Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. It's super close and walkable if in Brickell. The new happy menu is great!

GonzoEats back at it again. This time with a spontaneous find. My wife and I wanted to have brunch and came on Yelp to search ended up here at Batch. We had reservation so we got seated really quick but wasn't too packed so either way would have been quick. Host was nice and waiter was great as well. Had the menu down packed and greet recommendations. We had the chili lime fried cheese, gnocchi Mac and cheese, hangover hash and short rib birria omelette. The fried cheese was good however nothing out side of the typical dish. The sauce though did elevate it. The gnocchi Mac is different for sure. Not traditional noodle/pasta so texture was more of like a potato. Overall not bad and the dorito dust was an interesting touch. The hangover hash is were it was at for sure. The blend on the burger is perfect and the egg great touch. The short rib omelette feel like the short rib was tough not as breakaway and soft as I've had elsewhere. Could have been sitting longer than needed but still good. The drinks they are bottomless so who's gonna complain. Overall could come try this place out and they have. Bunch of things to do all week, karaoke, live band etc.

Heather was an awesome bartender. She took great care of us. Her bar was full and rocking, but we received personalized service that never felt rushed. The Agave Fizz was one of the best cocktails I have ever had! It was tart and refreshing, a rarity in the land of sweet margaritas and mojitos. We loved the Bavarian pretzel appetizer. It was so fresh and soft, and the dipping sauces were amazing, a great spicy mustard and creamy queso. The bar itself was gorgeous, it looked like smoky quartz with color changing lights...super fun. The entire restaurant was spotlessly clean and the team was high energy. It looks like everyone enjoys working there. Mike, the manager on duty, was super accommodating and hospitable. Thank you to Heather and Mike for an awesome dining experience!

Batch (n) a bunch of items that on plain view aren't related.. meaning that we tried a well "batch" a different brunch items and left very happy. A group of friends invited me for a football brunch this past Sunday to talk, indulge, imbibe and catch football. Located in the lobby of a Brickell condo, Batch is spacious enough whether you want to work while drinking (as one of my friends was doing) or just enjoy sports and drinks. Once our group got to our table, the Yums started flowing. Sundays they have unlimited mimosas for $10 until around noon, an absolute great deal. Mind you, I'd already started with their spiked Nitro cold brew (cold brew coffee, Baileys and Pecan Whiskey) aka a cafe con leche. Besides the aforementioned "cafe con leche" as well as a few classic mimosas, I also sampled the 2017 Goose Island dark beer ordered for the table. As far as food, we sampled through pretty much their entire brunch menu. My main order was the Chilaquiles garnished with radish, an over easy egg as well as nicely seasoned beef on nachos. I had a chance to sample my friend's chicken and waffles as well as wings & fries. Of course I ordered donut hole desserts: both the maple bacon as well as their Cap'n Crunch ones. Both were topped and delicious. Our server Clarice (yeah like in the movie :) was an All-Star in taking the various complicated orders of our large group on a packed football Sunday. The owner/manager also came by and gifted us some dolphins swag. He was also equally attentive coming by to check on our group, how we were enjoying the meal. There are a lot of TVs inside the restaurant so it's a perfect spot to catch a game. I can definitely see myself stopping by again!

Batch Gastropub was a great experience from start to finish. You walk in, it's your typical neighborhood Cheers bar with live sports, electric music and conversations. Kristen, my server, was incredibly friendly and showed real expertise in guiding me through the menu. Although the Thanksgiving specials initially peaked my interested, I ultimately decided on the Buffalo Chicken Nachos and wings -- all packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Also, the Pecan Whiskey... wow. Such a smooth drink. It surprised me how many folks were here on Thanksgiving, but that just showed me I wasn't alone. I applaud this restaurant for opening its door and providing us a wonderful staff during the lonely holidays. Great service, great food, and a spot I'll definitely return to.

We came here for live band kaoroke night and had a blast! I was shocked at how delicious the food was and their drinks are great too. The servers were super friendly and great as well. They do different specials and nights so I recommend checking them out sometime. They also offer a parking discount in the attached parking garage which is great.

We stopped here after a long flight. The service was friendly. Loved the boneless chicken wings and the hot honey chicken sandwich. It has a great atmosphere and their home made mixers are amazing.

I love a neighborhood sports bar and Batch never fails. In a place with dozens of TVs hanging all over it isn't about the food, it isn't about the waitstaff (though they are very nice), it's about the people, the laughs, the memories you make over a beer and a sports game your only kinda paying attention to. It's always a fun time and the vibes during a big event are great. You can sit anywhere in the restaurant and have an unobstructed view to at least one tv. Vegetarian options are limited and the food may be a little over priced but it's still a great addition to Brickell and a welcome home to all sports fans.

Mio K.

It's really hard to go wrong with any occasion at Batch. You tell me you want to go for brunch, to watch one of many games they have playing on screens all over the place, to get a drink on their Whiskey Wednesday promotion, to get a happy hour drink, to get a nightcap, to get dessert after dinner elsewhere in Brickell, to stay for ladies night at 10pm on Fridays, I will be there. I'm always up for an excuse to go to Batch! This restaurant/bar is pretty much my favorite place to watch any sports. First because it's really hard to find sports bars in Miami, and second because they put on all the tournaments and major sporting events (World Cup, Olympics, NFL, MLS, MLB, NCAA, F1 racing, tennis, you name it. Maybe they'll put on dog sledding if you ask?). Third because the food is actually beyond your standard sports bar menu, so your friends who don't watch sports still can enjoy something. Coming to Batch for NFL Sunday is a vibe, even if you don't have a team. Watching everyone cheer for their players is real good fun. The food is always solid no matter what you get. For brunch, I've gotten the Hangover Hash, which is fun because you got a shot of light beer right on the skillet. Of course I shoot it after my first bite of food. It could be a little more flavorful since it's essentially a brisket and short rib patty with not much seasoning, topped with cheddar sitting on home fries. It's still a dish I'd want if I were hungover. The Carolina Hash may be a little more flavorful with its rich barbecue sauce and fleshy grilled peppers. But with any hash, the eggs will be done right, the way you order them. My over easy eggs are always fantastically runny. The wings are always a good idea to share---they have a little crisp to them but good meatiness to carry the tangy buffalo sauce in your mouth. My friends and I got the Pecan Chocolate Chunk Blondie, Bourbon Bread Pudding and Key Lime Pie to share one evening (don't judge, you know you want to try them all too). The bread pudding was endlessly comforting with its gooey caramel, the key lime pie was nice but had a little chalky taste to the filling, and the blondie was the surprise winner, chock full of pecans and chocolate chunks and so darn dense. I cannot help but get the bottomless drinks ($25) when at brunch here. This is one of the few remaining brunch places where you can switch between mimosas, Bellinis, and sangrias as you like. I like starting with a mimosa for the nice orange juice they use, then moving to the Cherry-Apple Red, a sweet but flavorful original brunch cocktail with apple juice and a color so deep that you feel sophisticated. The Ginger-Peach White is fruity sweet but with enough zing and fresh fruit that you know you won't get a headache from drinking 3 more of it. Service has usually been a solid experience here. The manager is always visible and comes by each table to make sure the meal is good and to address any needs. I'll be here thinking of my next excuse to return!

Bianchi R.

Food was surprisingly good. I love the donut holes !! My favorite was the frutti pebbles and I also liked the maple ones. I got chicken and waffle as a main and the bottomless mimosas (it does have a time frame they serve these). Service was outstanding specially on a football Sunday! It's very sporty environment so if you like sports come in here :) .

my awesome sangria served by Heather after breakfast and brunch. my first visit to Batch

great brunch and great service. noted the staff all around was inviting and lead with warmth. got to know names quickly. honorable mention Heather. Upon my seating at the bar, she interacted positively but clearly genuine. the total opposite of "aloof" - "being conspicuously detached, reserved, or emotionally distant from others." i began the brunch and was directed to a number of options. She came across invested in my enjoyment of my time there.( thus leading to addtitional purchases and food choices). i did share that i would submit this review. Heather is a breath of fresh air while conveying professional standards and boundaries.

Visited Batch for the first time on a Monday morning (President Day Holiday) for a soccer match and parking was super easy as they had their own garage and validate. Which is super convenient especially in downtown. Given it was a Monday morning it wasn't packed but staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had a pretty good size menu with a good variety of bar friendly food items. As I was with my kid we went for the unlimited boneless chicken wings (aka chicken tenders). We crushed about 4 plates lol. Each plate came with fries which were also perfectly crispy and fried. Definitely a great deal especially if you are with kids. Staff were friendly and they checked in on us many times. They even were nice enough to bring in the beer from the home team we were watching which was a very nice touch. Overall a great location to watch a game or bring a crowd for some drinks. Definitely will be coming back.

The place was empty for lunch, so it was quick service. I really liked my burger, but I expected more from it. I have had better burgers at other places. Also, the truffle fries were great, but I couldn't eat too many of them. Maybe it was just me. I did get a free beer for checking in which I really appreciated. The ambience is great, the service was very quick, but the prices were not the most affordable. $26 lunch is a bit high for my daily lunch budget. read more

Leaves something to be desired. I had the veggie burger and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. The patty of the veggie burger easily fell apart which made it difficult to eat and the flavor wasn't the best veggie burger I've had. Same for the chicken and waffles that they weren't quite out of this world. The atmosphere was really great though. Outdoor seating with super fun music is what brought it up a couple stars! The servers were great too. Served us pretty fast but took some time once we gave our card. All in all a pretty okay place because of the food but great for hanging out socially for a few drinks. read more

Came here for a Saturday brunch with my friends and we had a good experience. I made a reservation the night before and was quickly accommodated upon arrival. The restaurant was not busy so we had our pick of seating and chose a hightop table so that we could be inside while feeling like we were outside. We each opted for the unlimited drinks which included your choice of mimosas or sangrias. Our waitress had a fabulous idea of just bringing different platters of drinks so that we could all choose different ones - and boy, we never had empty cups. The food wasn't anything memorable but it was all pretty tasty. It's definitely a great spot for a large group to grab brunch! read more

This is my go to place in Miami. They have great food, great drinks, great specials, and great people working there. I followed them on Instagram and the account answered all the questions I had because a lot of my friends wanted to see a UFC fight and we had to change our reservation a couple of times. They show all of the fights and big games. We just watched the Copa final and UFC 264 and the place was one huge party. I recommend the chicken nachos. It's such a large serving that they should start offering them free if you can finish them. I can smash some food and I still have never finished the chicken nachos. There's also parking next door. read more

We have visited this establishment several times. We are local residents and liked having this place next to us. I'm not sure what has happened since August but this place has gone down hill. The last three times we've tried we have had beyond awful experiences but I won't bore you with the details. Last Sunday we decided to give them one more chance (shame on us). When we got there we were immediately greeted and sat. The music was loud and the crowed was good and after 10 min of not being greeted by a server we just decided to order some food from the bar to go. A server noticed we were getting up and rushed to ask if we had been greeted. We said no it's okay we're just going to order food to go. She apologized and offered us a couple drinks on the house which we politely declined. We ordered two chicken blat sandwiches to go. And went on home. At first the fries were soggy and cold. But half way through eating the chicken my girlfriend realized that both chicken breasts were only cooked about half way through. I boxed it back up and took it back to the restaurant where I was greeted by a manager saying, "what did we screw up?" I showed him the chicken and he asked if he could remake it. I said no thank you and just wanted a refund. Doesn't seem like a huge deal. But as often as we've been in there and had other issues with the food I was hoping that the manager would have offered something other than a recook. I commented on there social media page in regards to being displeased multiple times in hopes someone over there would reach out and try to resolve the issues and there response was to delete my comment and move on. I can't for the life of me understand what the culture of hospitality is there. Just be aware of the quality of your food. read more

Came on Saturday to sit by TVs and watch a UM vs FIU game at 3:30pm. The hostess goes on to tell us that since this is a "Gator bar", if a UF game is playing at the same time , they will not put on the UM game . It was unnecessary to even state this because the UF game didn't even start until 7pm, so yes , our game can be put on. Then she goes on to tell us that if we are still at our table , even if we're eating and drinking , by 6:15pm, we will be asked to get up for a UF reservation. I'm sorry, but this is absolutely ridiculous. What a way to make us , a party of four, feel welcomed as soon as we walk in . The disclaimer was pointless. The pork sliders were good though . read more

Came back again to one of my favorite spots in brickell yesterday to watch the UM Game with my daughters what a disaster. Let's start with the whole stand there was a new hostess there I didn't really catch her name but she couldn't find the time to even greet us. She ignored people standing right in her face and just answered the phone as though we all didn't exist, she didn't know how to seat people at all she just stood there like a dear in the headlights no knowing what to do. Thank god for sending Asia who I saw bussing tables as I walked up I figured to make room for the other guest waiting. When she came back you could see the frustration on her face but she took it like a champ apologizing for the wait and got everyone seated as the other girl just stood there she didn't even help Asia seat any of us she just basically ignored her duties Next to my server Pamela she was ok which she smiled more she just looked aggravated with the world. She was quick about getting us our drinks but disappeared for long stints of time. Then my drinks still could have been better the ladies night I came to three weeks ago the guy with the dreads made me a perfect drink theses all tasted rushed I understand it was busy but more soda then anything for every drink is crazy. My food was awful. Our pizza was black around the edges basically burnt and the mac attack was cold had to get it reheated in the end my daughter didn't want it any more. The only good thing was our starters the chicken wings and the spinach dip. Overall the canes lost and so did batch this past Saturday. It will be a while before my daughters come back and me as well guess we will be finding another hangout spot to watch sports guess I'll try this again at batch maybe fire the Super Bowl. read more

If I could give negative 5 stars i would. This place was horrible. Our server horrible, so many issues in the way she handled our table. I wish she would've introduced herself so that I can include her name but of course she didn't. Had an attitude when we let her know the issues and was not apologetic at all. With such horrible service we thought we'd mention It to the manager and that made no difference. He was very rude unapologetic as well and showed no empathy to us as customers. I will not ever go back here and i suggest you don't either. read more

What a horrible experience!! I ordered two simple things pizza and chicken wings, how you mess that up!! 1) Chicken wings were horrible, definitely 2 -3 days old that were reheated and delivered to us. 2) The pizza , Korean short rib, was super spicy (never mentioned on the description), soggy and with barely any short rib. At least I got my money back after I called to complain. read more

Unfortunately I am a Brickell local and did not receive a good service here. We were a two top and they said all tables were booked. I watched the 4 tops seat empty for all the time we were there, sitting on a closed bar. Nobody approached us to give us service. I talked to the manager looking for help, I said I wanted to order food, still didn't get any service. We come from the restaurant industry, a general manager and executive chef, we understand understaffing and everything what happens specially during these times. But not willing to satisfy guests needs is a different story. Never say no, try to find a solution, I guess they never learned this lesson. read more

First time at Batch and I will say the food was amazing. I went for brunch and the avocado toast and chicken gravy and biscuits were to DIE for. I give 2 stars because the service was disappointing. The host was super friendly but my server immediately announced she was new (which is perfectly fine) however, it seemed as if it was her excuse to not show her face more than 3 times to the table. I never got water refills or ordered more than 2 drinks for bottomless. I work in the industry so I am very patient and understanding. She did also flat out say "I don't know the menu yet that well I'm sorry." New or not, a guest never wants to hear that. You could at least pretend you do or fake it to you make it. I'll be back for the food but I hope the servers have better manners and are knowledgeable about what their selling. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to try getting to a trendy pub down here whilst visiting a buddy who lives in Coconut Grove and needless to say, from Wisconsin with love, they produced. We tried the truffle fries and their protein packed version of a carnivore pizza (The Divine Swine). The place has a great atmosphere; it feels young, but professional. Beer selection along with their cocktail selection is great and being from the land of supper clubs and Old Fashioned's in the upper Midwest, I can attest that Miami is the one place I can say is on point besides Cheesehead Nation, this being my second time down to South Florida. Truly a great experience, Joe was a great server to have and although we're not hard people to serve nor did we ask a lot of him, he did all the right things and was very energetic. The pizza was great, Enough said. The arugula on top lended a subtle spiciness, and when combined with the astringency of the asiago, it was a great power combo. The truffle fries, I almost forgot, were literally mind blowing. They were almost sweet because of the truffle oil, but the pungency (yet again) that comes from the Asiago cheese that is shredded on the fries adds a bit of tartness to the bite making it a pleasant experience on the palate; lightly salted and just the right crispness. The creamy aoli served with it is made with a light and effervescent hefeweizen, which is known for its notes of clove and other spices; it compliments the fries brilliantly. I reiterate it was a great place to spend an evening. read more

Batch is known as the gator bar which is the reason I go to it so often. They have a great energy for saturday football games and there are bartenders going around at all times. It is a little too crowded for my taste inside but if you happen to get a table (especially outside) it is more comfortable. Others like the big crowd more than I do. Last time I went, I ordered the chicken B.L.A.T. sandwich and it was fantastic. It has so many ingredients, the chicken is seasoned, and the fries are perfect! We also ordered shocktop beers which got us free shocktop gear. The crowd has everyone from recently graduated UF students to older alumn. Definitely a great place to go if you're into sports or bar food. read more

3 Cheers for proper use of the word "Gastropub!" Hip hip HOORAY! After moving to sexy sexy Miami from Brooklyn a few months ago I made up my mind to embrace Miami for all that it is. Batch was a work in progress when we first arrived and since it was right across the street from our place I was stoked from day one. As soon as we saw activity stirring inside we walked over. Instead of pushing us out the door because they weren't officially open to the public the staff gave us a tour and told us what they're about. I'm a sucker for a passionate team and great story so this made me thrilled before even tasting the food. We made reservations for New Year's Eve. We skipped the clubs and covers to ring in the New Year at Batch. I'm sorry to hear everyone had such bad service because we definitely didn't! Even when the servers were bogged down with drink orders minutes before midnight we could walk over to the bar and pay cash... That blonde bombshell that someone previously mentioned was great under pressure. Maybe I'm used to the NYC bartender neglect but she seemed to get to us in a perfectly timely manner. The drinks are spectacular. The infused liquors are what makes Batch unique so TRY THEM! The cocktails are dangerously good down to the little details of crushed ice with balanced flavors and large cubes when you order a nice dark liquor on the rocks. I have to give props to Tony because his face lights up when he talks about the concoctions. As far as the food goes here's the honest-to-goodness feedback: Hummus- the feta cheese is an interesting touch. A lot of people don't care for feta but I think it works with the atmosphere and what they're aiming for with the menu. Shishito Peppers- Fun and fancy. We tossed a little salt on them to give them more flavor than just the spiciness but it was a great snack with drinks. Mac Attack- Note: I kind of wish I knew it had pork in it. I ate around a little of it to be greeted with a nice gooey texture. I love gnocchi and it assisted the melt-in-your-mouth factor. It's great but I won't get it again because re: pork. Brisket Burger- My man ordered this one. He got the no-frills version and loved it. He's had a lot of great burgers and gave this one his stamp of approval. It was super messy in all the best ways Farm Fresh Pizza- At this point my gal pal and I were tipsy so we almost ate the whole thing. I'm sure if we skipped apps (don't) we could have finished it. This is probably my favorite thing on the menu because it is the product of the word "gastropub". It's topped with local veggies, housemade arugula pesto, and fried eggs and thrown into a wood-burning oven. It's everything that you would hope for in an upscale restaurant and it's an oily delicious pizza. This is probably going to be my go-to and, guys, you can reheat it and guiltlessly eat it for breakfast the next day. Phew. Okay, I'm done. I will say this, though. If you want to indulge and celebrate food and drink with some fun people take them here. It's one of the special spots in the neighborhood and unlike anything else we've seen here in Miami. It's spectacularly out of place. read more

I went out on a date with a guy i met online. You want to hear the good news or the bad news first? Bad news: The guy was totally drunk and a dick the whole time. Good News: Batch fucking rocks!! So i was supposed to meet this guy at 8:30. I was running late and got there at 9. I told him i would be late and he seemed cool with it. Not the case when i arrived. He must have arrived real early and started drinking or he must be a "light weight" because he was piss drunk by 9pm. It reminded me of the episode from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, when Charlie goes on the blind date the gang sets him up on, and he's sweating and bleeding all over the place, that was this guy. lol He made a comment about being late and i ignored him, but then i caught a wiff of his breath and it smelled like rubbing alcohol. That was a quick strike 1 and 2. I ordered a drink, that the server recommended, and it was delicious. We exchanged small talk, i am usually very open, but i avoided excessive personal information because i was not comfortable yet. I went to order a second round, and my date then proceeded to order a shot,(to go along with his long island still half full) and i asked him how much he had already drank tonight. He told me to mind my own business. I ended the date right there and went to the bathroom before i went to leave. When i came out he was gone. I asked the waiter where he was, and he said that the guy paid real fast with an attitude and left. At the same time a manager had approached the situation. I think his name was George.(shorter, slick back hair, colombian i think) I told him what happen, and he offered me a seat at the bar and a drink on the house. I told him that i was about to order a second round before i ended the date, so i accepted his offer. The bartender made me the drink with ease. He told me these drinks would be served from the tap in the future. I can't wait to try them. What a great concept!!! The bartenders were really nice and telling me how they just opened. The decor was exquisite for a bar/pub, as you can tell lots of time, energy, and money went into this concept. The ambiance and energy was upbeat, seemed as the place was filled with lots of young professionals looking to enjoy their weekend. I had no idea of this place because i'm not from the area, but even though i had to deal with the douche bag for a little, it was worth the discovery of Batch. I will DEFINITELY be bringing my girlfriends out here next time i have the chance. read more

Very disappointing. My friend's and I came in because we noticed the bar wasn't packed and I was excited to try this place. It seemed like there were some good reviews about Batch. We were immediately sat by the hostess and she told us a server would be right over to help us. We waited for about 10 minutes for a server to walk over to take our order and I thought maybe they were understaffed for the night but we had to flag down multiple staff to ask if someone would take care of us. Normally, I'm a very patient person however we waited about 20 minutes before the server notified us that they were out of stock for the alcohol one of my friends wanted. The bar wasn't busy at all, in fact there were bartenders standing around. The other 3 drinks we wanted were brought over by other servers which which for some reason required 3 servers to bring over. Had we gone to order at the bar we would've received our drinks much faster. So we proceeded to wait for our food and at this point we were very frustrated and thought maybe we should just leave but we didn't want to walk out if the food was being prepared we would feel bad about wasting food. Again, no sign of our server. Finally, we received our food and asked for a couple more settings since there wasn't enough silverware at the table and it seemed like no one wanted to help. I asked another server if we could see a manager because this was ridiculous... waited for another 15 minutes. We couldn't wait any longer as we were exhausted so we asked for the check from another staff member since there was no sign of our server, big surprise. Eventually he should up with our check and bussed our table so fast without even asking us if we wanted to take the remainder of our food to go. The manager never came to the table so we just went ahead and left. Thanks a lot for the terrible experience... read more

Came here on a Sunday which means...BOTTOMLESS mimosas! Came with a group of 6 people just before lunch time. We had to wait a little bit since we were a bigger group. As soon as we sat down we knew what we wanted. We all got the bottomless mimosas for $20 apiece. A fun fact about the bottomless mimosas which applied to half of the group is, if you drink fast enough, they will actually upgrade you from a champagne glass to a pint glass. This was great news. Now as for the food. Almost everyone in the group ordered food. I went with the well-known Mac attack and boy was it delicious. Everyone else who ordered food at the table enjoyed their dish as well. But we all agreed mine was the best (we did a sampling of each). The Mac attack was full of flavor, unique tasting, and overall hit the spot. The portions I have to add, are also a good size. So no worries there. However, I was surprised at the slow pace of service, at least for our table. The drinks, the food, the check it all took a little longer than it should have. Another thing was our waitress. She was friendly, but just made us a feel a bit rushed with our orders or maybe because she seemed to be rushing made us feel like we needed to speed it up. Either way, the interaction could have been better and the service could have been a bit quicker. However, for everything we drank and ate the price was terrific. And they have plenty of televisions for any sports games. I will definitely be back! read more

Came here for dinner last night as we were walking around the area. Checked Yelp and saw this place had pretty good reviews. The food and drinks were great, but the service was awful. We got in at about 7:50 and the place was kind of empty. It was still happy hour until 8pm so we quickly ordered the boneless buffalo wings, an order of truffle fries and a few drinks. Our drinks came out promptly, but after an hour of waiting for our food, we finally asked our server what was going on with our food and she said she would go check. She came out and told us there was a mix up with the tickets, and the food would be out soon. We then waited another 20 minutes before our food finally got to our table. The food was delicious which made up for the lack of service, but still was disappointed about having been there for so long without having any food. When we received the check, we looked and the waitress charged us the full price for the appetizers, most likely because she never even put our order in during the happy hour, but it was not much more, so we didn't even say anything because at that point we just wanted to get out of there. Giving this 3 stars. 5 stars for the food. 1 star for the service. read more

We are writing to express ourselves in referance to Lea, one of your bartenders. It is because of her we have become regulars at batch. She turned around a bad situation with a blonde Latin girl one busy Friday night about a month back ..... The blonde chick was every bit rude n unprofessional to my friends n I. It was obvious she did Not want to be there that night! This is when Lea came to r rescue w flying colors......she practically physically grabbed us n made us stay despite the apparent bad service....winning us over w conversation, humor, laughter n wit beyond imagination!:) the girl knows her shit too , despite being EXTREMELY busy with a very large n demanding brickell crowd, she told us all about batch history n cocktails......not to mention the girl knew every drink recipe we threw her way lol!!! Just wanna say u guys are LUCKY to have her she is an AMAZING BARTENDER and has such a gift behind that bar, and I'm sure I am not alone in this sentiment! She's a ppl person and has style n grace beyond any imagination, thanks batch !!! :)))) we love the place n enjoy ourselves there very much. Last year at Brickell's cinco de mayo party, I scored a cute baby t-shirt with Batch's logo on it...followed them on fb for 7 months until they opened, and it was worth the wait. Batch is the kind of place you want to go to for happy hour, stay and hang out and watch some games, and continue drinking tasty cocktails into the night. I really appreciate that they stepped up and thought about a food menu that offered different takes on comfort bar food (everyone has some kind of mac and cheese, but batch does this bacon-gruyere gnocchi....also you can get jalepeno poppers anywhere but sea salt blistered shisito peppers?)..yeah, batch sets a high bar for really tasty food with a higher level of sophistication (aka, gastropub). The bar staff is really friendly and totally willing to give you tastes of the drinks on tap....and don't start thinking this is some sort of classy wet willies (oxymoron?), these drinks are legit and strong. Apparently they grow their own herbs, make their own infused simple syrups, and small batch for a super consistent and fresh tasting drink. Heard they are brewing their own ginger beer....i'll be back for that too. read more

I usually sit at a table the few times I have been to batch but this time I wanted to give the bar a try, so last week I did just that ......... And let me just say, what a total b*** h the girl was.....zero personality, and when I asked to see a menu on the beer selection, she rolled her eyes at me like I was putting her out for the extra three steps to the where the menus where. There was another gentleman there too, kind of there it looked like doing other things n just helping her out......it was last Wednesday evening and I will never forget that is the day I went cuz I will make sure I do not go there on the same night next time, in case that is her reg shift. Batch all I can say, is u guys do an awesome job w your amazing food n spectacular cocktails, but I'd give lil miss attitude back there an adjustment in interaction w bar patrons and teach her a little bit about the basics of smiling n having nice conversation w ppl. She's bad for business and w you guys starting out, u don't need that. The best of luck and thanks for taking the time to listen to my observation. Sorry for the "one star," but I had to for the bad bartender :(( read more

Recently moved down from atlanta with my new bride and we were told to check out batch. It was packed when we came in last Friday night. I can see this is the place if u want to see and be seen! The atmosphere is funky! We had a group of about 6 trying to get drinks at the bar which at first Glance I thought was going to be impossible. ......then ....... we were flagged (literally lol) over by this cute lil brunette who at the speed of lightening , banged out 6 cocktails in a matter of seconds and boom we were taken care of she was the s*** She even let us know the kitchen was open all nite.....so we got a pizza and steak bites. Pizza awesome the steak kebabs were really small and the kale seemed to be burnt rather than just fried .. ? All n all we had an enjoyable evening at your pub. Food decent service extraordinary. One thing is the prices are a tad high I'm not from the area so maybe this is acceptable notsure ?? ...... We'll check em out again would love to sit at the self serving tap tables next visit peace! read more

This is one of the best happy hours in all of Miami. They have happy hour from 5-8pm which includes half priced drinks and $8 bar bites. They have an amazing cocktail menu with fizzy house cocktails on tap (I had the blackberry bourbon lemonade and it was excellent!) They also have bottomless boneless wings on Mondays for $15 and the wings are excellent (lightly breaded and crispy!) Although I haven't been for brunch, I saw on the menu that they have $20 bottomless brunch on Saturday and Sundays. I have friends who have been for ladies night- on Fridays from 10pm-1am ladies drink free here and it turns into a fun bar with an open floor. It has a upscale sports bar vibe with lots of big TVs where they show sporting events. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because the service was really really slow- I didn't mind too much because we were enjoying our time drinking and eating but it did take a really long time to get the check and put in additional orders. read more

I've been to Batch about 4-5 times now and I can honestly say that I have seen both sides of the coin. In some cases when I've visited with "friends that know people" the service has been great regardless of how packed it was that day. In other cases I've brought groups of friends with me and have had service so terrible that it made me look like a clown. The food in my opinion is pretty consistent in terms of quality and I would rate it above average across all my visits. The place is definitely not cheap, but I feel there is decent value for the money - I think it's on par for high quality food and drinks in Brickell. The restaurant is less than two blocks from my house so I could have very easily become a regular by now but I haven't gone out of my way to do so because of the inconsistent service. If I recommend Batch it is always with a grain of salt and the warning that service is hit or miss. read more

The bathrooms are the highlight here. After that you are hard pressed to find something to enjoy. 1st they have taps in the middle of high top tables that are not functioning, I guess they are there to remind you to go get another drink. 2nd they do not care for age requirements, while there I saw a girl get carded and told she could not enter, a few minutes later she was escorted back in by what I assume is a limited fake kardashian husband that after a brief word with a "bouncer" was let back in. They must lack the testicular fortitude to stick to their own rules. is the food bad? I wouldn't know, I was kicked out of my table to early to order because they had a reservation for that particular table. No we were not offered another table just told to move. should you check it out? Sure if you're a cute under age girl that looks like you've only shopped at forever 21 it's perfect for you. read more

Was there tonite with a friend 4 the first time since thy opened and must say i was quite impressed. Even though I was a tad disappointed to learn they didn't have makers mark -my favorite bourbon- Lia , knew her stuff n listed all the other bourbons they carry we both ended up with Bulliet, great selection. Had the duck nachos & meatloaf & batch Caesar w/ chicken. The grub was served hot and delicious and was timed perfectly as we had asked for in the beginning, our drinks were always full & were engaged in some stimulating conversation with the gal who took awesome care of us. Rare to find all the above factors in a single bar (location) these days in Brickell, esp a "real" bartender ! lol. We got the full run down of batch happenings too....seems to be a nice product u guys r promoting. My only suggestion is get Makers Mark ! :-) enjoyable evening guys read more

Wow! Where to start? The decor was gorgeous- one of a kind. I stopped in Saturday, the fourth night of being open for Batch from my understanding, and was pleasantly surprised with everything. I tried the 305 Collins on tap cocktail, which was Absolut vodka, mint syrup, passion fruit, and to top it off it was carbonated. How do they do this in house? The bartender was raving about the barrel aged progam- Spring 44 Negroni and Bulleit New Fashion. I went with the Negroni, it had a complex aging process I was infromed- 6 weeks. I would wait another 6 weeks to have another one. On to the food, chicken wings, they were prepared with the confit technique. Need I say more? I then had the brisket burger- cooked to perfection with just the right amount of juice. This will be my new spot in Brickell, and I recommend you give them a shot too. read more

Definitely has potential to be amazing, but falls a little short. I have to say that the place looks great, really nice lit up island bars and it certainly makes the place look cool. Good beers and cocktails to accompany it as well. The bar food was decent, some of the dishes are much better than the others, my favorites being the Gnocchi Mac and Cheese, Truffle Fries and Lobster Fritters. It's got a nice atmosphere late at night, but the problem I had with my visit was the service. Definitely friendly, but way too slow. Every time I asked the waiter for something it would always take 15+ minutes before he got back to our table and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Next time if I visit again, I'll hopefully be a little more impressed! read more

Had an awful experience last night. Delivery was extremely late. I ordered a burger and rib eye ($47.00) through Eat24 . First the e-mail I was sent said the estimated delivery time was 50-55 min, few minutes later I got a text saying the restaurant was busy that it will take longer for my order to be delivered. Long story short it took an hour and a forty eight minutes to get a cold burger and cold rib eye (Still feeling I got robbed). Called twice while waiting, both times I was told the driver was on his way and this place is just a few blocks from us. Second time the lady who answered the phone said she will speak to her manager and call me back...Still waiting for her call. I will never order from this place again! read more

Excellent drink served here! I came with a group of friends and we ended up drinking one to many bottles of beers, mojitos, and sangria. At first I thought the alcohol was super low and I was about to complain but out of nowhere the drinks ht me. That's when the day got fun! The only problem I had and the only reason im not giving it 5 stars is because unfortunately there was only one waiter walking around the day I went so service was a bit slow. However, they did give us a free round of our drinks on them so I was more than happy to accept it. So yeah, this place works better as a bar but I didn't dare to try out the food since I read some reviews about it. read more

This place is FREAKING AWESOME! They just opened this week and I'm going to be going there every weekend. The food was awesome, one order got screwed up but the managers came over and took care of it right away. They have cocktails on tap, how cool is that? They literally poured my bubbly passion fruit drink in 1 second and it was the best drink I've had in Miami. The servers and even support staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, it's nice to finally have a great local spot to go in Brickell. The bar looks super cool, its like glowing marble, and it had a really awesome atmosphere. Everyone there seemed to love this place, wicked cool! read more

We recently visited Batch in Miami to watch the Copa America final, and we had a fantastic time. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for the game. We ordered traditional wings in both Nashville and Buffalo flavors, and they were cooked to perfection. We also tried a burger with no bun and truffle fries, which were absolutely delicious. It's been a while since we've been here because we live quite far, but if it were closer, we'd be regulars for any sports event. Of course, Batch is great for other occasions too, with a variety of events always happening read more

Please note they have an 18% service added to the bill. The worst part was the bathroom experience. They're down a badly-maintained staircase behind the host stand, through an untidy/messy lobby (we saw piles of dirty towels and someone's bike). I ordered the maple chicken pancake slider, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. There was barely any meat--just two very thin slices of chicken sausage and a couple of small pieces of bacon with some shredded cheese. The dish is advertised as coming with egg, but since I'm allergic, I couldn't eat that component, making the lack of protein even more noticeable. Overall, the portion felt insufficient and far from what one would expect from a quality meal. As shown in the photos, the sliders lacked substance and did not reflect good value or thoughtful preparation. The meal was unsatisfying and, in my opinion, not worth the price. For these reasons, I would rate the food a zero. That said, not everything was negative. The atmosphere of the restaurant was enjoyable, with great music creating a pleasant vibe. Additionally, the staff--including the hostess and waitress--were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Their professionalism was the highlight of the visit. Pros: * Friendly and attentive staff * Pleasant atmosphere with good music Cons: * Extremely small portions * Lack of advertised meat in the dish * Not accommodating for an egg allergy * Poor value for the price Overall: While the ambiance and service were commendable, the food quality and portion size were deeply disappointing. I hope the restaurant improves its menu execution to match the otherwise positive dining experience.

The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The main courses included the seared salmon with beluga lentils, chicken tagine, and mushroom risotto. The risotto was the best I've had. The salmon also was perfectly cooked. The chicken deliciously spiced; the couscous was either undercooked or needed to be fluffed. No room for dessert, but who could resist. Would this be the case if you were dining with your family? Food waste is such a problem in our country. Perhaps this restaurant is part of a system that donates food to shelters.
