This place is so filthy I have no idea how they have an A rating from the health department. There were crumbs and ice cream everywhere... the chairs, the tables, the floors. When there were no customers at the counter the employees hung out or went to the back instead of cleaning. Not only is it filthy they were out of basic items like sugar cones, waffle cones and chocolate ice cream. I'm not sure it's worth the drive to come here again. And the health department would have a field day with the mess I'm sure! read more

Horrible customer service. The 2 teenage girls that work in there didn't tell anyone that the card reader was down so they let me and other people stand in line for 20 mins waiting to pay. I am giving two stars because I never got to actually have any ice cream (which may be good.) I walked in to the sight of four, count them, four employees standing around talking while one of them was helping the customer before me. After awhile, two of them left, I assume it was the end of their shift. As for the other two, one was continuing to serve the family before me and the other one started cleaning something along the back wall. I was never acknowledged or told, "I'll be right with you," or anything. I overheard one of them tell the current customer they were out of waffle cones. I had wanted a waffle cone, but figured I would just skip that part. This was at 6:30 PM, nowhere near closing time. After a few more minutes, I just left. Now, here is the real rub. The business is very limited in scope. Ice cream. Many flavors, a few ways to dish it out, and a few specialties. Not very complicated. I don't blame the teens working there, they don't really know any better. It is the clear mismanagement and lack of care by whoever the idiots are who own the place. It's not like it takes a lot of brainpower to run it, just a lot more brainpower than the owner. I guess the saying, "It's better to be lucky or rich than smart" really holds true. Came here about 3 in the afternoon. The two people working the counter were so very slow. 20 minutes for two milkshakes. We ordered two medium shakes a chocolate and vanilla. They didn't have any vanilla ice cream so no vanilla shakes. So we ordered a cookie dough and chocoalate shake. My chocolate shake was terrible. It was bitter, and not smooth or creamy at all. It was very powdery tasting. (made by the woman) The cookie dough shake was awesome. (made by the guy) Even though we both ordered medium shakes we got one huge one and one small one??? $15 is a little much for two shakes that are subpar. By the time we got our shakes and sat down the line was through the door, so we just tossed the one shake and left. Also, there were cleaning supplies on the same counter as their dishes being rinsed for use. The ice cream shields were also left open. The overall cleanliness was not very good either. Wow. Just went in for a quick stop for ice cream on our way home from dinner. "Kid" working was extremely rude. Didn't greet us...didn't say anything at all. In fact, when my husband was a bit indecisive, the guy rolled his eyes. When he rang us up, he didn't even make eye contact or tell us the total. No thank you. When I told him he was being rude, he walked away. We have been there many times, but won't be back. I came to this store tonight and encountered a long line with only one person working. There was a note on the register that you have to have exact change or use a card. When it was finally my turn, I ordered a single scoop in a cup, and said I am a senior (so I'm entitled to a discount). When she rang me up, and I stuck my debit card in the point of sale machine, I said "$4.02 with a senior discount?" She said "no, I forgot to put it in." Imagine my surprise when my debit card had already been charged without my PIN or authorization, and all she could say "sorry, my manager isn't here to give you your money back." Horrible customer service. I have been here several times and each time has been worse than then prior visit. The first time I went, the employee serving my ice cream declined to offer me any toppings. However, they cheerfully offered toppings to the individual I had come in with. I asked for toppings afterward and they were able to put them on. I shouldn't have to ask, but whatever; I let it slide. The next time I came back, new employees were working. Both employees had bad attitudes and seemed like they did not want to do their jobs. Again, the employees refused to ask if I would like toppings on my ice cream. When the individual I came with asked if they could put toppings on it, the employee chose to only put a random peanut butter topping on it and did not ask if anything more was needed. I never requested this peanut butter topping at all. I kept staring at the employee, thinking that he was going to ask what I wanted, but this was not the case. Very strange. They could work on the cleanliness a bit, but the spectacular service makes it easy to overlook any minor issues. I got a double scoop and asked for Belgian Waffle and Cherries Jubilee. I guess I should have watched her but when I got home I realized I got German chocolate instead of the Belgian Waffle. She did the same thing to my husband who also asked for the Belgian Waffle. I had to ask for a lid three times before she paid attention enough to get them for us. We were there tonight, Saturday 8/26 about 7:30 pm, and the girl who helped us was a young brunette with braces. Our total was $10.02, and I had $10.01. I have no problem paying for my food, but she could have let the 1 penny slide, instead of making me break another $5 bill. I've grown up eating Baskin Robbins and was very much looking forward to a treat I hadn't indulged in in a long time. Let's just say I won't be back, at least not to this location. Don't order cakes from here. I gave it a star because I had to in order to leave this review. Ordered 2 cakes online 3 days prior to pick and paid online. The Sunday I was scheduled to pick them up at 3 pm, I called at 11 am to ensure the cakes were ready. I was told they were. When I sent my son to grab them at 3 pm, (mind you, I have a house full of guests finishing dinner and getting ready for birthday cake), he calls to tell me that they don't have the cakes. I ask to speak to the manager, who apparently was trying to get the cakes from Litchfield (about a half hour away). I told him I was coming to the store. I get there and I'm greeted by 2 smirking teenagers, who think the entire situation is hilarious. I'm told by the "manager" that I can pick any cake in the store, they only had one like what I wanted. I ask to speak to the owner, I was refused. I wasn't offered a refund. I grabbed a cake, because at this point, it's been 45 minutes and I have guests at home. So, there was no attempt to rectify anything, just an attempt to get rid of me by the 2 teenagers. I will never order a cake from here again and the 13 adults and their children who were waiting at my house won't, either. There's a DQ not too far from me. We'll go there. You should, too, if you actually would like to have your cake at the time when you order it. read more

Typical Baskin Robbins. Really good ice cream, service was what you'd expect from a couple of high school kids. Had a hot fudge sundae with pralines and cream and peanut butter & chocolate. I would have liked to have quarterback crunch but the sundae was still tasty. The interior is a little run down, could use a little freshening up. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I brought my toddler in for a quick treat. There was a young girl taking our order. She tossed my daughter's cup of ice cream on the counter with an attitude. I didn't mind it because it was late and just wanted to get home. I went to swipe my card and this particular employee threw her hands in the air and told me to "swipe again". Being that it was loud inside, I asked her "excuse me?" Again she threw her hands in the air with frustration and shouted "swipe it again, swipe it again!" I kept my cool and asked her why she had an attitude and her response was "I'm just exhausted." We love Baskin Robbins, but have never had a good customer service experience at this location. Tonight, we were greeted by the staff rudely saying "we close in 10 minutes." The only worker that was doing anything glared at us while we decided. They were out of the flavors that my wife and daughter wanted. Another customer entered and was told "we close in 6 minutes." She was smart and left. As soon as we walked out the door, it locked behind us at 9:56. Do yourself a favor and go to the location on Lake Pleasant. It's a drive, but worth it. That location actually has 31 flavors and the customer service has always been great. read more

Went in ordered a Banana split and hot fudge sundae. They just make one scoop and it is small, paid $11.22 for small scoops of ice cream. We asked for a refund, we paid by cash, were told that they do not refund and was told that corporate would have to refund our cash back. When asked for owners or general manager information, we were asked to leave the premises, then the crew were laughing at us and discussing things to customers in line. My family & I are regulars, but after dealing with a manager that isn't capable of making a smoothie correctly, then says it's because of the ingredients used after we've had more than 2 employees make a smoothie perfectly fine and not watery. It made our experience go down the hole. If this guy is the one running the show then I do not want to visit while he is working. Horrible expeirence and worst smoothie ever! Had a bad experience at this location tonight. We stood in line for over fifteen minutes no one helped or greeted us. Finally a young black kid said what do you want. He took my one scoop in a waffle cone . When I got the cone it was so soggy my fingers sank into it. I told the worker it was extremely soggy. He looked at me with a blank stare and said that's the way they came. I told him I wasn't paying for that cone and to please make me a new one. He did. My friend that I was with was at the other ice cream case and still hadn't been helped. Another latina girl was standing right in front of her cleaning the window. By now my friend was upset. She asked the worker if she was going to help the ten or so customers that had walked in or just clean windows. The worker said. "I'm cleaning your not my boss" my friend said well then where is your boss she said she was the manager.. . Complete rude.
