She went in to grab some detergent on sale, and as soon as we got to the register, the cashier--Mahendra, an older Indian man--called his manager over, claiming he needed approval for the purchase. He then said, "you people come in and buy all the detergent on sale to resell it." My sister immediately confronted him, asking, "Who is 'you people'?" He then claimed she wasn't buying the detergent for her home. How does he think he knows what someone's purchasing it for? She had 4 Tide, 4 Gain, and 4 fabric softeners because they were 4/$10--perfectly within the sale limits. When the manager arrived, even she seemed taken aback by his comments. She ended up ringing us up herself because she clearly didn't agree with what he said. If this hadn't been the third Walgreens we'd visited (since the others were sold out), we would've left everything right there. It's outrageous for our money to go to a store where we're treated like this. As soon as we left, my sister called corporate to file a complaint against Mahendra. This kind of racial profiling and disrespect cannot be tolerated.

I initially pulled up to the drive through and sat for approximately 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging I was there. I also pushed the call button 3-4 times to no avail. At one point Shumita walked over to the register at the drive-through, and walked away without acknowledging me. I eventually went inside to get my Rx and complain about the lack of courteousness/service. Instead of attempting any level of service recovery, Shumita continued to repeat that they were understaffed and mentioned that I could complain to CVS about it. She also stated that they'd been working all day without a break as if this made the poor service acceptable. Bottomline is that she missed the point. My frustration was about the lack of courteousness. Simply acknowledging that I was waiting and letting me know they would be with me as soon as possible would have sufficed. Shumita didn't seem to understand this, nor did she express any sentiment of accountability, offered no apology, and ended my transaction with "here ya go". This is a ripe opportunity for employee coaching.

Gates were closed, yet some lady was behind the counter. I gave the benefit of the doubt when i politely asked if and what time they would reopen, or if they were closed. the red signs on the wall in front of where i was standing (from the angle I was at) shows open from 8am-8pm most days. It was 12:40. I did NOT see the monitor to the left that shows they are closed from 12:30-1pm. honest mistake on my part, but to completely ignore someone genuinely asking a question... looking in my direction at me, and NOT respond at all, is beyond rude. some folks would slap this little girl for that, but Im not on that type of time. My point is, What if i someone was illiterate, and could not read? What if someone genuinely does not see a monitor that's positioned off from the direction of the pharmacy gate, such as myself? So i went to the front and politely asked the clerk if the pharmacist was deaf (to give zara some grace) The clerk at the front responds, "no", as i follow up with why I asked that to begin with. To my surprise, as I walk back towards the pharmacy to ask again, she's mouthing off about me asking if she was deaf to some counter part she's on the phone with... how are you so confident to be yapping like that behind a closed gate, like you wont open back up in 15 minutes? You dont know what kind of mood people may be in, or what they are willing to do because of your lack of acknowledgement and respect. I stepped out of my character...being self effacing, I did call her out her name for not being able to easily respond or even point in the direction of the sign (which again, i did not see until going back to the gate after asking the register lady if this zara chick is deaf. I can admit where Im wrong. I can own where I messed up, but this is the person thats in charge of dispensing medication to people?! ‍ who raised you?! yapping behind a closed gate like you're in high school. Parents definitely should've Beat you more as a child because your Bedside manner is beyond horrible. you should not be working with people and definitely should not be in charge of dispensing medications at that station on your own. Deprived is an understatement. this woman looks soulless!! And karma is a mf! it doesnt miss. It will spin the block for you weirdo. Other than that, shout out this CVS (except for this weirdo). They do a great job. It's just this heffer in back that is harming CVS's brand image.

So I have been to this Walgreens at least a hundred times since I moved here in February of this…read moreyear. It is walking distance from my home and it is open 24/7 which makes it extremely convenient for me to do some quick shopping. As my husband and I were headed out to go to school the other day and our garage wouldn't open. The battery in the pin pad was dead! Ok so we will just use our garage opener....nope. That was of course in our car, which was in the garage. I began having a mini heart attack because naturally I had an exam that day and now I was either going to miss it or be extremely late. Then we remembered Walgreens! We ran as fast as we could over there. A very nice employee pointed us to the exact battery we needed, and we were in and out within two minutes! Plus, I got a second back up battery for free thanks to my Walgreens Wellness card (which is completely free and easy to sign up for, I highly recommend it. You'll save big bucks)! So we got in our garage and all was well. We just took a trip over there tonight because we didn't gave any sweets in our house so we raided the Walgreens candy and frozen section. Single serve cheesecakes, Charleston chews, and skittles. Mmm! I also use their photo department every time I need pics developed. They are so easy to upload onto the website from home, so cheap to develop, and so quick to pick up. Although it says an hour, I can usually get them in under an hour. It's really great. The store is always really clean and neatly organized. They have a full staff available at all times and they are always polite and willing to help in any way. I've used the pharmacy once and they were also really great. I will continue to happily frequent this walgreens!

They organize my mom's extensive set of medications and make sure there aren't issues and provide monthly packets so we don't have to do the sorting with a jillion pill bottles. They'll call us to remind us about pickups and treat us like old friends when we come into the store. They run a business like those that you see in small towns in old movies. This week the pharmacy staff greatly helped me through switching insurance. The front check out can be slow at times, and some of the staff really push the walgreens card a little too much, but I know it's probably because they've been told to. Overall this is a clean store and a great addition to our community. I stop here at least once a week!

Additionally, I saw senior students purchasing birth control pills with the same lack of oversight. It's concerning to see how casually the staff handles such sensitive purchases, seemingly prioritizing sales over responsibility. This lack of discretion and professionalism raises serious ethical concerns about their practices.
