    Cheese pizza (mini)
    Diele K.

When visiting my friend, they wanted to order pizza since it was a pool day. They had only ordered pepperoni pizza, so when they went to pick up I had to order a cheese pizza (mini) on the fly. It was quick to prepare with friendly service. Plenty of indoor seating that was comfortable while we waited, and loved the quality of the pizza as sometimes mini pizzas don't taste as good as their full-sized counterpart. Definitely consider dining in or taking out when in the area.

Finally got our pizza.. the didn't know what table # it went too.

For a chain, Barro's is pretty decent. They have great salads & great wings. We like this location better than the Glendale location we used to use. They seem to get more business at this one & appears to be much cleaner.

One slice and a drink is now $5.18. The cheese slice was not greasy and the sauce seemed a bit sweet in a good way. The Pepsi zero sugar was broken, but got a diet Pepsi instead. Lots of blue class workers eat a cheap lunch here.

Door dash is destroying your business and turning away loyal customers. Both my husband and I have been eating Barros for at least 20 years. That fact you cannot order a side of hot wing sauce on door dash is ridiculous. Or ask for well done pizza or extra crispy wings. Why can I order it over the phone and pick it up, but cannot modify through door dash? These are reasonable requests that should be available if you're forcing people to use door dash. The customer service isn't even lacking, it's non existent. Whoever your "managers" are, like Tyler, should never ever work in customer service. All you get is a monotone and annoyed voice, and no effort to remedy situations. They like to blame every mistake on door dash and there is zero accountability. Also this isn't a review simply bashing door dash as I order take out with many businesses through there with no issues. This is a "Barro's, you are epically failing" review.

UPDATE: I received 2 emails apologizing for my dissatisfaction. Have received any other communication? No. Barros is not going to do a thing for me. I hope if you patronize the Beardsley location you are treated with respect. Obviously I wasn't. We didn't want to venture out tonight so we ordered pizza and wings. I placed my order online for pick up since they no longer offer delivery to my home (1/2 mile away) except through D Dash or similar. I arrived about 5 minutes before the time my order was promised. There is ample seating for small or larger group. There are 3 registers and the line moved quickly. My pizza's weren't brought out front yet, but she quickly retrieved them from the back. She then searched around for my wings that were sitting on the counter. I was very surprised they weren't in the warmer to retain the heat. No one wants to have cold food. I lifted the lid and realized they had been sitting on the counter for a bit. They were not even warm. I refused the wings asking for fresh ones. Assumably, the manager was at the next register assisting. I say this because he had on a polo shirt rather than the tshirt the rest of the employees were wearing. He was there during the entire interaction about cold wings. The employee waiting on me said she would have them remade for me. We sat down waiting for the new wings to cook. It was another 10 minutes waiting. She did put our pizzas in the warmer. I was happy we weren't going to go in circles over the pizza being cold too. When our wings were ready the manager was at the next register. He did not apologize or even acknowledge the fact that they tried to serve me cold food. Most cooks know how to time multiple dishes so they aren't under a lamp or on a counter waiting for the rest of the order to be cooked. It actually gets better. The pictures show what my pizza looked like. The meat lovers was sliced in many different sizes. The small pizza had the lightest layer of sauce like it was a special order light, and also the cheese stuck to the box because it sat in the warmer. I fed it to my dogs. If you want fresh pizza from here, dine in, order and wait for it, and ask for sauce. I need a new pizza joint. Any recommendations in the North Valley because no more Barro's for me.

I stopped by for some carbs and a quick cheap lunch. They have great pizza selections and daily specials. I waited about 10 minutes for a freashly baked sausage pizza. I had their Friday special BBQ chicken. It was lukewarm and on the salty side. Thumbs down! If you have to wait for another slice have them pull the pizza from the warmer when both slices are ready to be placed in the box. Im just not a fan of lukewarm pizza. The freshly baked slice was perfect!

Finally found a place that's affordable for lunch. A slice of pie, salad and drink for under $10. The food was delicious and the service was great. #DukeOfEats

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, creativity, food, and service. I'll absolutely be making this a regular stop anytime I'm in Phoenix.

The setting does a lot of the work: a large, charming garden with plenty of outdoor seating that gives the whole place a cozy, almost village feel. Inside, there's a small bar that's tough to get into, but it's really your only option if you're walking in without a reservation and don't want to wait an hour or more. The kitchen is usually the highlight. With an Italian chef behind it, everything leans fresh and well executed--pizzas consistently shine, and the salads are just as strong. This time, though, the bolognese was a miss. The pasta was clearly overcooked, which stood out given how reliable the food typically is--felt more like an off night than the norm. The wine-by-the-glass list is solid and approachable, and the many awards feel well deserved overall. A diverse staff adds to the cosmopolitan yet relaxed atmosphere. Even with the misstep, Cibo holds its place as one of the better all-around dining experiences downtown.

There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....
