Ordered medicine I was told would be delivered within a couple hours…read more Next day 2pm and still no delivery. Since I had a doctors appointment nearby, I decided to go and pick them up myself. The pharmacy tech gave me attitude because they're ready to be picked up by a courier! I said "Yes. That was the plan but NO ONE has delivered them! They were supposed to be delivered last night. Can I just pick them up myself now?" She was upset she had to cancel the delivery order. Made me feel like it was MY FAULT that they didn't deliver it?!? What is going on? How about you deliver things when you say they will be delivered and I won't have to go do their job? Everyone there is ALWAYS MAD AND GRUMPY! Does anyone know how to smile anymore? Very disappointed that their service continues to be so bad. May have to switch to another pharmacy.

It has become a dangerous place to depend on for your health and medical prescriptions. No surprise that the Walgreens stock has plummeted and is one of the worst performing stocks in this country. We have supported our local businesses for decades, but I think we would all be better off if it disappeared. With the exception of a few, very few, this is a collection of unhappy, rude and ignorant people, and I'm referring mainly to the pharmacy and some of the people, including the management in the main store. Sorry to leave such a bad review, but I think it's important for people considering going to Walgreens in general. I have left very few negative reviews in my life and it pains me, but the level of service and rudeness is unacceptable. There have been so many instances that I've lost count. If I could've left no stars on the review I would have.

Unless something incredibly horrific were to happen like the RedBox machine exploding before my eyes, what is there really to say? I should probably also clarify that I am almost never on any prescriptions, so I have never used their actual pharmacy itself. I work with several pill poppers, and at the office I hear them bickering in the break room about pharmacies the same way catty women would about shoes. Since I am not involved in that whole lifestyle, I do not have much to add about the level of service for Wallgreen's in that regard. I typically stop in for odd's and ends types of purchases when I am too lazy to want to drive to one of the bigger places as this location is extremely close to my apartment. What others have said about it being in an inconvenient location is right on the money. The corner of Golf and Barrington is a zoo at times, which makes it a frustrating voyage if you go during peak times. Their is a stop light for both entering and leaving the location at least, which is a big plus for this area. One of the most annoying aspects of driving in the Schaumburg/Hoffman area is the amount of businesses that do not have direct access to them from the opposite side of the street. This basically forces you to have to drive to a stop light and do a U-Turn. Lame! So this place is actually a cut above average when viewed from that perspective. This location is also open 24 hours, which comes in handy when you are a night owl like me and have a sudden urge for a Hot Pocket.

The TB test went well -- all the ladies that helped me were patient and friendly. When I came back earlier today for the TB reading (I don't have TB -- which I already knew... yay?), I realized the physical portion wasn't filled out. People at a different location had told me earlier in the week that I didn't need the full physical as there was only one question that needed to be answered. The woman I met today told me I needed the full physical and had to pay the fee for it (something like $70). Although my physical was less than a year ago, my new job needs one within the past 90 days... which sucks. I explained to the woman that I already had a physical earlier this year and was bummed that I'd need to pay again for another physical.Since I needed it for work, I told her to "go ahead and just do the full physical anyway." If I had to pay, I had to pay. She took my papers, went in the back, and came out with the papers signed. She looked up my records and just used the information from the last physical since it was less than a year old. All I needed on paper was documentation within the past 90 days. It was a clever loophole. There was no need for a newer, pricey physical. I was shocked but incredibly pleased and grateful. Now that's customer service!
