This was our first time visiting bartaco and everything we ordered was delicious! We arrived midday, and it was not very busy, and the manager Irving was very helpful. He suggested a few menu items to us, which helped us decide, and the service was great. The online menu was very helpful, and included pictures which was perfect for us being that it was our first time visiting. We ordered plantains, duck birria, fish tacos, the pork tacos, chicken tacos and street corn. There was nothing that we didn't like! The duck birria is a must order! The sauce served with the plantains was fire, and i ordered the nojito and wow! It was delicious. The fish taco was perfectly cooked. It was my favorite. The restaurant was also very beautiful. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely mind blowing you will never look at tacos the same way after trying these. The duck taco and the steak taco were filled with flavor and were extremely juicy. The poke bowl, the street corn, and the chips and guacamole were all great appetizers which I would totally recommend. All the tacos were small sized so you can try a bunch of their unique flavors without stuffing yourself. But of course you can't leave without trying the churros they are magical with a bit too sweet chocolate sauce as use and another really sweet sauce!!! read more

Margaritas are yummy and sweet plantains with a creamy garlic sauce go well with black beans. I usually recommend the cauliflower and mushroom tacos but my kids swear on the birria. Fresh fish tacos are a great choice too. Order plenty, they are small but satisfying. For hot days order a Gazpacho, refreshing and invigorating tomato based soup mixed with cucumbers and other fresh veggies. The servers are friendly and always there to help. The food and service was great and the people were very friendly. I ordered the Ahi tuna rice bowl which was delicious. Their fish tacos are also worth reordering! The only glitchy thing was the ordering process. You had to scan a qr code to see the menu. It worked ok except I left the tab open. Yummy yummy yummy. Came with a Party of 6 and wait time was about 35 minutes. While waiting we played some Jenga. We ordered margaritas which were delicious and well balanced. The tacos were absolutely delicious. Baja fish 8/10, Glazed Pork Belly 9.5/10, Sesame Ribeye 7/10, Slow Roasted Pork 10/10, Falafel 8/10, Large Guacamole 10/10. The chicken bowl was good but my friend ordered at the same time as me and waited 30minutes for hers. She also ordered the chicken soup (which tasted like a bad chicken noodle soup can) and she ordered the duck that tasted like pork. Most of the staff seem a bit socially awkward and do not really do well communicated. Seemed very disorganized and because of the paperless ordering there wasn't really a service other than the food being cooked. Drinks are made of fresh squeezed (as in: in front of you) citrus, but can be a little time consuming to get, and the HH drinks I've had were pretty small (lot of ice). We ate at Bartaco three times within 2 days! It was downstairs from our hotel. It has a super casual and inviting atmosphere. They have a lovely outdoor space with comfy seating and plenty of plants. The tacos are delicious. The prices are great. We had the guacamole and salsa trio. We tried the roasted duck, pork belly, chicken chorizo, and pork carnitas tacos. Bartaco gives an amazing experience and atmosphere... and food! The service is amazing and when you need anything you simply put up a card and someone comes to help you almost immediately. My boyfriend and I ordered almost every taco (literally) and started out with the trio appetizer. The guacamole here is Absolutely delicious! THE ONLY REASON WHY I'M GIVING A 5 STAR IS THE OUTSTANDING CAREGIVING BY THE MANAGER NICK. My family Yelped a taco place near the area, and Bartaco came up. Based on the reviews and the menu, we decided to try. At first, we entered the restaurant; there wasn't a host available, so we had to look around, hoping to make eye contact with someone to be seated. Once seated, we asked the manager to hand us menus since we couldn't access the barcodes. However, after he gave the menus, we weren't followed up for a while. We asked another employee that seemed to be another manager dressed in black attire with Hispanic features to please take our order. He seemed bothered at our request. He didn't mind asking if we wanted any drinks, didn't make an effort to explain how menus worked. The guy seemed that he didn't want to work that day. Anyways, he took our order, and we waited for the longest. We are already a bit irritated that we didn't have an assigned sever; it was frustrating we kept asking different people for our status of the order. We expressed our frustration to the one who took our order, and his approach was off! He didn't make it a priority to make us feel better or to better the situation. Thankfully, Nick was around, listened to the problem, and turned our negative experience around. He was helpful, offered us drinks, apologized for the inconvenience, empathized with us, and made sure we left the restaurant happy! Everything that he brought to us tasted delicious. Was in Aventura with a friend and we were both craving tacos, so I naturally came to the Yelp Elite community to see what was a great spot. Found this gem! Located near Aventura Mall and the Gulf Stream Casino. To start we ordered the guacamole, roja, verde and chips. Warning: the roja is spicy. However, they're all delicious and compliment the chips nicely. Next we ordered à la carte, four 4 inch soft tacos. The portobello, roasted duck, chicken chorizo, and two of the carne asada. For two people this was more than enough to try. We also ordered a side plantains that came with a delicious garlic aioli dipping sauce. As a light healthy sweet dessert we opted with fresh pineapple wedges. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We sat outside on the patio and the setting was perfect.
