I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Air Works. We originally called because we were having an odor/fumes from our garage being pulled into our home through the downstairs HVAC system. That was the primary reason for the service call and the problem we specifically wanted corrected. Nick came to our home and spent a couple of hours going through the system with us. He quoted approximately $4,500, which was significantly higher than other estimates we had received. We agreed to move forward because he represented that they were going to do substantially more work, including addressing the air leakage from the garage, expanding/sealing the return area so it would not continue pulling garage air into the house, and making changes upstairs to improve airflow so so much air was not being directed into the primary bedroom. Based on those conversations, we were told the downstairs system would be properly sealed and the garage-air problem would be corrected. Unfortunately, when the technicians were finishing their work, it became apparent that the most important part of the job -- stopping air from being pulled in from the garage -- was not included on their work order. I raised the issue while the technicians were still here. They contacted Nick, and we were then told that sealing that area would be done when we eventually replaced the entire HVAC system. Replacing the entire system had never been part of our agreement or the reason we approved this $4,500 job. Had we been told beforehand that the work being proposed would not address the fumes/garage-air issue, we would not have authorized the work. The technicians who came to our home were professional, polite, and clearly trying to do the job they had been given. I actually feel badly for them because they seemed to have walked into a situation where they had not been given all of the information that had been discussed during the sales appointment. The frustrating part is that we spent a significant amount of time explaining exactly what the problem was and what we needed fixed. Yet after spending approximately $4,500, the original problem remains. I still cannot comfortably run my downstairs AC because the same smell is coming into the house. UPDATE: After I posted this review, Nick called us. Unfortunately, instead of trying to resolve the problem, the conversation became argumentative and his description of what had been discussed was very different from what we were told when we agreed to the work. This was especially concerning because the technicians had already contacted him while they were at our home regarding the same issue. Again, the reason we called Air Works was to stop garage air/fumes from entering our downstairs HVAC system. That problem was not fixed. We had previously used Air Force HVAC company for years and decided to try Air Works based on a recommendation. I regret that decision. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Air Works get every single promised repair and outcome specifically written into the work order before authorizing the job, particularly if the recommendation is coming from the salesperson rather than the technicians who will actually be performing the work. read more

I've had work done to my HVAC system twice by Airworks, the first time a couple years ago to replace my house's air ducting. They did such a good job the first time that I called them again a couple years later to replace the rest of my HVAC system, including getting a new furnace, AC, and wifi thermostat. Being price conscious, I shopped around before choosing Airworks. Not only did they give the best price (which was HALF the price that a big box retailer gave), but they also specced out high quality components and provided me with many options that I did not know existed. These are thorough, knowledgable pros at work. In addition to the typical heater and AC system I had installed, they also installed a whole-house fan, which is arguably more useful than AC in a place like Camarillo. I turn on the whole-house fan for a couple hours in the evening, and all of the built-up heat from the day is gone. Airworks completed the installations very quickly and kept to the schedule they promised. They also took care to minimize any messes and clean up after themselves, which is a small detail that can't be appreciated enough. After the installation was complete, I went into the attic myself and inspected their work. They did the job right, they did it professionally, and they did it without compromises or shortcuts. You pair this with their competitive pricing, and it's the best deal around. I HIGHLY recommend Airworks, and I've been recommending them to all my family and friends. read more

I've had a membership with AirWorks for several years now. It's very valuable for whenever something goes wrong. My HVAC failed about a week ago. I called airworks and they were able to get Will Walker out to me within a couple of days. He was able to figure out the problem, test to make sure that actually was the problem instead of just going with the easy answer and arrange for a replacement part in less than two hours. But what knocks it up from a 4 star rating to a 5 star for me was that there was some difficulty in the scheduling of an immediate install of the replacement part. Only a few days but Will wanted to make sure that I wasn't left to just curling up in lots of layers while the air conditioning didn't work. So he managed to squeeze in time between his other already booked calls the following day to rush in and change out the part, test it, and get my unit back in working order without being late to his next appointment. That's superior service. And well appreciated. AND this isn't the first time AirWorks has proven excellent at the job. As a general statement, I would recommend the membership to anyone in the area who has or wants an HVAC system. The install service I can also attest to, since they're who I hired to add on the cooling part of the air conditioning to the heating which the prior owner had installed in the house. So, good company all around. read more

AMAZING COMPANY!!!! I have a rental home and a property management company so that I do not have to deal with problems or these types of phone calls. I received a phone call yesterday from the Property Management company that the renters called saying the air conditioner is not working and will not turn on. The Property Manager went over and did what he could to get it going but no luck. He then scheduled a service call with the guy that he always uses and was told we need a new unit and I was quoted $8,000-$9,000....AND I was told the new compressor will take one week to arrive. It's hot and the renters have 4 small children, one week is a long time and the price seems high. My daughter recently used AirWorks and highly recommended them. Long story short...I talked to Steve at AirWorks, he assured me over the phone that if I do need a new unit he can get one within two days. Steve came out and he had the unit repaired in just a few minutes and the house was already cooling down. The price was $288. He could have easily told me that I need a new unit, especially since it is very old, the original from 1978. I am beyond thrilled. Everyone I spoke with at AirWorks (Steve, Hector and the nice lady that answered the phone at the office) were all wonderful. They are honest, fair, hard working, professional and understanding. Thank you so much! read more

To start with, when my wife and I could not get our heater to come on a very cold weekend. I called several companies and they would either not answer to phone or those that did answer said they would not be able to help us until Monday. Until I called AirWorks and they had a tech out in about an hour on a Sunday! Side note, they are located a good 50 miles from us. We have been a satisfied customer ever sence. When we decided to upgrade our HVAC system they recommended a very expensive top of the line heat pump 2 zone Bosch system and it is awsome!! With this system, we use less electricity to run the air conditioner then we use for our electric oven. Even though we spent a lot of money up front, it has already paid for it self. We continue to use AirWorks for our regular service and any issues. We just had a problem with a thermostat, Airworks responded quickly and the technician, Michael Mendoza, made a quick and skilled diagnosis and repair with the total cost covered under our service plan. We are completly satisfied with everything Airworks Solutions has done for us and highly recommend them! read more

AirWorks Solutions performed as top notch professionals from start to finish. Scheduling and communication was prompt, clear, and respectful. The assessment was straightforward, truthful, informative, and clearly explained. There wasn't any pressure or sales pitch. The quote was simple with all the relevant information. My questions were answered immediately and changes were incorporated swiftly. The days of installation - the crew arrived on time, were extremely respectful and polite. Anthony introduced himself, and even asked where to best park the vans and how to best access the yard and house. Two full days of work were without issue. The crew was pleasant, hardworking, clean, quiet, approachable, and paid attention to detail. The finished product (new HVAC system) was operational, tested, with follow up calls to ensure we were satisfied. Not a leaf out of place in the yard or a single piece of dust! Just a new, quiet, fantastic system humming along happily. AirWorks was the best experience I've had as a homeowner! read more

AirWorks is great. Very professional, always on time and honest. We've been using Kevin for years and I've recommended him to several people... and those people are always pleased with his work and work ethic. It is rare to find someone in this industry who is an honest, straight-shooter... but that's exactly what Kevin (and his company) is. One example, our furnace stopped working and is in our attic (very hard to get to). Anyone could have told me we needed a new furnace. Kevin showed me the part that went out, went to the hardware store and got the part (because it wasn't on his truck) and came back and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I'm sure a lot of other companies would have taken advantage and told me I needed a new furnace (as this one is 20 years old and I wouldn't have known the difference)... but Kevin turned a multi-thousand dollar repair into a $50 repair. That's just how he rolls! read more

When we experienced inconsistent temperature flows between rooms we called on AirWorks for an evaluation. Service and support from everyone we had come in contact with - from scheduling, evaluation, quote, execution of work (and post job support) were timely, well communicated, thorough and consistent. Results of the initial evaluation recommended adding dampers and registers for optimum airflow to each of the rooms. On the day of construction technicians Roland and Eddie arrived on the time specified, focused on the work at hand, respected the property in which they worked (wearing booties, asking for assistance when moving heavy furniture etc) and cleaned up afterwards. The issue is now resolved. Thanks also go to Amaris in the office for her responsiveness with questions and requests. I would definitely recommend AirWorks to anyone needing air conditioning or heating repairs. read more

Best service, excellent customer service, outstanding performance! Steve is one of a kind! Highly professional and expert in his field. I will absolutely recommend to my friends and colleagues to use AirWorks Solution. Ethical, fair and beyond accommodating. I called and explained my air conditioning was not working in the most terrible timing when temperatures were over 100F degrees and to add to it, my elderly parents were at home. Denise quickly addressed our needs in a time all the technicians were overbooked with many jobs assigned. I was given a reasonable appointment. Steve came earlier that scheduled in the day and quickly and skillfully got our air conditioning unit to work. Wow! Friendly and trustworthy! Can't ask for more. Thank you Denise! Thank you Steve! You are the best! We will not call anyone else but our experts at AirWorks Solutions. read more

Just had a fantastic experience with AirWorks Solutions, thanks to Michael Mendoza. Our AC unit was on the fritz, and Michael was a total lifesaver. Michael's knowledge and expertise were evident from the moment he arrived. He took the time to walk us through all our options, answering no less than 25 questions with patience and enthusiasm. His consultative approach ensured we fully understood every aspect of the work that was needed, which is something we greatly appreciated. What really impressed me was how he worked with us to find a price that fit our budget. It felt like he genuinely cared about getting us a fair deal and making sure we were comfortable with everything. If you need AC repairs, definitely give AirWorks Solutions a shout. And if you can, work with Michael. He's top-notch and makes the whole process smooth and stress-free! read more

From my initial contact with AirWorks Solutions, Inc., to set up an appointment, it was immediately clear that this is a top-notch, customer service and satisfaction driven company. The technician was a knowledgeable, experienced professional who resolved my AC issues quickly and in the most cost-efficient way. He arrived well within the two hour appointment window. He kept me informed of his findings every step of the way, explained everything to me very concisely, and asked for my OK before replacing anything. He even identified a potentially dangerous issue with my breaker box, explained it to me, and quickly fixed it. You can trust this company implicitly, they're honest and really know what they're doing. My AC works perfectly now, and I am so fortunate to have found them! They are in my phone contact list of favorites now for sure! read more

Amazing company! We were able to get an appointment on the day we called, our a.c. was not working, it was blowing out warm air and we couldn't go too long with out in this heat especially with three kids. Steve came out found out that everything had frozen up and we needed a new thermostat as well. He wasn't able to due it that same day as he had to get it approved by our landlord first. Our land lord approved it the following day and Steve came out later that afternoon and everything was done in less than an hour! I was still at work and had a family member there but Steve contacted me to follow up and waited a few minutes for me to get there to show me how to use the new thermostat and to make sure everything was running well! He was very nice and courteous! I definitely recommend them!! Steve thank you so much!! read more

Yesterday we had a replacement A/C unit installed at our home in Simi Valley. The new unit had to be lifted up two stories onto our roof which took some time and required a crew of technicians all day to accomplish the task. Not even hour after they left the A/C unit stopped working and I contacted Airworks Tech Bill Grissom and he returned back to troubleshoot until 7:45 pm until the A/C unit was back up and running again. It all turned out to be a clogged drain line and not the new unit. The whole time Bill was kind and kept Us up with the process until it was all done. A true professional in everything He did and a rarity these days of customer service satisfaction. 100% satisfaction with all the care and Professionalism that We got from Bill Grissom of Airworks. read more

We are very pleased with the services provided by AirWorks! First Jared (technician) came out to asses our unit which was deemed unsafe. The same day, Micheal M. (solution designer) was able to come out and provide us with estimates. The following week Mike R. and another employee (installers) came out and installed our new heater. They quoted us at a 4 hour job and finished right on time! They even took the time to show us how to use our Nest thermostat since we were unfamiliar with it. I really appreciated that you receive texts/emails from the company letting you know when the employee is on their way to your location. All employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for HVAC services! read more

One Saturday afternoon, during the high humidity and heatwave, my air conditioning unit went out. I called the company who installed the unit and the soonest they could arrive was 4 days later. Not acceptable in the heat. So I called AirWorks based on the Yelp reviews. The experience was wonderful. Kevin arrived on time at the beginning of the 2-hour window. Within 10 minutes he knew the problem was with my furnace fan motor and immediately went to work to order a replacement unit. He explained the issue clearly and worked within my schedule to have the unit shipped the following day. Kevin is trust-worthy and friendly. He got the job done with a high degree of quality. Recommend to anyone, call AirWorks Solutions. read more

I was pleased with the service I received from Tommy Rick. He came to do the routine maintenance checks on my two units. AirWorks sent a text message reminder the day before my appointment. On the day of my appointment, I received an email as well as a text message reminder. The text message had a tracking feature. This allowed me to see the time of arrival as well as Tommy's location. Tommy was polite and professional. He explained what he would be doing, asked if I had questions, and worked quietly while I was working. Each time he came inside, he covered his shoes. It was easy to make my appointment. I was able to get the date and time slot that was my first choice. Deborah read more
