The people that work here are really nice and sweet. My elderly mother goes to this location a lot and the girls are always so patient with her. Her English isn't the best and she's indecisive (lol) but they always have such respect, plus the ice cream is pretty darn good. I like the different cake designs too. read more

I'm sorry but I have to say that the ice cream is always my favorite and I love BR ice cream but not the staffs though. It turned my ice cream half of taste down. Plus .. This the 2nd time consecutively that ive been served a banana split in a mini portion of scoops just like for kids. My gosh, their scoops are even airy, their fudge syrup slides on the side, i ask if they cld put more on top for a presentation but the lady sd she already put. What a messy presentation. That was the first. Second, same thing small portion. These kids are really trained to just do this as if they own the business n they dont wanna ran out of it. And one thing more to observe, they store containers or any frozen food on top of the serving containers. This is nasty! I hate it when i give one star to a worthless business! read more

This is our go-to ice cream store and we always leave happy and satisfied!! They make amazing cakes and have plenty of great options (we've been ordering cakes from them for the past five or six years of birthdays and they always turn out great), and their ice cream is AMAZING. All of the flavors are great, the workers are helpful, and overall, it's just a great place to satisfy your dessert cravings. 5/5 would highly recommend. read more

This has got to be one of the worst Baskin Robbins around. I really wish they would train their staff better and keep the place cleaner. Also they seem to constantly be out of flavors. The teenagers that staff the counter are not very friendly or efficient. Scoop size varies with server. I go to this Baskin Robbins store on occasion, but there are a couple of things that really bother me--- 1) Stop scooping the last 1-inch of the big tub of ice cream and plopping it on top of a new fresh carton. It's disgusting. I go in to get the flavor cone I want, and there on top of a brand new opened carton of ice cream is a big BLOB OF MELTED GOO! Needless to say, I move onto another flavor. I think the health department needs to review your processes. Just throw it out when it gets too low... or I got a better idea--- The owners can take it home and eat it!!! 2nd thing that grosses me out is I notice that the employees put the ice cream cakes on top of the tubs of ice cream (in between working on them) to keep them chilled while they do this or that--- I suspect you have a big walk in freezer for that, right? Use it, because I don't want your dirty cake bottom that you've been working on contaminating the ice cream I'm thinking of eating. Maybe you need a refresher course on sanitation? The health department isn't far--- call and make an appointment. I'm sure they'd be happy to stop by and help you out. read more

I only return here when I really want ice cream. The management needs to do something with the staff though. They don't usually greet when you walk in. No one smiles. One girl yawned in my face. This is a general review of BR ice cream cakes. What Baskin Robbins calls a 1/2 sheet is NOT a normal size 1/2 sheet cake. It's more like 1/4 sheet or 1/8 of a sheet. They claim it will feed 12. There is no way this cake will feed 12 people. At $42.00 (tax included), it was a rather expensive cake for the size. We ordered the Thomas (train) chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream for my nephew's birthday, and I must say that it was very cute. The ice cream part of it was fine, but the cake part of it was not very good. It was hard (dense is what I would call it). Perhaps that's what it needed to be in order to hold the ice cream on top. I will never order an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins again. read more

The store rep Agnes: I am still waiting for some sort of reimbursement from the ice cream cake that was unprofessionally done. I ordered a half sheet of cake with specific colors and decorations. Your employee (probably fired by now) was so incompetent. Thank you for delaying my cake by 45 min. and the terrible decorations/name of my daughter which had to be redone a few times and it still ran off the edge of the cake. Horrible customer service. A girl serving us gave us half-filled scoops and was unfriendly. She put the cup down and literally FLICKED it over to us across the counter with her acrylic nails - very rude and unprofessional. After, she stabbed both spoons in the middle of the scoop. I try to go other store to find it and I couldn't. and I think Milbrae Baskin Robbins has more flavors than other stores. I went today to use the coupons but acting manager didn't know about coupon at all. I was so mad because she's a manager and she didn't know what her job is. She couldn't handle today problem so the other customer was complaining to me. Long line up. Today was my birthday she ruined my big day . I will never come back millbrae store. Ice cream cones are good, and still reasonably priced. My main complaint is that management, who sets prices, shows no respect for their customers when they want almost $40 for ice cream cakes that are merely family sized. And $8 for a milkshake??? I will not even seriously consider their other products until they bring the prices down closer to reality. read more

This has got to be one of the most unhelpful stores in the entire area. It's like they don't care at all about having repeat business. I called 24 hours in advance to reserve a cake. The day I was to pick it up, I called over 2 hours in advance to see if I could pick it up an HOUR early. Mind you all they had to do was decorate it with "Happy Birthday ____" This is evidently too much trouble for them. I went into this store on Sunday, 12/29/2013 and specifically ordered a two-scoop strawberry sundae with Vanilla ice cream. The person who served me asked me "everything on it". I said no, just whip cream. When she gave me my order, it just had two scoops of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. I asked her where is the strawberry sauce and she put it over the whip cream. I said doesn't it normally go on top of the ice cream. She then had the nerve and said I asked if you wanted everything on it. I told her when I ordered I asked for a strawberry sundae with vanilla ice cream. She completely messed up my order and gave me rude service. I am never returning to this location again. read more

On top of it the ice cream is delicious! out of the millions of times i've been there, the variety of ice creams never fail me and i have a lot to choose from! The staff is always nice and helpful. It is a small location which is easily accessible, it looked very clean. And there is a decent amount of parking outside due to it being located in a plaza.Came here to redeem a pint for pint coupon after donating blood. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he doesn't like any type of cake, not even ice cream cake. So i wanted to get a pint of his favorite flavor, Icing on the Cake. The store was empty so I was right in front of the line. Young attendant was not very friendly and they didn't have many of flavors available including the top three that my boyfriend preferred. It was Monday in the middle of the day. I looked in the freezer and I saw a pint of ice cream which was Icing on the Cake. I asked if there was any way to redeem the coupon and I would pay the difference and the cashier said "IT doesn't work that way". Not wanting to go to another BR I just grabbed the snickers flavor. I wanted to get a candle which there were none left at all but the number 0 which was tiny and was over 3 dollars. If I didn't have a coupon to redeem and I was in the Millbrae area I wouldn't go to this location again. read more

31 flavors always does the trick, better than the frozen ice cream at the grocery store and not as expensive as Coldstone, though I still like Coldstone. The guy is very friendly, asking how Thanksgiving was and answering any questions. I love how you can try samples as my niece tried a sample and ended up getting something she loved. I had the adult scoop of prayleens and cream in a cone; mmmmmmmmm. What a clean atmosphere with KOIT playing their Christmas music, perfect while my brother's girlfriend did some black Friday shopping at Kohl's (see my review.) My niece fell in love with the Arrial ice cream cake which she wants for her next birthday. read more
