So I have been to this Walgreens at least a hundred times since I moved here in February of this year. It is walking distance from my home and it is open 24/7 which makes it extremely convenient for me to do some quick shopping. As my husband and I were headed out to go to school the other day and our garage wouldn't open. The battery in the pin pad was dead! Ok so we will just use our garage opener....nope. That was of course in our car, which was in the garage. I began having a mini heart attack because naturally I had an exam that day and now I was either going to miss it or be extremely late. Then we remembered Walgreens! We ran as fast as we could over there. A very nice employee pointed us to the exact battery we needed, and we were in and out within two minutes! Plus, I got a second back up battery for free thanks to my Walgreens Wellness card (which is completely free and easy to sign up for, I highly recommend it. You'll save big bucks)! So we got in our garage and all was well. We just took a trip over there tonight because we didn't gave any sweets in our house so we raided the Walgreens candy and frozen section. Single serve cheesecakes, Charleston chews, and skittles. Mmm! I also use their photo department every time I need pics developed. They are so easy to upload onto the website from home, so cheap to develop, and so quick to pick up. Although it says an hour, I can usually get them in under an hour. It's really great. The store is always really clean and neatly organized. They have a full staff available at all times and they are always polite and willing to help in any way. I've used the pharmacy once and they were also really great. I will continue to happily frequent this walgreens! read more

Pharmacy does not answer phone at this location. Said one person was ahead of me, on phone, yet, 30 mins later, no one answered. Called a different day, same result. Picked up prescription for 30 day supply. Got home and 20 were distributed. All other pharmacies give actual sealed manufacturer container. Not this location...to miscount by 10 is ridiculous, then no one answers phone to resolve. read more

I have been going to this Walgreens for 10 years. But never again. I am having my prescriptions transferred. I went to the drive through window on my motorcycle, as I had for the past several refills with no problem. After waiting in line behind several cars. (With my engine off to be polite) the pharmacist looked at me and said "I can't serve you because you are on a motorbike" I told her politely that I had been served on the bike before. She said "get off your bike and come in the store". No politeness in this Caribbean lady. And this is not the first time she has been rude either. She was rude before when I was in my car. I called the store manager who seemed to really not care, but did confirm that there is not a policy on motorcycles in the drive through to his knowledge. So I transfer all my prescriptions to Oswald's and will stop going to walgreens alto there. Local business. Always nice. Good service. This Walgreens location is rude and at best simply lacks consistency and training. They won't get any more of my money. read more

Don't ever use this pharmacy! I called 3 separate times being left on hold for over 30 minutes each time, finally I drove up there while still on hold to see 4 employees doing absolutely nothing behind the counter. Guess gossiping is more important than peoples medications needed to live. My prescription was said to be delayed then ready then delayed and kept giving me misinformation as to why I was calling to see what was actually up. No one behind the desk seemed to be able to tell me a status on my one prescription and the pharmacist was "busy assisting others" as if I didn't see her on her phone in the back. I am completely outraged by the lack of care and customer service by people whose job is to literally help you. I will never be using this pharmacy again. read more

This place really sucks!! Has to be absolutely the worst pharmacy out there. Had our share of lost or wrong prescription orders but the topper and final one was getting our flu and COVID shots there. Registered on-line and filled out the questionaire and got a conformation number. Showed up 20 minutes early for the appointment and sat there for over an hour, because the un-trained staff member managed to get our accounts locked because they timed out! We then received a text stating that our appointments had been canceled by the same staff member. Then we had the pleasure of yet another team member tell us they were waiting for approval from Medi-care to see if the shots were covered, not to worry we were not going to be charged for todays appointment and that they would call us to come in for the flu shots. That was 3 days ago, still waiting. Did a walk in at the Walgreens on Wherli and 75th street the next day and we were in and out in 20 minutes. Great people at this pharmacy. We'd rather drive an extra mile to do business there so all our scripts will now be transfered to this pharmacy. I don't know how this place is staying open. read more

Wish I could give the Pharmacy 0 stars! On multiple occasions this pharmacy has messed up my prescriptions. They acknowledge their mistake and tell you there is nothing they can do about it. The last straw for me is them shorting me on my insulin. I will now have to go for a month without my insulin and don't know how I am going to do this. Review is for the pharmacy, not the store. I understand wait times are long during the pandemic. I waited my time in line so speak w someone for 27 minutes. My doctor refilled my prescription at the wrong Walgreens. I was asking them to transfer my script from the one Walgreens to another. The response I received from the pharmacist after my wait was that I need to call the other Walgreens to transfer the script, even though I've been using this pharmacy for the past 9 months. Without getting a word in she then proceeded to tell me she has 100 prescriptions to fill and this was not priority. I will be transferring pharmacies to another provider after this experience. Every trip to the pharmacy here is a *nightmare*. My family member keeps filling them here out of inertia, and I keep going to get it, and every single time there is a problem. In the past ten years I have never once just asked for my prescription and received it. This time, even though we called ahead and were told everything was ready, it wasn't ready. It would be another hour before it was ready, because of the 134 prescriptions in line before us. The employee was obviously used to handling upset customers but offered no help, no solutions, no anything. Just, "Well, what are you going to do?" And what can I do? They have medicine I need. This regarding the pharmacy: Walgreens upper management/district manager should be ashamed to call this pharmacy a place they work for. They need at least double the staff. This is what happens every time I come here: People are standing in line exhausted. People slumped in their cars with the ignition turned off because they know it will take forever. I have been waiting on the line to have a prescription refilled, almost an hour . I have been cut off three times. Unfortunately, when dealing with the pharmacy and staff, this is typical. Most of the staff in the pharmacy are assistants and there seems to be a shortage of competent pharmacists. They often are unable to find prescriptions that have been ordered by my doctors which are in the files. I am often frustrated after trying to get help. There are always long lines at the pharmacy counter. Unfortunately this is the closest location to my home and the most convenient but I am now ready to switch over to Jewel or CVS and give them my business. read more

This store is just too convenient for me and being a 24 hr. store is a huge plus. This is my go to spot for milk. $1.99 for a half gallon of Dean's, is the best price around. Photo lab seems to be one of the better ones around too. Their app is a great way to print out your pics from your phone and they send an email to confirm they're ready. Not always the most pleasant people here but... "I see three" is something you here in this location as it is often busy. That means there's three people in line and they open another register to keep the masses moving. A lot of times the cosmetic register is idol and same with the photo register. Walgreen's is often a great spot to find a deal. You'll often see a coupon clipper who has a shopping cart full of deals and you don't want to be in line, with your two items, waiting for them to go through every one of their items and verify the pricing. A big hats off for their hassle free return policy. Their over night manager is somewhat of a tool and has a brother high up in the Walgreen's family, so just deal with it. I'll never forget the night I came in and he was asleep in a chair by the photo lab. I made a comment and he actually jumped down my throat. He didn't seem to have much of a sense of humor. Day time staff is usually very friendly and eager to help. Customer service is such a hit or miss these days. Does anyone remember the days when people actually enjoyed their job? Seems we've lost that forever. You don't want to bring a prescription in at this location, better to have it called in and ready. You'll generally receive a confirmation call, then hit the drive-thru. The inside can get crazy. The few times I've needed some advise they're eager to help. NEVER HAVE A PRESCRIPTION SENT HERE. I strongly advise you to choose ANY other location. My husband have been going to this pharmacy since we moved here a year and a half ago. Until then, I have always loved Walgreens. We have two little boys under 5 who get sick pretty regularly so we have now gotten many prescriptions from this location. The pharmacists are mean! I'm very polite and have trouble standing up for myself so when a female pharmacist tried to charge me $70 for my son's prescription that should have been $0.70 with our insurance, I was scared to speak up. She literally rolled her eyes at me. I was honestly just so shocked. I ended up having to pay the $70 and when my husband called right after I left, they magically figured out the error and told me to come back the next day with my sick kid for a refund. This happened two more times (and was not an issue for any of us except my eldest son's medication). I have gotten attitude from many others in the pharmacy department here. But the worst part is that every time we send a prescription there it takes all day for them to fill it. My 2 year old has Croup and his script was sent at 11:30 and they still don't have it ready and it's almost 5 o'clock. Guess how they treated me when I politely called to ask the status of my prescription (with my sick toddler hacking up a lung in the background)? The man said the prescriptions weren't ready and gruffly added that they were understaffed. No apology, no estimated time that it would be ready. I need that inhaler. It has been almost 5 and a half hours. Come on. This was not the first time this has happened but it will be the last time because we're done. Long story short: they are not friendly, you will wait a long time for your medication to be prepared and you can count on spending a lot of time in a line inside or outside of the store to pick it up. Hands down slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. If you remember the DMV scene from Zootopia, that's what it's like. There's 2 lanes for the drive thru, though I'm not sure how it makes anything faster being that they have only one slow-poke at the helm anyway. They are also often out of needed prescriptions so it's just a lot of waiting. Maybe they are understaffed? It's a shame this is my best option for a 24-hour pharmacy bc every time I come here it's absolute torture. This is the worst pharmacy ever. I was told that I ordered my daughter's prescription too early and could pick it up Saturday. I asked if I would need anything from the doctor because they are unreachable on the weekends. I got an automated call that her prescription was ready. My husband went to get it and they said he could pick up Monday instead. He told her that I was told Saturday and she said the provider would have to call them for them to give it any sooner. We are leaving for vacation and need to have enough of this medication for the duration of the trip, hence our need to refill it sooner. We have one remaining refill on this prescription as well. If the first person I spoke with would have told me Monday, I would have had the doctor call it in sooner, but she said Saturday and assured me it wouldn't be a problem. This isn't the first time the pharmacy has messed up. I'm over it and we will be switching pharmacies. read more

One of the workers named Val was following me and my son when we first walked inside the store. I was trying to buy some make up wit my son, when this rude employee came towards asking us, if she could help us but with a slight attitude. I told her,we were just looking around but instead of leaving us alone Val started following us around the store believing we were about to steal something. When I told my son to put something away she immediately ran after my son even though he was just putting something away for me. When we were about to check out at the counter, Val made a gesture with an employee about not to trust "these" people. This will be my last time visiting there, I usually go there often but since she is working there, I won't be going back there ever again. Thanks Val for ruining our experience. read more

Not only are the employees at this pharmacy slow (see other folks' reviews here), they are also inept. I dropped off a prescription on Wednesday along with a manufacturer's coupon for a zero cost trial (which was provided by my doctor). The counter person scanned in the coupon, but I asked anyway if I would need to bring the coupon back when picking up the prescription. He said no -- it was already in the system and that I was "all set". Returning the next day to pick up, I waited in line 35 minutes, only to find out that my copay was going to be over $160.00. Asking about the zero cost coupon, I was told by the counter person that it had been scanned incorrectly. Engaging the pharmacist took another 10 minutes, but even then there was no resolution. In an effort to cut my losses, I asked for my prescription so that I could do business with a real pharmacy instead of this dump, and that request took the pharmacist another 10 minutes. All in all, I spent close to an hour at the store, all for absolutely nothing. That does not include the 20 minutes I wasted dropping off the prescription the day before. Never again. I hope I'm never in a position where I am forced to do business with Walgreen's. At this point, that applies to any Walgreen's anywhere. There have been several other occasions where this store has screwed up, but nothing as bad as the most recent episode. The corporation's operational policies and oversight have to be called into question. Why are they allowing this store to stay open with the current staff? read more

After my over an hour and a half wait beyond my scheduled appointment time to get Covid tested, I received results which are inconclusive due to "incorrect handling of the sample." This was an absolute waste of time and money. They are inadequately staffed, and do not display proper signage for the long lines, leading to ridiculous wait times and poor service. I do not recommend this facility and I will not be doing any more shopping at this particular Walgreens. They should be investigated for billing for highly inconvenient services which were not ultimately delivered. read more

There was a customer giving everyone in the pharmacy attitude and taking illegal pictures and videos of everyone there because she was pissed they couldn't fill her son's prescription because I'm not sure what it was, but the doctor screwed up the prescription. The mean lady was trying to get other customers involved but rida stood up like a champ and professionally handled the situation well. No swearing involved, she just asked her if she had a problem, she must address it to them professionally. I wouldn't even dare to have the confidence like that. My prescriptions are always ready quick and through insurance each time! The staff is very nice and caring, if something is wrong with a drug, the pharmacist will let you know! read more

This is regarding the Walgreens Pharmacy at this particular branch & would've given this 0 stars if that option was available. One of the worst experiences we've had. I was in pain and needed medication ASAP, and went there around noon to pick up meds when my doctor sent the prescription electronically and it wasn't available yet, which was fine because it was around under an hour since it was sent here. But it ended up taking around 4pm or so to finally get the meds I needed after being in pain for so long. When we initially (my mom had to drive me since I was incapable of driving because of the severity of my stomach pain) went there to pick it up through the drive-thru, they processed the first 2 meds under the correct and current insurance I have, but the 3rd med wasnt ready cause of stone unknown issue. The 3rd med was the most important one that I needed at the time. So then, we went back home and I called about 2 hours later (since I still haven't received an automated call of it being ready), and the lady (whom I told that I was in pain and needed it) talked to the insurance rep and found out that the 3rd med was processed under my previous insurance that was there and will get it processed ASAP & I inquired when it will be ready and she told me in about 1/2 hr. Then I called about 1/2 hr later and it still wasn't ready . Then me and my mom went through the drive-thru yet again about an hour later and was told that it still wasn't ready, but the other 2 were. My mom semi went off on the tech and said I've been in pain for a long time and the tech then said we can either wait 15-20 minutes and come again when ready and then asked what we would like to do. We just went inside the store to get it without answering her because we were pissed. Then, when we got there, it ended up being ready (only a partial was available since they didnt have enough in stock at the time and would have to come back for the rest in a few days) and sitting inside the storage drawer. Here's another incident, about a few days later, when we went to get the remainder of the med, there are 2 lines - one is pick up and the other is express pick up - we stood in the pick up line for about a minute and one of the pharmacy people who was at the register , rudely said to not stand in that line and to go in the express line. Wtf? Don't be rude at all to any customers first of all and especially when confusion can happen when it comes to 2 pick up lines. We went to tell my sister all of this, and she said the one on Rickert Drive is way better and fast. Either way, I have changed any medication pick up to Walmart and never Walgreens Pharmacy. read more
