Decent lunch special deals. The pad thai was pretty good although it came with rice which is weird for me with noodle. Bit of a carb overload. I've never had rice served with pad thai. I'd probably just get the regular order of pad thai or another item if I returned. It was tasty. The service was nice and it's a cute clean option for thai in La Quinta. The rest of menu looks good.

The menu shows promise, but if you're considering the Ginger Fish, think twice. The dish features Orange Roughy--an Australian white fish known for its delicate texture--but Basil Thai envelopes it in a thick, orange-flavored batter more reminiscent of an Orange Chicken glaze. The coating triples the perceived portion size, yet overwhelms the fish entirely. What should be a light, flaky fillet instead presents as a bland, gelatinous protein relying solely on sugar and starch for character. On the brighter side, the Pad See Ew was excellent--balanced wok heat, solid seasoning, and well-executed noodles. However, the beef option was notably under-portioned, perhaps three ounces at best. For context, that's well under a basic quarter-pound burger, yet priced north of twenty dollars. In short, Basil Thai demonstrates commendable flavor profiles and generous chicken portions, but consistency remains an issue. Skip the Ginger Fish, temper expectations for beef dishes, and you'll likely enjoy the rest of the menu.

Food is great, service was excellent! I'll definitely be back! The pad thai and the fried rice were a standout.

Went back and the fish dish that I loved so much was so greasy I couldn't eat all of it. The portion that I did eat made my stomach upset.

Good food, we got the chicken satay, chicken yellow curry and Tom yum. Nice interior too. I wish there were more servers though.

Literally, did not realize until just now when I wanted to make a return visit to Palm Tree Palace. I've removed my review from the wrong restaurant. So here is the review you deserved! So sorry for that mistake! The algorithm got me that time. Fast service and tasty food prepared quickly as well. Busy night of mostly parties of 2, and one large party of about 6. Large portions for dinner. We had enough for two more meals. Fried rice was a lil crunchy, but overall the food was great. Wish they had dinner combinations.

Amazing food and service from Let's Eat Rice and Grill!…read more From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is taken care of and well run. Right away, they greeted us and welcomed us in. They were in the process of making their beef so as we waited, the women working the front provided us some ice waters and offered us some samples of the other protein options. Everything was delicious! As it was our first time to this location, she offered some suggestions to order with our rice and noodle bowls and even gave us an extra free sauce to try. We brought the food home to eat and had an amazing dinner with our family. We will be definitely coming back again. Thank you for the extra mile service Let's Eat!

We got a half rice/half noodle chicken bowl and a half rice/half noodle steak and pork bowl, loaded up with all the fixings. We added the peanut sauce, teriyaki sauce, and crispy onions on top, and everything was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the bowls were packed with flavor. Just a heads-up: two bowls and two Cokes came out to about $45, so it's a little on the pricey side for a quick lunch. That said, the portions are generous enough that you could easily split a bowl, which makes it a better value. Overall, great spot for a quick, fresh, and filling lunch!

I was so incredibly impressed with Da Chef Noodle, I felt actually giddy joy when discovering it existed and then even more excited once I learned the food is as good as you think it is going to be when you walk in. Staff was low key but kind and helpful. I popped in on accident one night when I was in the area and have ordered several times since. My first fortune cookie read: You are in the right place for something unforgettable. And boy, were they right! The roast pork was sweet, tangy balanced perfect with salty. The walnut shrimp might be the best I've ever had and I've lived all over the world. Typing this now, I can't wait to go back. I'm new out here to the valley and didn't expect to find such incredibly delicious Chinese food. So grateful for this find!

This is one of my favorites in the desert... sort of hole in the wall Chinese place, as it is…read moretucked away, sort of, off a vety traffic heavy little corner of Washington and country club. I've been several times, the first time about 3 weeks after it opened. Didn't write a review then, or did I? Anyway... It is about the size of a Starbucks lobby, complete with standard decorative restaurant applications. There's a couple of tables and a half dozen booths to sit in. Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick. But, I really don't need to ask for anything else past the meal being set, because that's ultimately what matters, in my opinion. As long as we communicate, the plates and cups aren't thrown at me, I'm a happy camper. I feel like this place is a little more popular for take out, but I think it is also worthy of a sit in meal. I'm having the duck next time... Thanks!
