I was so excited to learn that I moved near a Barro's! I love their small pizzas and they are super helpful when wanting to customize it. I just drive up, call and tell them I'm here, and pick up the pizza. The only con is the pickup parking only has three spots which can be an issue when it's busy. read more

Not the best pizza place. The pizza was poorly constructed. It was way too heavy on the cheese. It started falling apart when I tried to eat it . The service was OK I guess not necessarily the polite or nicest but not dismissive either. The ambience of the restaurant is nothing terrible. It's very clean. There's good lighting overall this is an average pizza place. The pizza I had was good enough, but not terrible and certainly not the best. But it is however cheap and convenient and close by. That doesn't mean I suggest you come here to grab a pizza. My suggestion is to go find a place in town. It's far better. read more

The first and last time I will ever order from them! I was so looking forward to my sausage, mushroom and onion pizza only to be disappointed. Lacked flavor. Adding crushed red pepper flakes couldn't save it! Unfortunately I had to throw away the leftover half pizza. It was going to be a second meal... read more

I've been to many barros locations and this one by far was the worst. Ordered the Kona pizza and it was so soupy on top and the dough seemed very undercooked. Good thing I don't live close to this location or else I wouldn't be able to give barros my business anymore. I don't know what they did to this pizza but it was a sloppy mess. read more

Food is decent but the booths if you're eating in some of the seats are broken and have been for a while and the table always wobbles. Fix the seating and it would be better. read more

Okay, I know it's a pizza spot, but can we talk about the antipasto salad for a sec?? It's stacked crisp lettuce, big cuts of salami, pepperoni, olives, cheese, peppers... like every bite is loaded. No sad little side salad energy here this is a full-on meal. And that house dressing? Fire. Zesty, tangy, addictive. I'd drink it if it wasn't frowned upon lol. Perfect balance to a cheesy slice or wings on the side. Honestly I crave this salad more than the pizza sometimes (and their pizza slaps too). I always order to go and honestly I've never been inside lol . read more

Bad service they totally forgot got my order of hot wings... never try to make it up at all.

New to the area, but love Barro's Pizza! First time at this location and it was a little chaotic and and super busy time. There was a slight miscommunication with my order, but the team and especially the manager, Violet, really went above and beyond to make it right. It's so rare these days to have customer service really mean anything so I truly appreciate how much Violet went above and beyond to make things right for me. My pizza is delicious and piping hot! read more

3/14/26- 315pm-$60 Pizza pick up order ( no specials, no coupons), requested 2 -1.5oz cups of ranch and they wanted to charge me .82 each for them!! In what world? I guess this one! . I picked this pizza joint out of all of them to give my business to and left feeling like they were trying to hose me for all they could. Well they just got scratched off my list for pizza( and we order 2wice weekly) over $1.64. Where is the customer service going people? A dollar and sixty four cents? I had it but I have just patronized for sixty bucks with a tip for a pick up!!! Damn y'all are wrong for that one! Never again! read more

Ordered several pizzas and wings for my son's birthday party. We called about 45 minutes prior to the pick-up time to see if we could change the wing flavor. If not, that wouldn't have been an issue as we were simply calling to see if there was enough time to do so. Here is where the issues start: the person that we spoke to stated they have no phone number that starts with my first two digits. Sort of weird as I'm looking at my order confirmation. So, we offer to give her the order number as she said that will suffice. We give her that and we are told the order number does not pull anything. Additionally, we are told their order numbers don't contain any letters. Clearly that's not the case - see attached photo. We obviously clarified that we were speaking with the correct location... just to be sure. This is where I get frustrated as I now have to leave my son's birthday party to come up to the location and possibly replace an order that by all accounts is lost. I get here and sure enough, they can all of sudden find my order. Again, I was forced to leave my kids birthday party and now I am sitting here waiting for the food as there is no point in me leaving and having someone come back up here in 30 minutes. Not a great experience at all and highly disappointed. We'll definitely consider one of the other named locations next time. read more

Why do I need to I always get a pepperoni pizza with wing that is extra crispy the best

The meat lover's pizza here is truly indulgent. Loaded with sausage, bacon, and pepperoni, every bite was packed with flavor. The cheese was gooey and golden, and the crust held up perfectly under all the toppings. read more

First let me say that i was waiting to pick up my pizza and the gentleman infront of me finished his credit card transaction but forgot to hit finish/complete and the cashier went and ADDED HER TIP with out him knowing and she finished his transaction, i am calling up there tomorrow and letting the manager know what she did, when i picked up my pizza it was cold and she gave me an attitude like it was my fault, if you give your customer a time frame to pick up pizza go ask the workers in the back and not estimate by your time, she was awful about the whole situation and went and grabbed her manager, he was nice enough to remake the pizza while she was still giving me attitude on what she said, sweetheart im not deaf you told me 20-25 minutes and SHE SAID 10-15, anyways when the manager said it would be done in 10 minutes she literally stood there and said no its 20-25 mins, if i see her working i will not go in there and neither will my friends nor family because of the crappy customer service she had given. Just beware when you use your credit cards and i will for sure call to let them know what she did. read more

The pizza special is still reasonable at $4.50 for a slice and a drink. This particular slice was a chicken slice which had onions and peppers and cheddar cheese. It was a good slice. I don't agree with not having napkins on each table and on this day, nearly every table was dirty and not cleared off. read more

We love Barros Pizza. We live in Northern AZ and stop almost every time we are heading back home. I placed and paid for my order online expecting a quick pickup, but there is no separate pickup area. I still had to wait in a long line behind customers ordering to dine in--about 20 people deep. The whole point of placing and paying online is to save time. Most businesses that offer online ordering have a designated pickup area for this exact reason. Having a separate pickup line would greatly improve the customer experience and efficiency, especially when people ordering for some in also need a salad made. It is frustrating and I recommend making the adjustment to accommodate your online paid for orders. read more

Tried Barro's for the first time last night, did a pick up order. It was ready quickly and correctly, but it wasn't great. It reminded us of Pizza Hut pizza, super greasy, but a little rubbery not crispy. There are better pizzas out there. read more

We arrived at the restaurant around 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon. The Place was pretty dead. The Cashier was pleasant and took our order. After getting our food my wife started eating her lunch and needed napkins. She went to get napkins however the napkin holder is empty. She approached a tall brunette and let her know that they were out and she acknowledged but did nothing. She finished taking a customers order and then proceeded to go make a salad. My wife still has food on her hand from her sandwich and sat down. She approached the worker again and she asked what she wanted. She said again "a napkin". The worker went to the back room, came back and tossed a handful of napkins to her. Not sure if this is a bad day for this individual or if this is why this restaurant that serves good food is empty? This will be the last time we eat here. read more

Went after church on Sunday for the first time going to Barro's since I was a child. Even with the busy after service rush, Layla was very patient , kind and helpful as well the pizza and salad were fresh and delicious. I decided to go a back a few days later a few minutes after four which is when the shop stops selling slices and Layla was there again and went out her way and checked the back where there we two single slices left which saved us money , so I was appreciative of her kindness once again! Thank you for your kindness and cleanness Barros Dove valley ! read more

I looked on the Barros website and called to order pizza & 6 wings this afternoon. The young man that answered was extremely rude and said we don't sell 6 wings. I said well your website says you do. I said fine I'll get 12 wings but want to split the sauce. He said we don't do that only with 24 wings. He continued to argue with me so I asked for the manager. Chris picked up and said the same. He was rude too! If it is not offered change your website! If I was the owner or manager I would say my apologies we will accommodate you this time. My business is going elsewhere! Zero Stars for this location! Streets of NY is much better! If you're looking for pizza/wings go to Streets!!!!! read more

The staff here are very poorly trained (front and back of house). I've ordered here multiple times and there is always a different issue. I've been to many other locations in Phoenix and have never experienced such poor service and badly made pizza. Online orders are often forgotten by the kitchen staff. You place an order and arrive half an hour later to see that it was never made. read more

If you haven't tried the white pizza yet, you don't know what you are missing. We order it with chicken and well done. It is delicious. The spices they add to the mix is great. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is I really like the crust extra crispy, it needs a few extra minutes. read more

Ordered for to go. Pick up was easy! Ask for their specials! They got good deals. I love sausage & my sister likes pepperoni so we got an xl half sausage & half pepperoni. It was good. We got 24 traditional wings as well. Their wings are good. It was nice and clean inside. If you sign up for their emails, they send out some deals and coupons as well. read more

Well, I can definitely see why they only have three stars because if there's a problem, they'll just stick you on hold and give you the manager that doesn't even care about fixing anything. We went to Google and found the Barros order for pick up link and ordered pizza. We specified the ingredients on the pizza and sent in. We got an alert it was ready about 20 mins before which I guess is ok. But when we got there they said we had no order. After supplying screenshots they finally located telling us it was door dash. We for sure didn't order through DoorDash - I have an account and was never prompted to log in or told. Come to find out the store enable door dash store front and their employees just don't know what the heck is going on. Then the manager gets on and swears we clicked a button for a certain pizza but really how are you going to say that when you can't even locate our order and can't help us because it was through door dash ‍ All of this could've easily been remedied by him saying no problem will take care of it. We'll have a new pizza for you. Just come grab it in 20 minutes. Now we won't ever order from them again. It's sad these restaurants can't train their managers appropriately anymore. read more

This is the most painful review. Barro's has pretty much been family since I moved to the Valley. But I hate the deliveries now go through Door Dash. I have ordered two orders through DoorDash at this Barro's in the last week. Both times in the last week, they sent Pepsi and not Diet Pepsi. A few years ago when I ordered directly through them, they omitted an order of breadsticks and charged me and when I called they wouldn't refund me. Talked to Ashley today about it and she was apologetic and dismissive. Done ordering from here. They re subpar with all of it. read more

This barros was great for my wife and I a few years ago. I've been sick from this location multiple times. It's been almost a year since we have eaten here so we ordered some food last night. Within hours I was feeling nauseous and about two in the morning I work up extremely sick. Vomiting and diarrhea. And still am feeling incredibly sick and can't stay out of the bathroom. I'm assume it was the wings because my wife didn't have any of those and she has been fine. Will never eat here again. And I'd advise anyone and everyone to avoid this place or at least just avoid their mediocre wings that will just make you sick anyways. Something needs to be done about this place read more

Underprepared. Wrong timelines. Train your front end staff, communication is important. Y'all a joke.

Ordered my favorite pizza, the hot wing pizza. which i know for an absolute fact that it comes with a ranch and they wouldn't give it to me. they told me that it hasn't been like that for 3 years which i know isn't true. i called other locations and they all told me that pizza does in fact come with ranch. the person at the registered argued with my husband and all we got from the manager was "i don't think so" before they walked away. the disrespect is insane. if you claim to have worked somewhere for 3 years, you should probably know how the place actually runs. we will not be returning. read more

I grew up with Barro's in SoCal, so I figured I could have a decent meal there. I ordered a simple sandwich mid-afternoon on a Sunday, so the place was virtually empty, and was told "that will be ready in 15-20 minutes". Wow, 15-20 minutes to make a sandwich? Had I known, I would have gone somewhere else. Well, 15-20 minutes went by, people came and went with their orders, but still no sandwich, so I asked when it would be ready. "What sandwich?" I was asked as they searched orders on the computer. "The one I paid for 20 minutes ago", I said, "do you want to see my receipt?". Then they lied to me: "oh, it's in the oven and will be out in just a minute". A few minutes later I saw a guy in the back put my sandwich in the oven and another five minutes later, I finally had my mediocre sandwich. The sandwich was so-so with four slices of processed ham and eight small slices of salami and a little lettuce and tomato on a 12 inch roll, but was relatively cheap (less than $7 for a 12 inch sub and a bag o' chips) and filled the void in my gut or they would have received my lowest score. Forgetting my order was bad enough, but letting me leave without some sort of compensation (free slice, coupon, etc.) and a heartfelt apology was unforgivable. We picked up a pizza on July 3rd. Same thing we have ordered o. The past and usually decent. This one was sad. The crust was so soggy I was scooping it. They are close and it is convenient so hoping just a sad one off. Update. Thank you Barros for making this right! We will be back! read more
