Delicious sushi!! On the pricey side, but so worth every last cent! Update: I went back to this location today and ordered the Dancing Chicken. It was super good! Only thing that turned me off was when we walked into the restaurant my sister and I both said, "peeyew!!" At the saw time. Later on, when I went to the bathroom, I saw what that smell was. The bathroom door had been propped open after someone blew the place up. I didn't see air freshener in sight. All I ask is to please have some form of air freshener in the bathroom because that restaurant is so small that the smell engulfs the whole place. read more

Went to go eat a late lunch with my wife here based on the positive reviews. It is located in the same shopping center as the Kroger upon entering, I noticed how quiet and relaxing the place is. Service was very good as the waiter took care of us with our drinks and food. I ordered Pad Thai and a roll of sushi. Sushi was good. I remember what I ordered but I believe it was spicy salmon. The Pad Thai was pretty good. The beef has a little after taste. I don't know what it is, it's not bad or good, just a taste I can't put my finger on. Maybe someone who's better at this can help me out. Lol. Overall, it was above average, just not 5 star in my opinion. read more

The dumplings were delicious. DO NOT get the Pad Thai if you're a 'Pad Thai' person. The flavors were not there AT ALL and it had an orange color to it indicating they put some other, non-traditional spice in it. The picture on the website is NOT what mine looked like. It lacked that sweet/spicy flavor a good Pad Thai has. I know Pad Thai isn't Japanese but because of the name and the fact it's on their menu, I thought that it would be good. Little pricey. Started with coconut shrimp, they were fried butterflied. Lots of coconut, which made them chewy. The sauce with them was a coconut type sauce...meh. 4 shrimp for $9. I had a tuna naruto roll...which is tuna and cucumber. It's what I like, and it was fine. Tuna was good. A little pricey...could've probably gotten tuna sashimi and some cucumber and spent less. He had the amazing tuna roll and it got raves. Really good. He also got a yellowfin & jalapeño roll, which he says was a filler roll for him. Not as good as the amazing tuna roll. Stepmom had the shrimp pad Thai, non spicy, and she liked it. The shrimp were over cooked but still okay. Dad had the volcano chicken skillet. Main problem was the skillet was too hot and burned everything despite trying to stir it up. Flavor was good, but everything just ended up over cooked and burned. We've had problems finding good sushi...so this place hits that mark and so we might go back. read more

We were greeted as soon as we came in and had our drinks very quickly. Our waitress was caring and answered all our questions very politely. The salad and soups were brought out and were delicious. Also had a house Cabernet, shrimp & avocado roll & crispy duck entree. Cabernet & roll we're good, not exceptional but as expected. Crispy duck was crispy ! Served with assorted crisp veggies & steamed rice. Tasty plum sauce made the duck an outstanding dish. I have to admit I was surprised at the quality & flavor of the food. Attractive presentation & perfect temperature on all dishes. Cold crisp salad came with the entree. Choice of soup or salad. Entree was a tad pricey but I don't mind paying for an excellent dish. The other app & roll seemed appropriately priced. Rather small restaurant in a strip mall but had trendy Dallas uptime vibe. Nice decor & tableware. Excellent service & quick service on all dishes. Timing was perfect between dishes. I rarely send a message thru the wait staff to the chef but did so today. Best meal I've had in Rockwall & I'm glad to see this level of dining come to this area. The only enjoyable part of our visit was the ambiance. We asked for the ramen and the pineapple fried rice to be extra spicy, and both were very very bland. We asked for something to add to make it spicy and they gave us about 1/4 teaspoon of some pepper powder to split between both dishes. Even the edamame was bland - no seasonings, not even salt.
