Now this is for the people that are complaining who don't understand how it is to run a business. For the people complaining to have to pay for something upfront don't understand what it's like to run a business. Many prescriptions to get filled here and made here are very unique to very certain individuals so the time the effort resources that are used and then people don't come up and pick up the prescription. Think about that now, you wasted your money to buy ingredients to have a prescription made, and then no one comes and picks it up so now you're out of your resources of money ingredients ordered, and time to make it and now you have a prescription that's not gonna be picked up because it wasn't paid for which means you're out of your own money and you are out of your own time now you have also a prescription that will not be picked up and that is being wasted. So the people that don't think outside their own box is very unfortunate. I cannot stand reviews where people only think about me me me me me, and they don't think about what product that they are getting from a certain facility. Mark Drugs keep up the good work and three years you have not disappointed for the people that don't understand the business aspect. That's very unfortunate and they need to open up their eyes because if they ran a business, it will probably would not go very far.

I had a difficult time…read moregetting my doctor's office to call in the right prescription as I had just moved and my doctor was on vacation. Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!

I went online and found The Compounder's website where they offered the product I wanted along with more information on its use. I contacted them via email and not only did they respond very quickly but they provided me with different volume price options (which were excellent because I wanted to buy multiple units). The issue with the product I ordered was that it needed to be refrigerated and since we're in the mid-end of August it definitely needed special overnight shipping. When I called to officially place my order (paid by phone), they quickly recognized me from my emails, pulled up my information, answered my product questions, and had already gotten multiple shipping quote-options for me to choose from. The shipping was expensive, which I had expected, but I ended up going with a quote for $29 next-day delivery. At that time they did tell me that the quoted price might change. When I received the package I was surprised with how well packaged it was; I must admit I was very worried that the shipping process might spoil the product. However, the product was incredibly well packaged with multiple ice packs in a thick foam inner box to conceal from the heat. The shipping ended up being $55 instead of the $29 but they were nice enough not to charge me the price difference this first time. I'm happy with the product and the personal service of The Compounder. I liked the fact that they added multiple sheets of information on the product I purchased along with my order invoice, and a note stating the shipping price difference for future reference. You get that mom/pops community type feel with this place and I for one am a fan for places like this.

You can pick up in Aurora or pay to have your RX delivered to your house via UPS or FedEx. unfortunately, I'm super sensitive to so many different things especially meds I had a reaction to the pure compounded med because I'm used to taking synthetic drugs with fillers.. ;-( finally after a pure clean compounded med & multiple generic manufacturers & horrid reactions the Brand Name drug helps me. I had just filled another prescription two weeks early at Walgreens pharmacy with no issues. She had me wait a very long time while she called my insurance company. Sure enough, they made a clerical mistake and had his member ID incorrect. Absolutely no apology or explanation. Also every time I fill a prescription at Hampshire Pharmacy it is more than double when I fill it at Walgreens with the same insurance of course. Very rude technician and pharmacist.

I called the shop right away and talk to the what I assume is the pharmacist. He was also the guy who helped me check out so he remembered that I was there earlier. I was afraid he was going to tell me that there was nothing he could do, as the girl who pointed out the crutches to me did mention that they were non returnable... but he was so REASONABLE and even though he didn't have the height that I needed, he ordered the right height and had them ready first thing in the morning the following day!! He let me do an even exchange... and he made what I thought was going to be dreadful non returnable experience.. a simple pleasant exchange. I felt the need to write this long review about my experience with this pharmacist because people like him are hard to find. In a world we're people tend to be... lazy and would rather brush you off with "there's nothing I can do" and "we're out of stock, sorry".... finding someone like him in today's world is always an amazing experience and a breath of fresh air. They seem to do a really good job of providing the lowest out of pocket expense for their medications and the staff is fabulous. While I live nearby the pharmacy, it's awesome that they will deliver your medications for free (next day!), because I'm a busy gal! Healy will also take the time to contact your insurance company for you and they offer 24-hour phone support. They specialize in fertility, oncology, hepatitis, gastroenterology, HIV, rheumatoid arthritis, and dermatology, but they do stock many non-specialty medications. The pharmacists are always helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. I highly suggest Healy for your special medication needs!
