I contacted Jorge and hired him last month to replace a well pressure tank that had failed. I asked…read morehim if there were any parts that were needed to install it properly and he said that he would bring them. He showed up and did install the tank (had to go to a local hardware store since he didn't have 1" PVC pipe, which was suspicious since it's standard for pressure tanks that hold 52 gallons) but did not install the necessary Tee junction that allows the tank to maintain a safe pressure from the holding tank and regulate the PSI of the water entering the house. So I have had to buy those parts (they are expensive!) and hire a different plumber to install it properly since it was done unsafely and would also cancel the warranty for my new tank. Recently the work he did 2 wk ago failed and he never provided me with a work order or receipt so that I could get my money refunded via the Yelp Guarantee. He actually put me and our property in danger so I will report him to the contractor's license board, my husband is a contractor and I am aware of how to proceed. While Jorge's price was reasonable, his work was faulty in fact I don't think he even knows how to do this work, there are youtube videos that show how to do it correctly and the local guys at the hardware store were better informed than Jorge who is the owner of the business. His work FLOODED OUR GARAGE and WAS NOT UP TO CODE, he is doing work illegally by California contractor standards. When I told him I wanted a refund and have filed a complaint against him with the state (our only protection against scam contractors), he threated me with "an attorney" which actually HELPS my case against him with the CSLB and how we decide to proceed legally. I am a Veteran which is why I selected this business (he trades on being military owned) but I now greatly regret hiring him, I not only lost my money, he put us in danger and I cannot retrieve my money via Yelp since he didn't give me any paperwork or receipt to proove he'd done the work. Another reviewer mentioned that he didn't not provide a receipt for that job either. He claims he will email it to you but he ghosts you when you try to contact him, he's unavailable and doesn't answer or return calls. I will NEVER hire another contractor via Yelp again, they seem to be scam artists. IF you decide to hire this guy, INSIST on getting a bid & receipt for all work or you have no YELP GUARANTEE, he knows hos to get out of your protection with a friendly handshake. KEEP copies of all communication and be prepared to report him to the Ca CSLB when his work fails, then take legal action to retrieve your money. Ask yourself if it's worth this hassle.

Was able to share my issues over the phone and before even seeing my appliances / the work to be done they came prepared with their own replacement parts and tools. The gentlemen that worked on my repairs were Clinton and Cayden. Two young professionals. I was impressed that they were right on time for the appointment. Very friendly, kind and professional. They handled everything with care and explained to me exactly what needed to be done. They were mindful and wore booties over their shoes in the house without me even making a comment. They were able to fix a leak in one of my showers and replace two corroded nozzles in my laundry area. Again I was impressed that 1. They assessed what needed to be fixed quickly, 2. Took care in explaining what needed to be done, 3. Had replacement pieces already on hand, and 4. Accomplished all of my repairs in about an hour. It's funny because another worker guy was actually at my house when they came and he even he was impressed with how timely this duo was. What really sealed the deal in me giving them five stars is they were a very understanding of our financial limitations to do all of the work that they suggested and without being pushy or sticking to their initial quote, they were able to be flexible and make some adjustments on how they handled the repairs to get the cost down. Yes that means they didn't do the repairs 100% as the felt I needed/recommended but they also worked with me to cut some repairs that were not an immediate need to keep the price point reasonable so that I could at least get some of the work done this day. A lot of places wouldn't give you any flexibility or would hound you to maintain their price point but these guys are very reasonable and I would 100% use them again in the future. If you are looking for a plumber in the 805 area this is a great family owned business and I couldn't recommend them enough.

We wanted to use a local company that was close. Camarillo plumbing sounded like a good option, not far away and many years in business. The man worked less than one hour, had necessary equipment in his truck (sealant and caulking) so there were no special tools and nothing was functionally wrong with the toilet. He charged $2,000. This happened in September of 2024 but I finally looked up the charge and wanted to make sure I got the correct business before I posted this. We are seniors with a limited income which, imo, makes this an unconscionable move on his part. I can just scream when I remember and that's why it has take me such a long time to complete this review. I can only imagine that he will reap the rewards of his lack of integrity. We have since found a real plumber who has a moral compass in addition to being skilled. So, do not use this business.
