I initially pulled up to the drive through and sat for approximately 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging I was there. I also pushed the call button 3-4 times to no avail. At one point Shumita walked over to the register at the drive-through, and walked away without acknowledging me. I eventually went inside to get my Rx and complain about the lack of courteousness/service. Instead of attempting any level of service recovery, Shumita continued to repeat that they were understaffed and mentioned that I could complain to CVS about it. She also stated that they'd been working all day without a break as if this made the poor service acceptable. Bottomline is that she missed the point. My frustration was about the lack of courteousness. Simply acknowledging that I was waiting and letting me know they would be with me as soon as possible would have sufficed. Shumita didn't seem to understand this, nor did she express any sentiment of accountability, offered no apology, and ended my transaction with "here ya go". This is a ripe opportunity for employee coaching.

Gates were closed, yet some lady was behind the counter. I gave the benefit of the doubt when i politely asked if and what time they would reopen, or if they were closed. the red signs on the wall in front of where i was standing (from the angle I was at) shows open from 8am-8pm most days. It was 12:40. I did NOT see the monitor to the left that shows they are closed from 12:30-1pm. honest mistake on my part, but to completely ignore someone genuinely asking a question... looking in my direction at me, and NOT respond at all, is beyond rude. some folks would slap this little girl for that, but Im not on that type of time. My point is, What if i someone was illiterate, and could not read? What if someone genuinely does not see a monitor that's positioned off from the direction of the pharmacy gate, such as myself? So i went to the front and politely asked the clerk if the pharmacist was deaf (to give zara some grace) The clerk at the front responds, "no", as i follow up with why I asked that to begin with. To my surprise, as I walk back towards the pharmacy to ask again, she's mouthing off about me asking if she was deaf to some counter part she's on the phone with... how are you so confident to be yapping like that behind a closed gate, like you wont open back up in 15 minutes? You dont know what kind of mood people may be in, or what they are willing to do because of your lack of acknowledgement and respect. I stepped out of my character...being self effacing, I did call her out her name for not being able to easily respond or even point in the direction of the sign (which again, i did not see until going back to the gate after asking the register lady if this zara chick is deaf. I can admit where Im wrong. I can own where I messed up, but this is the person thats in charge of dispensing medication to people?! ‍ who raised you?! yapping behind a closed gate like you're in high school. Parents definitely should've Beat you more as a child because your Bedside manner is beyond horrible. you should not be working with people and definitely should not be in charge of dispensing medications at that station on your own. Deprived is an understatement. this woman looks soulless!! And karma is a mf! it doesnt miss. It will spin the block for you weirdo. Other than that, shout out this CVS (except for this weirdo). They do a great job. It's just this heffer in back that is harming CVS's brand image.

There are 2 stores in Warrenville. One was 1/2 block away, and still i drove to above location 2.5 miles away because staff's level of knowledge, friendliness, and caring (Yes, CARING) is so rare these days. All staff are great, but Brian the pharmacist and Becky the tech exemplify the qualities previously mentioned. BTW, I now drive 9 miles to visit that store!! At least one of the three passport pics, which for some…read morereason are $16 for 2 of the same one and not eligible for promotions, got rejected (still waiting to hear about the kids' passport photos but they were as bad as my wife's rejected one). So I had to drag the kids and wife in again and spend money and time priority mailing the wife's photo in. I may end up having to mail the kids' in as well as expediting their request, we'll see. I asked if I could get new pictures and a refund and the guy, who said he didn't mess up the pictures the first time (he did unless he has a twin) said we could get new pictures only after we returned all other pictures and refused to provide a refund so we could go somewhere more competent. The new pictures seem better so we'll see. I understand we could have looked at the poor pictures better before sending them with our passport application however what I don't understand is the attitude from multiple employees during the process and the poor customer service experience in general. If you do get passport pictures here make sure you check them thoroughly. The rest of this Walgreens seems fine. If you buy something and it's not on sale it will probably be overpriced but that's normal for Walgreens.

I said why, I'm here now. If I parked and went inside it would be 10pm and conveniently the pharmacy would be closed. That was his whole plan. He reluctantly gave me my 1 prescription. Closing at 10pm means 10pm, not 9:50pm. Receipt time said 9:55pm. 3 months ago I went inside at 9:50pm and they literally slammed the window shield down in my face after I waited 10 minutes behind one lady getting her prescriptions. They were more concerned with helping the 3 cars in the drive thru. All I had was 1 prescription to pick up. It would only take 1 minute. They ignored me that I had been waiting 10 minutes while they were still open. All the large black lady at the counter wanted to do was punch out and leave.
