry can you repeat that? The music is so loud I can't hear". Not sure if it's because it was a Friday night that it was like that, but that's all :) read more

Got a side salad to go along with the burger instead of the friends and received something not completely appetizing. Most of the salad was old and rotten. Not a pleasant replacement for those fries. Sunday football in the fall, this spot will cover the basics. Bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's for $20 aren't a bad deal. Ordering a few mixed drinks, they weren't strong or weak for the price. The Carolina Hash with pulled pork, potatoes and fried eggs are top notch. Sitting at the main bar, we saw 4 orders come out within a few minutes of each other, clearly speaks volumes for the dish. Environment was young professional but not overly loud, club-like or scantly. Would say it could be family friendly aside from noise from the TVs or music. Y'all were great! Great Friday night vibes! I had so much fun!! Yay batch! Wooooooooo

I love batch! They are great for a Friday night! The line was not long and the music was great!

Ate dinner here - ordered the heirloom tomato + buffala app. While eating the cheese I noticed something strange and flipped it over to reveal a whole, pickled wasp on my plate. Took 10 minuets for the waiter to come to our table, and we pointed out our plate - his response was to laugh, take the plate and said "I'll get you another one" NO APOLOGIES. NO EXPLANATIONS as to why there were insects in my food. Outraged, my friend alerted the head host who was mildly apologetic, but also offered no explanation or response that seemed appropriate for their transgression. Friendly bartender but really mediocre food. Fries tasted old...we asked for fresh fries, they then tasted like very old reheated fries. ‍
