Ice cream is amazing don't even need to explain baskin robins ice cream! Really needed the shake with some caffeine! The twitch ice cream is perfect! They kept their store clean and the customer service was amazing!

This is exactly what you'd expect of a BR. Nothing special but also nothing bad. I had a child's scoop of mint chip, and cookie dough. Both were how one would assume. Other than nostalgia this BR satisfies. there are plenty of other small batch or family owned places to try in the Bay Area. My friend enjoyed the Cookie Monster flavor.

My go to is Baseball Nut...with extra fudge in a waffle bowl. The other flavors are meh in my opinion. Nice friendly folks.

Same color paper decor I found look exactly like my icecream cake!!

We order 10ppl cake. Look at this huge cupcake looking icecream cake. So cute!!! Everyone loves this cake. Take more than 30mins to defrost still too hard to cut, need to wait even longer than 10 mins they advertised. $45 well spend! Service is good and they are so friendly! Amazing talented staff.

I stopped at this Baskin-Robbins on my way home. It's a small shop, with a large common parking lot. The clerk/order taker promptly took my order.....2-scoops, chocolate & coffee. She quickly had it ready, then I had to wait to pay. While I waited, I snapped some photos for Yelp. Lots of fancy cones and toppings to choose from. 2-Scoops, price $6.29. Now, I'm not an expert on ice cream, but my coffee ice cream had ice crystals in it. Does that mean the ice cream is old? Or is the freezer faulty, and allows the ice cream to melt? The chocolate ice cream was creamy, sweet and perfect. I sat outside and ate my ice cream, and watched a steady flow of customers go inside the Baskin-Robbins. Nice location near El Camino Real & South Shoreline Blvd.

Dirty vents. Not cleaned in decades.

Busy place. Standard baskin robins. The place does need a deep cleaning. It is disgusting to look up at the vents and think about it blowing into your food.

Princess Lea is the best! She killed the design for both my daughter's birthday cakes! Will continue to order!

Kids like the polar pizza but the effort is starting to fade here on the cake writing. See for yourself.

The lady behind the counter was rude and there were a bunch of small hairs in my ice cream. I nearly threw up.

Good ice cream, but they won't let even the elderly or kids use the bathroom, so makes it hard to enjoy.

Ice cream was apparently left out of freezer too long and was soupy, quality should be better controlled.

I ordered an apple croissant, banana chocolate croissant, kouign-amann, baguette sandwich, and an iced mocha. It took a while for my breakfast to arrive. The iced mocha was warm because the ice had melted, but it was easy enough to fix with ice from my freezer. I'm pretty sure it had no coffee in it, just oat milk and hazelnut dark chocolate, which was perfect in my book. I drank it fast. It was my first time trying a kouign-amann, and I'm still not sure what all the fuss is about. After a couple of bites I moved on to the apple croissant, which had almond cream and a cinnamon apple compote in it. It was delicious, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet. Next was the banana chocolate croissant. I was disappointed when I cut it in half and saw how little chocolate there was inside of it, but once I tasted it I realized it was just right. The bananas and almond cream were very, very sweet. It was scrumptious with powdered sugar and sliced almonds on top. Later in the day I tried the baguette sandwich, which had Brie, sliced apples, jambon, arugula, mustard, and garlic aioli on it. It was good at first, but then I had to remove the Brie because it overwhelmed the rest of the sandwich. The apple tasted great, but I pretty much love anything with apples on it. All in all it was an interesting breakfast and I'd gladly return to try more of their sandwiches and desserts.

Once you step inside it feels like you're transported to a cute little Parisian patisserie. The interior is elegant and relaxing and the staff are friendly. We ordered the Fleur de Pistache and a mango pastry which I believe is called a Mango croissant but I honestly forgot (it may also be seasonal). Beautiful presentation so 10/10 for that. As for flavor the Fleur de Pistache was good - texture was great but I do wish it had a heavier pistachio flavor. The Mango croissant was crispy and fresh. Both items weren't overly sweet which is what I look for in pastries/desserts so I appreciate that. I didn't get a coffee this time around so I can't speak on that, but I'll be back again to try the coffee and their other pastries. Overall, it was a great experience and worth the visit!

Some of them don't even go to any other bakery besides this one and as such, I was excited to try their pastries. I got a combination of both basic items such as their croissant and their more decorative items such as their Paris Brest. The fundamental difference between American pastries and their French counterparts is that the latter are much less heavy and sweet and in that sense, Maison Alyzee does a good job. However, that quality really isn't that important to me unless I'm making baked goods at home or having them at a friend's. When it comes to a bakery, I care more about nuanced flavors, tastes, and textures and in those aspects, this place didn't really blow me away. To put it this way, I would rather travel to Midwife and the Baker and have one of their croissants at a cheaper price even if it may be more of a sugar bomb. I was actually contemplating knocking off another star because of how much the pastries cost an arm and a leg (almost $10+ for some of the individual items). In the end, I decided against it because this bakery is the first I've visited where the pastries both look nice AND taste good (Paris Baguette and Alexander's Patisserie, take note). Overall, this place is good if you are looking for pastries that both look and taste nice. Perhaps my palate is just not sophisticated enough but I just don't get any unique taste that warrants them being the most authentic French patisserie in the area. Personally, I would visit Midwife, Craftsman, and (soon) Arsicault in Palo Alto to get a more "quality' pastry.
