This review has been a long time coming. I have ordered cakes twice from Kymoto Co and each time I…read morehave been so happy with my order. To start the process, I emailed Kylie and let her know what I envisioned for my cakes with some pictures attached and the date I needed the cakes. Please note that you do have to order a month in advance. Kylie let me know that there is a minimum purchase of 2 cakes when ordering lunchbox cakes so I ordered 2. The actual cake is vanilla flavor and you have the option of choosing vanilla, strawberry, matcha, or cookies and cream for the buttercream filling. For my mom's birthday, I chose a light purple cake with a cute floral design and strawberry buttercream flavor ($40). The second cake for her birthday had Van Gogh's starry night with vanilla buttercream flavor ($45). For my birthday this year, I ordered a light pink cake with a floral design and matcha buttercream flavor ($45). My second lunchbox cake was light purple with an angel hello kitty design and cookies and cream buttercream filling ($50). It's really cool that you are able to customize your cakes, although it does get pricier as you add more details. The lunchbox cakes come in a circle shape and are the perfect size. There's enough cake to share with a couple people, but it's also not too much cake if you wanted to just enjoy it yourself. :) Once you are set on the details of your order and your pickup time, Kylie sends you your invoice. After that, all you have to do is show up at your designated time to the address provided. Kylie includes cake care instructions for you as well to ensure that your cake stays in good condition until you are ready to enjoy it. I have appreciated the quality of the cakes and I love supporting small businesses so I will definitely order again in the future. Thank you Kylie for your beautiful designs and attention to detail. Your cakes have brought a smile to my face each time and my loved ones have also enjoyed!

She was communicative and kept me up to date and sent me photos. She delivered the order with care, and gave me advice on how to keep it fresh until it's ready to be served. With a guest of over 50 people (kids and adults), the cake and cupcake was a hit with everyone. My friends were complimenting on the blueberry cake and asked me who I had made it. A lot of my friends and family loved how detailed the cake was (with the Bumble Num theme) and also asked who made it. Overall, great experience.

Jenn is now my official go-to for beautiful customized delicious cookies!…read more I first tried Sweet Justice vanilla sugar cookies at my nephews first birthday - Jenn was recommended by a former customer to the birthday boy's mom. I thought the cookie was actually REALLY good, so I contacted her thru her website which was conveniently on the back of the individually wrapped cookies to inquire about cookies for a baby shower I was throwing. The website asks for plenty of details so you get exactly what you want! You can even upload photos of design inspirations. She responded to me promptly with pricing. I believe the pricing is very fair for the quality. Overall, communication with Jenn was great. My cookies were packaged and delivered carefully in 2 boxes. I received the most beautiful baby shower cookies! They were a HUGE hit and disappeared quickly! The cookies were too darn cute to eat! The momma-to-be also ordered cookies from Jenn for another occasion. So I've tried 3 different batches of Jenn's vanilla sugar cookie with royal icing and they all consistently tasted perfectly sweet and soft! Not only are her designs gorgeous, but the cookies actually taste good too! I also received a sweet handwritten thank you note in the mail! Like what, seriously.. I should be thanking her! If you scroll thru her instagram, you'll see all the different types of super detailed cookies and cakes she has. She also has her availability posted on her page so you gotta book quick. I'd HIGHLY recommend Sweet Justice Cakes for all your baking needs!

The cream is super smooth and filled with actual durian pulp--no artificial flavor at all. The sponge is so light and fluffy that it almost melts in your mouth, and it pairs perfectly with the rich, fruity durian cream. I already love fresh durian and durian ice cream, but this was my first time trying a durian cake, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The 6-inch cake was $68, so it's definitely a treat, but I'd happily buy it again. Just make sure to order a few days ahead. The service was amazing too. Since it was our anniversary, they added a cute "Happy Anniversary" sign to the cake at no extra charge. When we picked it up, they even reminded us to head straight home because the summer heat could affect the cake. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their cakes and want customers to enjoy them at their best. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!

Communicating with her is incredibly difficult -- every question feels like pulling a toy from a puppy. I called to get updated pricing on a cake we discussed, and she suddenly quoted an outrageous $200 for a small cake feeding about 10 people, just because I wanted fresh strawberries. While searching, I accidentally called a second number she uses without realizing it was hers. She hung up on me, then texted me saying I "needed to find another bakery." As a young African American woman, the way she spoke to me felt dismissive and disrespectful -- like she assumed I didn't know any better. That experience made me extremely uncomfortable and completely turned me away from her business. Save yourself the headache -- do not order from this baker.
