Don't ever ever ever buy gift cards from this Walgreens they're a theft. They stole my gift card money that it was purchased on Mother's Day for me for $150. They scan it and everything have a receipt. And credit card statement, and everything a month later I'm about to purchase some items and they're telling me the card is not valid zero balance How embarrassing that is. I've been trying to get a new gift card from there consumer customer service waited six weeks to get an answer from them just to tell me to go back to Macy's. And then fax them all the information again receipts pictures, and everything that I sent to Wallgreens consumer It's like a circle. They're all sending me to each other and nobody's helping me out. They stole my money. That's a theft. I end up losing my money for 150.00 that's money I will never purchase nothing from Wallgreens ever specially a gift cards. I ordered a print, and when I came to pick it up, they handed me an empty frame in a box. On my way out, I opened the box to check the quality and noticed there was no picture. I walked back to the associate and said where's the picture? He told the person working on it didn't finish, and he didn't realize. He asked her to come over and finish up, she said "we're occupied right now, can you come tomorrow." As I'm writing this review, there's no one in the store with the exception of me and the two associates. Very disappointed... If you can't fulfill an order, don't lure customers in with false advertisements; also, your team needs customer service training ASAP. I'm not including any names as it seems to be the culture of the store and one person shouldn't take the hit and everyone should be trained/retrained. she ended up printing the photo for me and the results came out crooked because she was in a hurry to get me out. more training is definitely needed at this location. read more

When you pull up at 7:06 at the pharmacy drive thru and they're closed for a meal break and reopen at 7:15 so you figure you'll sit in your car and wait but now it's 7:24 and no signs of opening. How bad do I need my prescriptions from Walgreens? They re-opened at 7:26 pm. I need to pull them out of here they don't even come close to adhering to time they post they should try and stagger their breaks so they never need to close the pharmacy I don't know any other business that closes for breaks twice a day. Needs to be a 24 hour store because that's how long you wait in line at the pharmacy. Make an 11 o'clock appointment for a flu shot and watch 3 people who showed up after you go in before you and if you're lucky you might be done by noon. Have a confirmation that your prescription is ready and want to go through the drive thru? Better make sure you have a full tank of gas in your car or you're going to run out of gas while waiting. Get a REFILL on medication you've been taking for months, wait in line at the drive thru, then wait longer to talk to the pharmacist on their speaker that sounds like it's underwater who's first question is "Have you taken this medication before?" then they proceed to tell you about all the side affects and possible issues through a speaker that sounds like it's still on the Titanic FOR A REFILL!! read more

I placed a 1 hour photo order this evening and the order was over 250 pictures so the pick up time was posted as 11:20 am tomorrow-not at all surprised I called the store and spoke to Kimberly, and explained I was putting photos together for my father in law's wake, told her I understood what a large order we had however anything they could do to improve the order time would be most appreciated even if it was an hour sooner. She was so kind on the phone and said she would pass the information on to the photo department...well- she sure did! Maria from photo and their manager (sorry didn't get the name) completed the order in less than 2 hours. Thank you to the entire Walgreens team !!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would this Walgreens is extremely rude! The pharmacy will repeatedly hang up on you. Not to mention they will tell you your prescriptions will be ready by a certain time then you go still in the line and just to find out they didn't even fill it. And they fill prescriptions that you've repeatedly told them you can't take yet they continually switch the prescriptions back to the old ones. And yet make them both as filled. read more

This location is the absolute worst I've ever been to. I recently moved so I had to change the pharmacy I go to. I don't know what the problem is but I have always had to wait at least 20 minutes for my prescription because of how terribly SLOW they are. Most of the time I'm waiting even longer than 20 minutes. You're better off going literally anywhere else. read more

I live close to this pharmacy and every time I get a text saying my prescription is ready I physically call them and ask when Laura is working. I have been going here for a few years now and have noticed every time this woman isn't working it's complete chaos and I have to wait forever. When she's there she always nice and everything goes smoothly. I thought she was a manager but I guess she's not but Walgreens is lucky to have her working for them. I have dealt with the manager of the pharmacy there and he was the most unpleasant person I've encountered in a long time. This is why I call every time to make sure she is there:) read more

I got an automated text from them with their address and when I clicked it it brought me to the wrong one. They need to add the city in their alerts. I finally get to the right one and the kid at the window says he can't update my insurance because I need my "rx card" from the insurance not just my insurance card. I was so flustered and tired that I just went home. When I got home I looked at my insurance card that I had given him and sure enough the rx info WAS on there. I drove all the way back the next day and got my prescriptions and as the girl was extending the bin with my credit card and prescriptions my credit card falls out and she walked away so I tried to open my car door, but the bin was still stuck out so I waited for her to come back and she didn't... Ended up having to reverse to get out and pick it up. This job is not hard and yet two separate people made my experience sh!t. Never going back. read more

Went here to fill a prescription and browse the aisle as it was filled. I chose this Walgreens because it is my neighborhood Walgreens and I want to support local business. I INTEND TO NEVER RETURN AFTER MY EXPERIENCE. I was at the end of an aisle, my two young boys down the aisle looking at toys. An associate by the name of KATE scolded my children. I clearly heard her tell them, "Boys if your going to touch things you better not mess them up, because if you do you better put them back exactly how you found them, don't leave it all trashed." She didn't expect to see me at the end of the aisle, I asked her was there something they did wrong or did they destroy anything, she replied "no". I remaindered her how it is not her place to scold or parent my children when they have done nothing wrong, I advised her to seek the parent if something was wrong in that instance. I told her I am watching my own children and they have not messed up her aisle. I informed her that I was going to file a complaint regarding this manner, and she did not seem to be bothered or offer any condolences or apologies. WARNING TO WALGREENS; If you intend to employ "customer service" personnel with this kind of attitude; pharmacies, cosmetics, and toiletries are a dime a dozen else where. Your employees set the precedence and relationship with customers of and the experiences grant business. I intend to let whom ever I know, know about my experience, I don't believe I will return even for the pharmacy (which are generally good). read more

Slowest.Camera.Counter.Service.Ever. Everywhere else in the store is fine, but oh Sweet Baby Jesus, the camera service moves like molasses WHEN they notice you. Their customer service there is horrible, too. One time, I had a waver from the photographer for my family pictures. I needed it back, and they REFUSED to give it back to me saying that they needed it on file. OK, then make a copy. They said their copier was broken. OK, really? In the whole establishment, you don't have a working copier? Riiiiiight. Eventually, they "found" a working copier (I am sure you did), and I finally got my pictures. That took 30 minutes. Ridic. So this time, I didn't want to go here, but the Walgreens closest to me weren't doing what I needed. So I had to go back to this location. I was left waiting at the desk for ten minutes--they paged the photo person a couple times, but nobody came. Finally someone was there...but not to help me. They helped the person standing at the photo kiosk instead and eventually got to me. 25-or-so-minutes later. Avoid printing your pics at this location if you can!! read more

I would just like to give kudos to Laura, the Pharmacy Clerk that works at this store. I had a major insurance blip with a prescription, that continued for the past 3 months. The day before I was leaving for a trip, there was a Pharmacist that was filling in and didn't really grasp my concern. Laura patiently took the time to listen, she clearly understood my frustration, she said that she would speak with the Pharmacy Manager the next day and my problem should be taken care of. Upon my return to back to the state, I was so pleased to learn that Laura had talked to the manager and my issue was resolved. This is exemplary Customer Service and was very much appreciated! I give this Walgreens a zero rating my girlfriend went to get a prescription fill today and the person at the window told her it would be over 2 hours to fill it so my girl just said let me have my prescription back and she will try another Walgreens that isn't so busy so she gave it back and 10 minutes later as she was driving to another Walgreens when she got pulled over by police and the pharmacy said it was a fraud prescription so after 15 minutes later after the police find out that the prescription was a real prescription they let her go so that was so embarrassing to use the drive thru and get pulled over by police do anyone want that to happen to you so I don't recommend that store. read more

WARNING! Never drop a FedEx Package off at this Walgreens Store in Streamwood, IL. Dropped a 2-Day Package off on Wednesday and as of Saturday the package is still there. Talked to the Manager on Thursday, Friday and again Saturday and each time was give the response " I will make sure its picked up tomorrow" WRONG! They even tried to blame FedEx saying it wasn't in a proper box. Called FedEx, they said if that was the case; they note it in the tracking. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Bought OTC medicine, got it home and noticed it was expired just before taking it. Returned it the next day and manager didn't seem concerned about a 7 month expired item. She was not engaging at all. This is the second time I've bought an item from here and it was expired. Watch the dates people.... read more

I came in to the store and felt like the cashier, Tim, was being interrupted from flirting with another customer as I have to return items. Then he gets a manager named john e, and he had said outloud , great, this was purchased from another store.
