We went around 5pm and it wasn't busy at all. Our food didn't take too long and was absolutely delicious. The sweet and sour pork was my favorite! Big portions, these 4 plates fed 4 of us. Service took great care of us, got me craving Chinese food writing this.

Great local restaurant in La Quinta. Nice lunch specials and other choices including soups and duck. Large menu. I had the tofu, chicken, beef and shrimp lunch combo with brown rice and a friend enjoyed the duck soup. The Peking duck and bao looked incredible too. The service was excellent and friendly. I posted menu pics.

YELP SHORT ANSWER: No, if food taste is important there are better options near by. If you're there for the experience then sure, you're hungry, they make food, you eat it, you pay and pay a lot. LOCATION: Fantastic location, lots of parking in a very upscale and clean retail center. FACILITY: Very nice buildout, something to be proud of. MENU: Excellent choices, mostly common American Chinese choices, easy to understand. Easy online ordering on Yelp. FOOD PREP: Well done for sure, even for take out. FOOD QUALITY: If looks equaled taste then it would be better than good. But on our takeout order the food was tasteless, very, no extremely dry crispy chicken, egg foo young looked terrible and also had zero flavor, egg rolls had good texture but again no taste aside from dipping sauce which you had to pay for. We did not eat any of the $20 Crispy Chicken so disappointing. WAITSTAFF: Nice enough, seemed happy to greet and serve customers. OVERALL VALUE: Terrible, $55 for take out, two items and egg rolls. If the food was the best around well then I'd say you get what you pay for but I am sorry to say this was not the case. This was our second visit, maybe our last for takeout as other options provide way better taste and a lower cost. TIP: Trusting something is amiss in the kitchen but I do enjoy eating out, experiencing new foods, new flavors, and I enjoy cooking. I will follow recent Elite reviews and revisit and I hope give them a better rating.

First time eating here as we are visiting Palm Springs, CA from Texas. Easy to find location with ample parking lot. Even though prices seem to be higher than what I usually see in Texas (maybe because this is a close-to-many-resorts area), the food is very tasty and in bigger-than-normal portion. Very happy we found this Palm Tree Palace because my mom and I are happily full after enjoying fresh and delicious salt & pepper fish and Hong Kong Pork BBQ rice. We ended up ordering 3 more dishes to-go for my son and nephews. Their service is quick and friendly. They have gen packed the leftover food for us. It's rare to see such service nowadays. Clean and bright room makes eating here enjoyable. Not packed/crowded with tables/chairs, so we ate in an enjoyable environment. We will surely be back next time we're in the area.

Solid delivery dinner. We didn't go in as we were loving our vacation home. Quality preparation and ingredients. Tasty flavors. Everything you wanted in a cozy stay at home Chinese meal.

Would give this place negative stars if I could... We ordered: Mongolian beef Sweet & sour chicken Fried rice Soup dumplings Pan fried dumplings Got the dumplings first. The soup ones were coagulated and had weird pink gummy goop in them. And were obviously made in a microwave. The server even said "you didn't like those" and proceeded to still charge us for them The pan fried ones were fine. No problems. Mongolian beef was tender and juicy. Would definitely recommend. The fried rice didn't come until we were done eating. Done. They blamed it on being "so busy" - but there are 3 tables seated the entire time we were here. We were still charged for it. Huh? Fine whatever. The kicker for me though, THEY HAVE SOFT SHELL TURTLES for eating. Which, if I'm not wrong, is illegal in the U.S. They have a sign on the tank that says "decoration" which is utter BS considering they have no habitat or anything. The entire time we were here, nobody asked us how our food was, didn't refill water, nothing. For a $100+ meal I am incredibly disappointed.

Came back today and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The two of us shared vegetable fried rice, Mongolian, beef, and shredded pork with garlic sauce. All were flavorful and plentiful. The staff again are exceptional and extremely friendly and personable people. We really like to come here.

    Love this place

The egg flour soup was delicious just the perfect amount of everything. Orange chicken was tasty loved the sauce. Great service and grrrreat food .

They even charged me for food they didn't even deliver. When I expressed I never got the food yet she charged me she tried to get me to pay for someone else's food. I told her that was not my bill. I was so incredibly impressed with Da Chef Noodle, I felt actually giddy joy when discovering it existed and then even more excited once I learned the food is as good as you think it is going to be when you walk in. Staff was low key but kind and helpful. I popped in on accident one night when I was in the area and have ordered several times since. My first fortune cookie read: You are in the right place for something unforgettable. And boy, were they right! The roast pork was sweet, tangy balanced perfect with salty. The walnut shrimp might be the best I've ever had and I've lived all over the world. Typing this now, I can't wait to go back. I've been several times, the first time about 3 weeks after it opened. Didn't write a review then, or did I? Anyway... It is about the size of a Starbucks lobby, complete with standard decorative restaurant applications. There's a couple of tables and a half dozen booths to sit in. Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick. But, I really don't need to ask for anything else past the meal being set, because that's ultimately what matters, in my opinion. As long as we communicate, the plates and cups aren't thrown at me, I'm a happy camper. I feel like this place is a little more popular for take out, but I think it is also worthy of a sit in meal. I'm having the duck next time... Thanks!

The sweet and sour pork is prepared perfectly and the sauce is just how it should be. Another hit is the string bean chicken. The beans are perfectly cooked -- not mushy but crispy and the sauce if flavorful. The chicken is cooked to perfection. We have more to explore here and will keep coming back. Only downside foodwise was a ho-hum wonton soup. We ordered a full bowl and sadly only got two mediocre wontons. Only two! And the broth is overloaded with cabbage.
