The 2 baristas working were very friendly, greeted me right away and made the drinks quickly. I got the biscoff iced latte, which is something I've had many times at other places. I really like that theirs isn't overly sweet, it doesn't have a ton of whip or cookie crumbles or syrup coating the sides which is what I prefer. The ube latte is sweeter but also not overly sweet like other places do. We ordered 16 oz but were given 20 oz cups, the barista said they were out of smaller cups. I think because of this they actually added more milk too, because the coffee taste was very light. I wish there was less milk or more espresso. Prices were high, $17 for 2 drinks is steep for the burbs. I'd come back, but I'd probably get an extra shot or ask for less milk.

I love the options for seating inside or out and the iced coffee drinks here are sweet and smooth. Quite nostalgic!! We got the Oreo bingsoo, and they were incredibly generous with the Oreo pieces. The sweetest was definitely a nice complement to the ice, which didn't have flavor. Our big group's order was ready super quick, which is a nice bonus!

Review on the Tiramisu cake ONLY -…read more Come to TLJ for the pastries is my recommendation - tiramisu is definitely not their specialty and they have their own take on it that is no-rum, no ladyfingers, but rich cocoa powder, so if you're more into a milder, less sweet take on tiramisu, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would go elsewhere for a more traditional one. It's also priced a bit above what I would consider its quality - the flour-based part of the cake was quite dry and didn't seem that fresh. But it comes with candles for a birthday! Otherwise, the service was great and interior is good for studying if you can in louder spaces. Parking available.

I ordered my husband a cardamom latte and butter chicken empanada to go and he said he liked it--the butter chicken empanada was a huge hit and the cardamom wasn't too strong, but the latte had a fragrance to it...and I think it's because of the heavy air diffusers they have inside the cafe.
