I love BT! I've tried all of the tacos but my fave are always the pork belly tacos. Delicious! The apps are also good. Love the corn off the cob and the guac as well. I also always get some sweet plantains. So good! Don't do just 1 or 2 tacos, get a few. They are small, so get a bunch. Haha! You can't go wrong with any of them. Indulge. What a fantastic evening for us all! Since our first visit to Bartaco to our latest visit last evening, it's clear that they made efforts to improve our food and service experience quite dramatically! We had decided to take their offer of another try and are we glad we did! From our arrival to our satisfied departure, what a wonderful meal we enjoyed! With our hosts, Arie and Kat leading the way, our reintroduction to their signature tacos and drinks was an adventure in culinary tastes. We enjoyed an array of mouth watering dishes, all presented nicely as well portioned. Our highlights (and a few average too!) for our evening were as follows: Beginning with their newly created cocktail, 'Lime in the coconut'.......which was fresh, nicely balanced and delectably tasty! Tacos: - duck taco, sweet tangy duck breast, was seasoned perfectly and nicely portioned. One of my favorites!! - pork belly, the star of the evening!! Rich flavor of smokiness, juicy and flavorful! - mushroom, wow! All that flavor in a mushroom! Wonderful! - battered shrimp, large portion of crunchy and nicely seasoned tastiness from the sea! - oyster, surprised by this wonderful briny mouthful of pleasure! Nice! - tuna, heavenly seasoned, fresh and clean! - beef ribeye, a bit salty but not bad at all! - falafel, still needs a bit of improvement, a little on the dry side and a bit bland. Definitely not one of our favorites. - fish, a bit small portion but still worthwhile and delicious! Not tacos: - salad, a delicious large portioned salad of fresh and crispy greens with bits of tortilla, cheese in a delicious and perfectly balanced dressing! Very nice and good alongside our tacos! - cucumbers, one of our favorites! Crunchy and tangy sliced cucs! A must try! - corn, as on our previous visit, one word, Delicious!! - salsa & tortilla chips (maybe chipotle peppers) nice heat, smoky and flavorful! - guacamole and tortilla chips, although our feelings on this item vary, I'll say it was tasty (though lacking tomatoes and a bit salty due to the tortilla chips) and would pair nicely with all the normal drinks (beer, margaritas, mojitos, etc.) - tres leches, decadent and tasty, hits all the right notes for a delicious dessert, the 3 S's of sweet, savory and satisfying Needless to say, though so praiseworthy, we were so thrilled and happy that we tried Bartaco once again! From the wonderful hospitality and service.......to the tasty drinks and delicious food, we will definitely be back for more! Yesssss! Bartaco did not disappoint! Hubby And I visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. I love the fact that the restaurant is so efficient, order and pay on-line. We started with margaritas, salsa and tortillas. Then proceeded to order a variety of tacos...ribeye, shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, and fish. They were all delicious. My favorite was the fish. Hubby's favorite was the ribeye. The staff was friendly, the space was super cool, and parking was validated. I would absolutely return! read more

I've been to this restaurant 3 times. It's consistent, it's fun, it's convenient with its techs ordering system and has delicious tacos. This Mexican Asian fusion eat has earned a soft spot in my heart, with a large variety of tacos for both meat and non meat eaters this is a safe bet for those who need a variety of choice! My favorite tacos include the pork and chicken and of course the steak! And as far as the drink their mint tea mix is extremely refreshing. I was in town for a conference this week and I tried this place for the first time since it was adjacent to my hotel. Bartaco was simply amazing in all respects. The staff was very friendly and the owner went out of his way to come over, introduce himself and multiple times inquired about my experience and the quality of the food. The tacos alone were 5/5 stars, but the service was 7/5 stars (if that were possible to rate) and far exceeded any expectations I had. This location sets the bar pretty high for other restaurants to compete with. Their happy habanero sauce was probably the best hot sauce I've ever used in tacos. Bar taco is now my favorite taco spot! The food has always been consistent as well as their customer service. They validate garage parking which is a great perk. Bartaco has been a long time favorite of mine. I especially love how they create a "secret menu" with a new taco flavor every season. I LOVE the cucumber salad, elote, and maduros as a side starter. You honestly couldn't go wrong with any of their taco flavors they even have a lettuce wraps for those trying to cut down on carbs . They have decent margaritas but I really enjoy their other cocktails way more ... which they also continue to switch up always leaving you with a new palate to try! They even have micheladas off their menu, and if you're not too full after everything the tres leche is freshly made in house and always worth a taste! read more

Except for their online ordering system, this place is great. The duck birrria are amazing. Today, I ordered the gazpacho because there was no Pozole. It was refreshing and perfectly seasoned. The magarita is perfect...not too sweet. They offer one of the best patios. It's on the West side of the street, so it's always shady. The ceviche is authentic. It's actually marinated in lime juice as opposed to cooked. However, they serve it with this gigantic serving spoon, which makes no sense. Compared to Mexican Ceviche, it needs a touch of salt, but otherwise, it is dead on. Perfect!! Even the tostada chips are not oversulted. they're thin and crispy with lots of corn flavor. I wanted to try something new and this place was a total hit with the family. So that said, it is kid friendly! The ambiance was everything, such a vibe. Everyone was extra helpful. The food was delish, and I'm so happy we came here thru other yelp reviews and pics! We had a couple of different things, including the guac/roja/verde (highly recommended!!) the street corn, we also had the spiced chicken verde, sesame ribeye, and my girls had cheese quesadillas with a side of just steak! Have to say, the Mojo Pork Carnitas were (chefs kiss) delicious. I ordered the kit so I could pick up and make at home, and was simple enough. My main problems were: 1) the tortillas were puny (3 inches wide, I got 4), 2) barely any onions or cilantro, and 3) felt like I got far less than I should have for $16. It was delicious! And driving by to pick up my order, the place looked amazing and poppin, but I feel like it was slightly overpriced/portions small. read more

I returned to this place for indoor dining experience for Cinco de Mayo with friends (6 of us). Parking in the garage was nice & you get it validated! We sat outside the patio. They told us we scan the bar code , order the food & drinks individually-pay with phone We continued to order more tacos & drinks individually but one person ended up with the total bill. We asked the wait staff to get a print out of the receipt but restaurant could not provide the receipt. I think it's a nice idea ordering individually with phone, but then with one bar code the total bill can get mixed up. *Another con, we tipped 20% but waitstaff only brings the food & drinks. We order on our own We might as well pick up the food ourselves too.... Bartaco in Aventura, FL, is a one-minute stroll from the AC Hotel. We made the walk on a midwinter evening the day prior to the Super Bowl. While I do not prefer outdoor dining, this was the place to make an exception. Clear and 75 degrees, it was a perfect evening. The food was quite good, running to tapas-sized portions and small shareable appetizers. Every bite was tasty, though it all lacked heat until we layered on the hot sauce. In truth, allowing us to tailor the amount of kick was a good idea, as we are all Minnesotans used to bland hot dish as a rule. Bartaco uses a paperless ordering system, so any of us could order food and drinks from a mobile app and the charge appeared on one consolidated check. This may explain why we had so many rounds of tasty cocktails - it was so convenient. With a party of seven, a 20% tip was added by default, and we tacked on a bit more in appreciation of the stellar service we received. As chain restaurants go, Bartaco is a great experience. read more

Very disappointed in this meal. Best things here are the drinks, by far. We ordered pork belly tacos, mushroom and shrimp. The pork belly were ok- but not worth returning for. The rice bowl was ever more disappointing- serving brown rice topped with shrimp and way too many onions. This bowl has no flavor at all. I will not be back- NOTHING like the DC locations. OK to be honest the food was pretty lack luster here. I'm from Connecticut and we had a few BarTaco locations back home and the quality there was much better. Hubs and I ordered the oyster taco, sesame ribeye taco, mushroom taco & pistachio cauliflower taco. Also ordered a guac The guac is BOMB. Honestly their guac is unmatched in my opinion and I would say is solely responsible for the three stars. The most noteworthy taco was the mushroom, it was yummy and flavorful but the rest were pretty bland and unmemorable. The service was excellent. The staff was really accommodating, they let us take our food to go after we suddenly had to leave. The vibe is very cute and costal and casual. I'd say it's an ideal place to grab a drink with some guac, play some jenga while waiting on a table at one of the many surrounding restaurants. read more

I have been dying to try this place for so long!! I was a little confused last September bc I thought they were open and showed up and it was closed due to COVID. Finally, I was able to have a girls night on Taco Tuesday. The ambiance is really awesome- we sat outside and it was just lovely. The only crappy thing was that the street lights are super bright, so if you are sitting outside facing them, it can be obnoxious. Tables we spaced adequately apart and there were dividers inside. Ordering wasn't my most favorite part but I understand that it's best not to have menus in these items. You use the QR Code on the table & order basically like you would online. It was a bit frustrating bc it's not a totally instinctual process- you out your card in but don't check out. And if there's another person at the table, it's not clear how that works out either -I was paying for us so it worked out well. The tacos are pretty good as well as the guacamole. The only thing I didn't care for was the chips - they are tostadas that you just break off. I personally prefer traditional chips but my friend loved it so it's personal preference. The classic margarita was really good & strong as well. Overall, great ambiance, good food & drinks. Will be back! read more

This is my favorite place for margaritas hands down!!! The staff is amazing especially James, Sabrina, and Johnathan they have great service. The food is yummy, the sauces are delicious, and the desserts are a nice ending to your experience. I wouldn't recommend a better place to go to!! Cute spot but food is average and their "futuristic" System needs to Be worked out. There are no servers at the restaurant just runners which is actually smart because people now a days order everything via apps and do most of the work. THE PROBLEM- they charge you automatic 18% gratuity and 50% of our items came out incorrect. For example I ordered a kids chicken taco no cheese, they brought a chicken quesadilla. Ordered Baja fish taco no onions they brought it naked with no sauce not even the tortilla. It was sad. It's a nice spot for a drink and small bites as the food is not shareable sizes. With that, be prepared to have the order messed up and then you have to use your firefly card to flag someone down for 5-10 min too get it fixed.overall, I'd pass but they do have a nice coloring book for the kiddos. read more

We had a really fun and enjoyable dinner here. The service was fantastic - the staff were a happy crew, from the hostess to the bar to the waiters. Thats so rare nowadays. To make the evening that much more memorable, George (the manager) was an exceptional host. He has all of the qualities of a great manager, understands what customer service means, and made things fun. Oh, the food was excellent- don't skip the pork belly tacos (amazing). They use high quality ingredients which shows. Order the guacamole off the kids menu if you don't like spicy, as the regular guacamole comes with a kick. If you like "heat," the table sauces can also kick it up a notch. We preferred the patio over the indoor seating (their air conditioner works too well).
