6/26/26 at 9:50pm. I pulled up to the drive thru in plenty of time before they closed at 10pm. They had the dark sun shield pulled down and drive thru lights turned off to look like they were closed. Drive thru Indian man told me they were closed and I had to go inside. I said why, I'm here now. If I parked and went inside it would be 10pm and conveniently the pharmacy would be closed. That was his whole plan. He reluctantly gave me my 1 prescription. Closing at 10pm means 10pm, not 9:50pm. Receipt time said 9:55pm. 3 months ago I went inside at 9:50pm and they literally slammed the window shield down in my face after I waited 10 minutes behind one lady getting her prescriptions. They were more concerned with helping the 3 cars in the drive thru. All I had was 1 prescription to pick up. It would only take 1 minute. They ignored me that I had been waiting 10 minutes while they were still open. All the large black lady at the counter wanted to do was punch out and leave. Worst Walgreens pharmacy!!! Never have the prescriptions. They don't take the people inside at all. They work on the line outside and not the people inside. They took care of 12 customers outside and one inside. So the 12 lazy people outside are more important than 3 people inside. Poor poor customer service. I spend a lot of time in Walgreens to find items to donate to the homeless shelter and this location is wonderful. Other locations I have experienced being told I cannot buy 100 pencils on clearance because they have to save some for the other customers and my response was "They should have gotten here sooner" Another location a cashier left the front register to come to the back of the store to see if I was STEALING. read more

Wow. Once again, crappy service here. Stopped in here to pick up some allergy medicine this morning. There was even a clerk working in that aisle and she showed me where, but it's locked behind a bulky plastic barrier so you can't read the labels. After some discerning from me (& impatience from her) I determined which would be ok; then she tried to give me the bulk amount for $45 which I had not indicated. When I said I didn't want that, she got pissy again. I'm sorry if you're mad about working on a Sunday morning or annoyed that you had to open the cabinet for me, but really, get over it. When I commented to the manager at the desk that I had gotten attitude from staff, he acted so clueless that I gave up. Really, don't bother with this location if you can help it. read more

When you're standing in the shower rinsing your razor and you turn, inexplicably slicing a 7 inch slash across your butt cheek, you scream !&!%#*!!! and think about how you could probably use some bandaids. Ah, but with a 5 yr old in the house, the bandaids (of course) are almost empty. And the only few you own have Frozen characters on them. With blood running down your cheek, you clean yourself up, slide haphazardly into your car (owie!!!) and head to Walgreens. On a quest to find bandages and Neosporin for your unmentionables. A 24/7 pharmacy and a convenience store wrapped into one. And hey, you can even get a passport picture taken here. Incredibly S-L-O-W drive thru pharmacy service. Frequently out of stock of needed meds even though have been getting the same meds for multiple years. Too often they get the insurance information wrong. It is clear that they do a very poor job of reviewing prescriptions from customers to anticipate what needs to be always in stock. The drive-thru personnel are always friendly but there is something really lacking with the management. Time to switch to a different store or CVS. read more

So, I didn't forget Mother's Day, I just forgot the card. Enter Walgreens. Though this Walgreens is a little less organized than others, it had some items that my local W-Greens was out of and saved me on my Mother's Day Eve greeting card predicament. The staff was quick and knowledgeable. Especially Bryanna. Bryanna saw me eye-ing some chocolate fudge brownies and told me she'd tried them, and they were surprisingly delicious. I told her that I was trying to stay away from delicious things like that and in the sweetest sounding voice I'd ever heard, she said "you only live once, one won't do any harm". God Bless, Bryanna. A few minutes later I was ready to check out so I moved up to the check out counter. I waited just a few short minutes and Bryanna came back and helped me. She apologized for making me wait all of 2 minutes and I let her know it wasn't a big deal at all. Bryanna was quick and sweet and wished me a safe and nice night. 5 stars for Bryanna. Now, I want to devote this last paragraph to something I've never done on yelp before, cussing some b*tches out. While waiting in line for no time at all, 2 girls came behind me with their monster energy drinks and from the first second they stood there, they loudly whined about where the "f*cking cashier" was, and they don't care, they'll walk out with their drink without paying, and then as another employee told Bryanna she needed to come back to the register for the now developing line, the girls laughed and loudly said "walk faster". I hope those f*ckers read this and know that there's a special place in hell for people who think they're above others. Bryanna's probably working the Saturday night graveyard shift at Walgreens and needed to step away from the front for a moment, maybe she just needed to go to the bathroom or to get a sip of water. I'm so surprised by all of the negative reviews for the pharmacy because this is my favorite Walgreens specifically because of how efficient the pharmacists are. Maybe it just depends on the time of day? We moved a year ago and are now closer to the Walgreens on 87th and it has been consistently the worst experience, from insanely rude customer service (in the pharmacy!!) to crazy long wait times. I will never take the Raymond location for granted again. Sometimes if I am not in the mood to wait an entire day for my prescription to be ready, I'll still have it sent to Raymond even though it's totally out of the way because they are so much faster and wayyy friendlier. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies in the area. It is always a 20+ minute waIt. I had a perscption that was called I in by my doctor and I went there after an hour or so. I went to to counter and the lady said it was going to be about a 15 minute wait. After 45 minutes I asked for an update and she literally had no idea what I was talking about. They couldn't find my prescription and it ended up being thrown in a pile. It was done the whole time. If it wasn't so close I would switch to CVS. I just have to plan on being gone for over an hour to pick up a prescription. read more

The Pharmacist, Esther, LIED TO ME. I tried to fill a Rx for my baby but the app said my normal Walgreens was out of stock, but this location had it. So I transferred my Rx to this store. I called to confirm the time that it would be ready and Esther told me that they did not have it in stock. I explained that I really needed this medication for my sick baby and asked if she could please help me find a Walgreens in the area that did have it. So after looking into it, she called me back and told me that my regular Walgreens did in fact have it in stock. She told me she had transferred it over and that they could help me. So I called them to confirm the pickup time. But they told me that they didn't have it in stock! I explained what Esther had told me and asked for clarification. The pharmacist there told me that she very clearly told Esther that she did NOT have this prescription in stock, but Esther told her she had to transfer it back to them anyways because they were our regular pharmacy. Then she called me back and LIED TO MY FACE. WHY ESTHER?! Why not just tell me that they didn't have it? Bc you didn't want to do the leg work of helping a mother find a medication for her sick baby? I am beside myself. Every Walgreens pharmacy is understaffed and you wait FOREVER to get any help, but I've never had someone just outright LIE to me. I'm disgusted. I'll never come to this pharmacy again and I'm seriously considering switching to a different pharmacy chain all together. read more

Scheduled a COVID booster shot because the Walgreens in 2986 Kirk Road, Aurora, IL did not refuse to provide COVID booster shot with their internal operation errors. That was a very negative experience. Please refer to my Yelp review on that. They turned me away after seeing my legal ID and capturing information they wanted before turning me away. I tried this Walgreens, and again they were skillful in getting my information before turning me away. The pharmacist, Cindy, showed up saying they did not take the appointment this late. I explained I made the reservation online and that's the only one available. Like the other Walgreens, I could not get my email confirmations. I was never sent to me. I showed her the appointment screenshot. She started wanting to enter my information in the system. She asked for my first COVID certificate, and quickly entering this information onto her computer. Then, she came back telling me that she has enter more detailed data to register me. I asked if it's sufficient to provide email and phone number. She said that should be enough, and I also explained to her that all have been provided when I scheduled the appointment online. She took my COVID vaccine card again, looked at my medical # and keyed into the system. Suddenly, her colleague, Nick, came over saying legal ID is required with name, phone number, and address. This was the added requirements. They added new requirements after obtaining more of my personal information such as my COVID vaccine info and medical record number from another healthcare provider. The third pharmacist, Robert, came over and listened to my reasons and thoughts behind my experiences with both Walgreens, mainly, no email confirmations, no detail descriptions of what's required when I show up at the check-in counter. This is the second experience with Walgreens in a day. The first location they got a bit of information, then turned me away. The second location got a bit more of my information, then suddenly added new requirements to turn me away. All felt sneaky. What I went through is not a standard. The entire situation felt very awkward and strange. The Walgreens I used to know were honest and upright. Today's experiences felt "off the tangent" nor they treated me as a valued customer, most like a trap they set up to get information from me, where there were others directing them what to say and act virtually using advanced technologies. I wish I could find out who are hidden behind the scenes doing all these and ask this person/these group of people to stop. This is unethical. This Walgreens is organized and clean. I am not a frequent customer of Walgreen. Given two negative experiences today, it's even more unlikely I will shop often in any Walgreens. read more

Friendly staff but TERRIBLE corporate customer service policy in the pharmacy. Call in a prescription; was told when it would be ready; go to Walgreens only to find out that 4 of the 5 meds needed are "not in stock". (1) Why couldn't they tell me that when the prescription was called in? (2) Why wouldn't they proactively tell me where the nearest Walgreens was that DID have it in stock and have it waiting for me? Answer: They do not keep track of available inventory by store in real time. Their inventory practices are 1980, not 2020. Time to get a new pharmacy. CVS or perhaps order online. I really dislike Walgreens a lot. I used to love them, so it makes me sad to write a bad review. This is indicative of most locations, so the store on Raymond and Ogden shouldn't feel singled out. First, would it kill these stores to hire a few more people? Like, 1 pharmacist, 2 Rx techs, a cashier, and a manager just don't cut it. I don't need to wander around for 15 minutes looking for someone who isn't knee-deep in a project to unlock the darn razor blades I need. Secondly, when I finally find you after 15 minutes, can you not act like I am annoying the hell out of you because YOU chose to lock the razor blades up. Really, the snarky attitudes are not appreciated. I don't doubt they come from the fact that the people are overworked or underpaid, or a combo of both. Not my problem. You guys are far from cheap (I'm paying for convenience) so don't act like I'm putting you out. Last, and this is just the icing on the cake.... the pharmacy itself. I am lucky enough to have good insurance through my company. I've also got 2 kids who get sick so I spend a fair amount of $ here. They need more people behind the counter. Hire someone at minimum wage just to check people out so that the techs can answer questions and the pharmacists don't seem so overworked. I'm going to continue to get my prescriptions refilled somewhere else until they can get their glaring service issues resolved. I'm sure this company makes plenty of money, hiring one or two extra minimum-wage employees to each store will go a long way. For that matter, I'm going to start buying my razor blades at Costco- they don't lock theirs up! read more

I used to love this pharmacy but in the past year or so, it's really gone down hill fast! I no longer receive msgs that my prescription is ready for pickup and the customer service at the pharmacy counter is just non-existent. I converted all my prescriptions to Mail Order/90 day supply but thought I'd give them one last shot on a random 30 day prescription. After waiting for 20 minutes in line with 6 people behind me and the line never moved, I walked out and am now going elsewhere. Just a bad experience. read more

I went to Walgreens with a mission: pick up some Bag Balm for my doggie's cracked paws. I walked in and perused some of the cosmetics. I say "some" because two employees were working on re-sets of a very large section of cosmetics, which made browsing difficult. I get that they have to do their job, but they didn't move aside so I could get through the aisle. They looked right through me and continued their chit-chat while busting open boxes. I thought it would be easy to find the Bag Balm. I very carefully skimmed the shelves of foot care, itchy skin care, and when at a loss I even looked near the condoms and diet pills. No Bag Balm. Defeated, I selected a heel balm from the foot care. Then, while walked toward the cashier, I took a shortcut through the face wash aisle and - alas - the other side of the aisle had lotion - Oil of Olay, Vaseline, and...BAG BALM! I was a little irritated having spent all that time looking, but at least they had the item I needed. The cashier was an older lady. She was a little cranky. Asked if I had a Walgreens card, I said no, but she didn't ask if I wanted one and seemed agitated when the customer in back of me said, "oh my gosh I thought my aunt was the only person who used Bag Balm!" I explained my planned use, and after noticing the grumpy face behind the register, I quickly exited. I don't know if my inability to find my item was human error on my part or a lack of better organization. I would think that regular lotion would be somewhere near the itchy skin and foot care items though. This is why I rarely go to Walgreens. I don't know where anything is, and when I THINK I can find something quickly, I would've been better off at Target. read more

Oh Walgreens. I'll keep coming back to you, no matter how far away I move. I've selfishly tried others that were closer to me, but they hurt me and had me driving around in circles...literally. I'll always come back to you though, and not just because you're always there for me (24/7). Today I had a customer service experience I'll sing to the heavens about. After taking my mother out to dinner, I figured I'd swing by my not-so-local-anymore pharmacy and pick up my medicine and, well, complications arose. A different Walgreens had messed up my insurance information. And you know what the angel behind the counter did? She took the time to look up my insurance information herself just so I wouldn't have to drive home and get it. Not only that, she found a way to get me a 90-day supply. Thank you, Tami. There is something to be said about any store that's open 24 hours... that said.... this one blows. Out of convenience, and convenience ONLY I have frequented this store. Nearly every time I have been here it's been far below sub-par customer service. My girlfriend is a bartender, so I am forced into odd hours that make my choices limited to cater to her changing and frequent "needs." Between rude customer service, service when it's actually there, and kids not old enough to actually "ring my cigs" which happened twice and cost me an extra 20+ min each time.... Very rude older woman cashier. She didn't hear what I said and yelled at me. Thought I was being rude when she was the one having a bad day. I was so taken by surprise the way she jumped on me and the terrible looks she was giving me. I will never go back to that Walgreens again. Left in tears from this woman. I like that this Walgreens is open 24hrs! And when I had a crutch emergency, and this Walgreens was out of petite adult crutches, they were nice enough to point me towards another pharmacy in Naperville that carries DME (durable medical equipment). It's also across the parking lot from an urgent care clinic and a physical therapy. read more

Pharmacy will tell you your prescription will be ready in an hour only to inform you they are out of stock once you arrive at the store. Even better they sent me to a different pharmacy who also didn't have my medication. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. I would rate 0 stars if I could. read more
