I called Vince one morning around 7am because I noticed that the duct work underneath a vent in my kitchen had fallen out. Being a first time homeowner I panicked, but Vince reassured me that it's fixable and to just call back after the holidays. A contractor came out in January and noticed that another vent was affected too. Vince called me the next day to give me a quote, and I scheduled them to come out yesterday. The contractor was in and out in less than an hour and a half (even though they had to fill my vents with concrete to seal them up-something not every HVAC company will do), and Vince even called me today to check up on things. Just the facts: My previous Carrier Certified service provider's tech said my furnace seemed noisy. I paid $600 for a new blower installed. It didn't help. The tech suggested to install a new motor at $1,800. Considering it's a 13yr old furnace, I decided to look for a new furnace. My air conditioner compressor fan was not turning. I researched on line and came across this company and could not believe all the five star reviews. The owner came out the this morning and fixed the issue in about 15 minutes. We spoke for some time about the business and I quickly became very comfortable with what he said and how he runs the business. I came home from work about a month ago (in the middle of the 100 degree heat wave!) and walked into a very warm house and realized there was a problem with my air conditioner. Two guys from Bartlett Heating & Air Conditioning came in to check the air and install a Nest thermostat in a home that I just moved into. They were friendly, very professional, and very nice guys. For comparison, I did get a quote from another HVAC company in the area and they were kind of rude. I asked this other company how much they would charge for installation of a Nest and they said the don't like installing Nests and don't normally do them so if I really wanted it then they were going to charge $130 more than what Bartlett Heating & Air would charge. After talking to my realtor and lawyer about the Nest charge, they said that HVAC company (not going to mention their name, but the first letter starts with an R and ends with an O) is trying to rip me off or maybe over pricing me because they don't know hot to install Nests and are old fashioned where they aren't current with smart technology? Bartlett Heating & Air not only charged me way less than that other company for the AC check and Nest installation, but they installed the Nest within a couple minutes like it was second nature to them. They explained all the features and told me how to use it. They even gave me a free filter for the furnace since I didn't have a new one handy. I used a few HVAC companies over the years and Bartlett Heating & Air is the best with quality, value, and their expertise. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a good HVAC in the Streamwood/Bartlett area and will continue to hire them to take care of my new home's HVAC! read more

I called Bartlett Heating and Air Conditioning and they had a technician out to my house within an hour. They were very professional, honest and fixed my unit same day. I have to say is their customer service is top notch, when the technician left my unit was working perfectly, since my unit was about 10 years old it had some sort of relay/delay mechanism which turned off my AC unit cause room temperature air to only come out. Definitely not their fault. I called back and their dispatcher said we can be their first thing 7 am. 5 minutes later the owner calls me and asks me if I can explain the situation and he's at my door 30 minutes later, fixes the unit and goes over what the situation was. There was no extra charge and the cost wasn't an arm and a leg for the full service. This type of customer service is rare these days! I highly recommend this company and they have my future business from my friends and family! This is the type of company you can trust. I believe that it's family owned as well. read more

I didn't get a return call from Bartlett Heating and Air. Instead I received a call from their subcontractor who wanted $135 to come out to the house to look at the water heater. This is higher than the highest average for the repair work. He said if they discovered the problem was simple fix it would be $79 but . . . I needed to be prepared to pay at least $135 for him to come to the house. Subcontractor? Higher than average cost just to come to my home? No, thank you. read more

The first time I called Bartlett Heating and Air was due to our A/C going out. Vince was able to come out to assess what was wrong only to find out that the freon needed to be recharged. Two years later, our A/C completely failed and Vince came out again. Unfortunately, the unit had to be replaced. We hired Barlett Heating and Cooling for a general check up and furnace cleaning. Not only were they very professional and did a great job. They showed us items in the furnace that we had never noticed before nor had the other HVAC companies that had cleaned the furnace. For instance the humidifier pipe was pitched incorrectly causing water to sit stagnant in the pipe causing build up of debris. They took care of this for us! and also replaced the water line that had a slight tear in it. Service was great and timely. Technician knew what he was doing. Had some issues with pricing but that got resolved very quickly. I appreciated the personal phone call from the Owner, Vince. He acknowledged that a mistake was made in the pricing and did more than was necessary to make it right. I'm moving out of his regular service area, but will be contacting him for future calls.
