It as good to learn that Sub Zero could help me out with that wish, and also Little Calf Creamery in T.O. and Westlake Village also can oblige. The good news about Sub Zero is that you also get to enjoy the magical experience of watching the creation appear before your eyes, with the added high drama of the liquid nitrogen "show". I was able to customize to get a plant-based milk base, with the addition of mint flavoring and chocolate chips. It was delicious - creamy and flavorful. Perfect to sit outside with on their patio space in the late afternoon sun. Their building overlooks the hills to the south, which offer a pastoral view. It would be even lovelier if large power lines didn't run along Cochran at this point, but what can you do? The staff member behind the counter was very friendly, and super helpful when I told her that it was my first time to visit. Dear Hubby had been there once before. I believe he tried their Halo Halo, which is one of his favorite desert treats, and not easy to find in Simi. We will definitely be back, and I can't wait to take Sweet Granddaughter (just turned 7); she'll be blown away by the whole experience!

I gave this place a shot again today and there was a small kid in front of me that kept dipping her fingers into her cup and then sucking her fingers off, about four times total. It grossed me the heck out, but I avoided the handles she touched and was at that point SO thankful that she was not touching the whole toppings bar, handles and possible toppings. Her little brother started coughing while at the toppings bar telling the employee his preferences, and again I was SO thankful that the toppings were enclosed by plexiglass and not in the open for his germs to fly on as he did. Bottom line, I realized that this setup (though seemingly 'less fun') is WAY more hygienic and actually made me feel a little queasy thinking about all the other times I went to open bar froyo places and touched/ate all the little kid grimy licked finger handles and coughs. This actually will become my new place of preference for this reason! It was weird and uncalled for. Get a grip on your establishment. Look at all these reviews about your employees and the cleanliness of the place. Your general statement after each review does nothing to make us want to come back. Whoever owns this location - you should reach out to me via private message. This is the second time one of your employees has acted completely inappropriately. Between the customer service and the lack of cleanliness, your employees are going to ruin your business.
