absolutely amazing customer service, and would highly recommend Genuine Auto Glass over any other…read moreglass replacement facility in the PNW! First off, after 3 tries with my insurance (progressive) and them forcing me to use Shitlite (I mean Safelite) to get the correct windshiled for my Volvo XC90, I lost my cool, as every time i showed up, they had the wrong glass. 4 months later, i bite the bullet our of frusturation and call Volvo directly as I was willing to pay the $2800 out of pocket at the dealer instead of dealing with Progressive. The dealer then tells me they use this local family business called Genuine Auto Glass. So i give them a call, tell them my awful experience with Progressive/Safelife and they say, no problem, we got you covered. They ordered the correct factory glass replacement directly from volvo (not the aftermarket BS that progressive tries to force you to buy) and even transferred over the claim from progressive to themseleves without me having to do any middle man work. Progressive told me i would have to pay the difference with original glass and the total would be $1600, but fine....at least i have OEM glass. so 3 weeks later i get a call from Genuine saying the glass is in, so i set up an appointment, drop off the car, and within 4 hours the car is done, recalibrated, and functioning properly! best part.....I walk in to pay my $1600 and the lady goes, its only $1000. I am like HOW?? thats my deductible, and I have to pay the diff. She goes "nope, we convinced progressive to cover the cost and its just your deductible" DUDE..... you just saved me $600 during the pandemic. thank you!!! you have not idea how much that meant. lessons learned. 1) support the small local shops, they are better and just treat their customers better, and your money stays local. 2) progressive's partnership with safelite is a total SCAM. they are purposely dicking customers an extra $600 to get some extra profits out of you. and 3) I saved a bunch of money by letting the local guy work their magic. F progressive and keep up the good work Genuine.

This place is absolutely amazing and super fast. I came about 30 min earlier than my appt and they…read morestill allowed me to drop my car off and said they would get started on it right away. Noon rolls around (dropped off at 940) and they call me to tell me my car is done and they were able to recalibrate my sensors for my Toyota Corolla '18. I have a lifetime of rock chip repair which I think is amazing and so helpful. Definitely recommend this place. Awesome customer service and staff. Everyone is so friendly and kind.

Never had any type of issue involving the glass on my car until a rock hit my windshield while…read moredriving on the freeway in a heavy rainstorm. Initially the crack was so tiny that I hadn't noticed it, but unfortunately they tend to grow over time and it expanded to a 15" long crack on my passenger side. My insurance, Geico, suggested Safelite and stated that they could possibly repair the crack instead of replacing the entire windshield. They can also send a technician out to your home to do so, but I knew the entire thing needed to be replaced, so I scheduled an appointment at their Tacoma location. Made the appointment for 10:00am, but I was a bit worried because I arrived at 10:10am. The two employees (one female possibly named Rose and one male with blonde hair) joked about it but said I could still get my windshield fixed. To my surprise they had already ordered the replacement part, and said it would take an hour to and hour and a half since there were a few people ahead of me. Service ended up being completed around 12pm. **Service Cost(s): $$$ ($350+) **Quality: So far the replacement windshield looks great and is holding up. It's not the exact model from the car company, but it works and that's what counts. They can get the OEM replacements, but it'll cost you a lot more. **Location: It's in South Tacoma near multiple other auto repair shops and some dealerships. The parking area is small, as is the waiting area, but it at least is possible for you to wait there while your car is being repaired. I opted to walk around the area to the Starbucks-- which is a good 10 minute walk up the street. They also have a mini coffee and water station in the building. **Service: Rose, the woman at the front desk was professional and personable. The technician who worked on my car and the other male employee at the front with blonde hair were the same. After dealing with a few deceptive auto repair shops, this was a much better experience.

The blemish is almost 2" long and the other is about half an inch long. It looks like iy could just spread. The worst chip repair we've ever had!! It isn't helping the value of the car at all. Never have another repair done there.

This was a frustrating experience from start to finish…read more I had my windshield replaced at the Safelite location in Fife, and I ended up having to bring my vehicle back twice to fix issues that should've been handled the first time. The first return was to reconnect my washer fluid lines and secure the cowl, which had been left loose. Then I had to go back again because there were exposed wires around the rearview mirror that hadn't been properly put back. Mistakes happen, I get that. But the biggest issue for me was communication. No one answers the phone at this location. I tried calling multiple times within an hour and every single time it either rang busy or went nowhere with no option to leave a message. I couldn't get ahold of the actual shop that worked on my vehicle. Instead, I had to go through the automated 800 number, sit on hold, and explain everything just to get rescheduled, twice. That's just not acceptable. If you're working on someone's vehicle, there should be a direct way to reach the shop if something goes wrong. Having to jump through hoops just to get basic issues fixed feels unprofessional. Between the quality of the initial work and the lack of communication, this experience was not a good one. Update 5.7.26 Shout out to Safelite for their disingenuous reply back that is no more than a coo out and a lack of taking accountability for the poor customer service.

Not only that, he asked if he could come in and use the bathroom, which I did not think would be a problem. He took an absolute sloppy paint job mud pie but no big deal, right? Well, it is a big deal now because the repair failed and they are refusing to fix it. All they are offering is to pay my insurance company back for the cost of repair and then I have to pay my insurance company deductible to have them replace the whole thing! They screwed up the repair and are refusing to make it right. I will not let this go.
