My first time at this location in Stafford but I've been to the one in Fredericksburg. Location was clean and the environment was serviceable. We ordered a couple pizzas which were decent but I would say slightly overpriced. What was definitely overpriced was a can of ginger ale was $3. That's crazy! What was disappointing was the level of service. It is a walk-up and order place and the person taking the order just stands there looking at you. Not a smile or welcoming demeanor. I'm overall, not terrible just not a high level of customer appreciation to me. Just my opinion. Your food has to be spectacular to overcome this level of service and then spin the screen around to request a tip.

First time trying this place out. I was a little overwhelmed about walking in and having to order right at the counter. I saw that they had a printable menu so you could sit down and look, but I didn't see it until after I panic ordered! I settled for a combo, half salad and a half sandwich. I guess I didn't read the small print where you had to be selective about the salad, so I ended up getting a Caesar salad and then I tried the chipotle avocado chicken sandwich. I also got a side of potatoes which were crispy and very delicious. The side costs extra, which was as bummer cause some places give you a side for free. The sandwich was good and had a huge chunk of chicken on it. The salad was fresh and crispy. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but there was plenty of seating. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly, they were very quick to clean our table as we finished with dishes, and I also bought a piece of bread pudding to take home, which was amazing as well.

I was recommended by coworkers to try it out. I have friends in town and we decided to try it out last night. Lots of items on the menu. We ended up with a calzone and the Greek pizza. I heard the calzone was delicious. Greek pizza was delicious. They have the pizza oven that goes in a circle. So that crust gets cooked good. The pizza was just like I had in Italy. The desserts were many and looked great. I'll be back to get that soon.

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening. Ordered a Meatball sub with a side of Cole Slaw and a bottle of water. They give you a number to place on your table and I went and found a place to sit. Food was delivered to my table in about 10 minutes. Pretty solid Meatball sub. It was meaty, filling, and tasty. The Cole Slaw appears to be dressed with a vinegar-based dressing - it was somewhat underseasoned. It could've used some additional dressing as well. The menu has some interesting pizza combinations. I may try some of those in the near future. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. Overall, a good experience. #Basilico

Visited the restaurant for lunch. We were the first to arrive with clean tables and napkins stocked. The service was very good, the staff were polite and very attentive of our needs picking up plates and delivering our food quickly. We ordered some shareable appetizers and mostly sandwiches and salads. The sandwiches and salads were good and made as specified on the menu. The homemade meatballs were sub par and cheese sticks were oily.

It was our first time visiting this place, me and the family decided to give it a try Saturday for lunch, and we were very glad we did. The employees were very nice and friendly and helpful we made the mistake of ordering from the take out kiosk and they let us know that we had ordered take out when I clarified that we wanted to eat in instead they were more than accommodating to our needs and quickly took care of our order. Food was very tasty and had a nice presentation as well, Italian food served quick. The place very clean and decor was so nice modern and well organized. We will definitely be coming back to give the rest of the menu a try also the pastries were delicious

Had a great visit to Basilico this week. The restaurant is a casual but upscale-leaning restaurant/ gelateria/ deli, with delicious food! They make the best pizza in the area- and it's european style! Service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit!

Service was great and the new store looks amazing. Only complaint is the food just wasn't the best. Not saying it was horrible, but it wasn't flavorful. It was bland. Reuben looked great but couldn't taste the thousand island dressing, had to ask for extra. Eggplant panini was missing some spice. Ordered pasta salad but received potato salad. Antipasto salad was beautiful but still not overwhelmingly delicious. Meats were hard. I would try again, but maybe the Fredbrg location. Ambiance was just fine. Gorgeous store and very roomy.

We decided to pop in for an afternoon date while strolling around downtown on a Thursday afternoon…read more The place was relatively empty, but considering the time frame it could have not been reflective of the food or service. the restaurant is quaint with a simple aesthetic not overdone in the traditional way that Italian restaurants can have of going overboard. There were about ten tables total in the establishment. We were greeted and our waitress did her best to navigate all of our questions. She was friendly enough during our visit, and attentive enough without hovering. We decided on an assortment of items based on our conversation with the waitress about what was made in house versus sourced pre-prepared. The menu is front and back but it is not overwhelming by any means. They have a nod to some Chicago classics by having the Italian beef sandwich and Italian sausage but that is it for the specialities. I thought I saw a Chicago Dog online but sadly, they did not have it on the menu. First up: what we ordered--We got toast as an appetizer, and I got a small Italian salad. My husband got the calamari and I got a fish sandwhich with fries. I don't often finish my food so we decided to share it. I got a sweet tea to drink and my hubby got a gin and tonic. Let me preface this by saying the food was absolutely beautiful. Like picture perfect, but it was certainly a mixture of perfectly cooked items I could pick up at the grocery store I believe. The garlic toast was the frozen toast slices you get from the grocery store (you know in the yellow box) perhaps id imagined crusty bread or something that required effort but alas.... It was cooked perfectly though, so no complaints other than it came with three slices and nothing to dip, so I used some of my husband's marinara sauce and that went perfectly with the dish. I'd recommend asking for some. It seemed homemade if it wasn't and I'm sure would be great on some pasta. The calamari was also perfectly cooked and my husband enjoyed it. The salad was a good portion size and included traditional Italian dressing. Well worth it on that one. The fish sandwhich was just okay. It was fried well but was a basic cod patty and there wasn't enough sauce on the sandwhich to really make it flavorful. The fries do not come with the sandwhich and are an upcharge. They were crispy and semi breaded fries. Again, not bad but not spectacular either. The total for our meal was about $60 and I think that's fair. Pricing on the menu is decent and is certainly reflective of the quality of food you're getting. The ambience of the place supersedes the quality of the food that we got at least in terms of food we ordered. It seems to be a small family owned establishment and I think that is wonderful. Great for a quick bite but I wouldn't expect gourmet. They are excellent at preparing the food though which I'd prefer to homemade but not done right.

She wanted steamed broccoli, but Giorgio's has seasonal veggies and rotates which ones they have so no veggies for her this day. First the positives: I ordered the Gyro with fries and really enjoyed it. Not the best Gyro I have ever had, but good. The other three members of my family ordered different chicken dishes and all three were bad. Overall they were very bland. Using a little seasoning during cooking goes a long way. The chicken on the dishes seemed boiled. I guess this is an easy way to get tender chicken, but man does it remove the flavor! My wife's chicken had tendon and grizzle through out. My daughter's Marsala was gross. Seemed to be a Jared gravy. The wait staff really should not be wearing jeans, especially since the dining room seems nice (except for the paper table cloths.). One of the waitresses had ugly tattoos which no one wants to see at a nice place like this. It's a shame. This place has potential, but the food and wait staff drag it down HARD.

Good wine selection. Best brands of pasta, Venchi chocolates, hard to find drinks, etc. Quality of the products are very good, no question of this. As an Italian, who's been to Italy 7 times, it made me happy to see. However I was very disappointed with the meat portion of my $16 sandwich. The displays strategically place the meat extruding the sides, to give the impression it's filled out nicely. However once you receive your order, you're left wondering where did all the meat go? I ended up with a very thin, underwhelming portion of salami. One thin layer that barely stacks each other & barely covered the bottom bread. 95% total bread to 5% meat ratio. Add the greens & it feels like a salad sandwich with meat essence. (Not joking). It was hard to ignore the feeling of being skimped, especially considering the price. I have no problem with a $16 sandwich knowing everything is quality & imported. With the current state of tariffs, I understand how pricey it can be to import anything. But please provide your customers a reasonable portion of meat that equates to the purchase price. That's my constructive criticism. If it wasn't for the underwhelming portion issue, I would have given this place a 5.
