It was easy and quick to get an appointment. Charlie was on time and was very helpful. Highly recommended.

I sent them Pictures of my cracked windsheild and insurance card. The insurance card had the VIN number for my car. They responded by asking for my VIN number. I responded that it was in the attached pictures of my cracked windsheild and insurance card. Never heard back so I went with another windsheild replacement company. I'm not sure why they never responded. I don't know what rating to give so I picked the middle. read more

Someone broke my car window in Seattle. So I called many places trying to get if fixed ASAP because I'm gonna be super busy in the following days, but I can't get anyone to fix it soon. So I called them and explained my situation and they helped me. The guy showed up and he was very friendly and even vacuumed the broken glass at the end. I highly recommend them. They have good customer service and good prices too. read more

Quick response. Quick installation. They showed up and changed my windshield on the spot. Haven't had any problems with the window and it's been over a year now. read more

My car had gotten broken into the first when I moved to Tacoma this summer for work and my friends were visiting for 4th of July. It happened Thursday night and I found out Friday night. Most other places were closed during the weekend (and it was 4th of July weekend) so I was hoping any place would be able to fix it that same morning. Luckily, Microchip responded at 8:40am in the morning and they came to my car within 30 minutes of calling. And after that, they said it'd take about 45 min to fix the window, but finished it in about 30 min and charged a VERY good price! Very happy with the quick service and with the work they did! read more

This business is giving a good service. Next day service. Easy walked through with insurance. Two workers came out to replace the windshield at our home, which took about 30 minutes. All experience was painless. Highly recommend their service to anyone. I called around with no answers or many days out to replace the windshield. Thank you for the painless experience. read more

My sunroof just exploded while driving. I called several companies for quotes. Most places did not do sunroof glass replacement. One quote was over $1,100. Microchip Auto Glass offered two options. A new option or USED parts with installation for $367. What a bargain and they even came to my place of work to do the work. I'm extremely happy with my service. They were quick with response and communication. I will be recommending them to everyone. Thanks again for the awesome job !! read more

A huge shout out of thanks to Eugene and Jim for my new windshield. After receiving quotes from a few local companies I went with Microchip Auto Glass and couldn't be happier. Excellent price, service, quality, friendliness and professionalism. They also provide a lifetime warranty for as long as I own the vehicle. It doesn't get any better then this. Ugh! I knew I shouldn't have left a backpack in plain sight. Came back from dinner on the Seattle pier and found my window shattered to pieces. The quotes I received for other businesses were too high and many of them require you to come to their shop for replacement. I did a Google search and came across Dover's windshield replacement which is backed by Microchip. I called and spoke to the owner Eugene and got the lowest quote. I called dozens of places and he beat their prices. On top of that, he was even going to come to me to repair for no extra cost. Eugene was very professional setting up the appointment. He called to let me know he was running late and parked right next to me in downtown Seattle to repair my door. He even offered to vacuum the glass in my car, but couldn't since he couldn't hook up to an outlet. The job took less than an hour and my window was back to new. SO happy that I found Eugene. Don't waste your time calling a bunch of places and go with Eugene. Fast, affordable and professional. Recommending to everyone I know. read more

These guys are amazing! First off, getting a quote was easy as pie through yelp. Eugene, the owner, replied in a timely manner and was able to send someone out to fix my back heated window the next day. Second, they charged me about $100 less than every other place AND they're mobile! Jim was a nice guy and really took his time getting as much glass out of my car as he could. The process was quick and easy. Thanks again! read more

Took a couple reschedules but it was perfect! They came to my home and replaced it in a half hour! Most shops will have you leave your car overnight and I just wasn't comfortable with that plus I needed to get to work. They made it very convenient to be able to come to my house on a Saturday. They accept cash or card and if you are paying by card you have to authorize it over the phone. I will keep them in mind for any future repairs and refer them to friends! read more

These guys are great! Not only was the quote for my car window half of what Safelite wanted to charge, but they came to my house and got me on the schedule for the same day. Eugene and Jim were both so nice and professional, and they come at a great price. Can't recommend them enough! read more

I called Eugene to replace a car window. He scheduled me w/ in 2 days. Jim came to my office and replaced the passenger side window of my car. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Above and beyond...that is a rarity nowadays. Jim arrived at my place of residence within a couple of hours after securing my appointment for a same day service to have my windshield replaced. Not only did he completed his job in a timely fashion, he also fixed my rain sensor, tightened my rear view mirror, and even primered a pillar on my vehicle from rust (which was by the way, not in any way related to the windshield replacement) as a complimentary service. I most certainly appreciated it! The windshield itself was a perfect fit and the workmanship provided by Jim was superb! After 3 weeks of local and highway driving, dealing with the rain and snow, I was extremely satisfied that everything went smooth and flawless, no leaks or air seeping in whatsoever-and my rain sensor finally worked! Thanks again MicroChip and Jim for the reliable service and for a job well done. I will be sure to pass the word of your quality work to my peers. read more

Thank you Microchip for your excellent service! You guys were by far the cheapest and not only that but your customer service is superb. Like another reviewer mentioned, it's a rarity nowadays to find an honest, knowledgeable & friendly company. Jim drove out to my apt complex and replaced my windshield in no time. Thanks once again microchip. Will definitely keep you guys in mind from now on. read more

Their service was fantastic! They gave me a much better price than the place my insurance recommended, they bring the service to you so you don't have to go anywhere, and they even managed to put transfer my TNC decal for Uber and my Good to Go pass onto my new windshield. Definitely recommend them and if I ever need work done on my windshield again, they will be who I will go to. read more

I would definitely use them again if I have to (but hopefully I won't ever have to)! We called to get an appointment and someone was able to come out in 2 days. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. Eugene called the morning of to let me know he was on his way and to expect him in 20 minutes. I waited and he came when he said he would. When he came, he disclosed that my crack may or may not be able to be repaired due to its size (it has doubled in size from the initial crack), but that he will try his best. I, then, asked for a quote on a new windshield if it couldn't be fixed. The price he gave me was so much lower than Safelite. Anyway, luckily for me, he was able to patch up the crack. The job took twice as long to do due to no sun. While he worked, I was upstairs in my apartment. He called to let me know it was done. I came down and wow! You wouldn't even know I had a crack bigger than my hand. He answered all of my questions and assured me that it wouldn't compromise the integrity of the glass. I signed off the form, paid, and off he went. Thank you guys! read more

I was driving on I-5 about a week ago when something crashed through my glass sunroof! Scary! I put a call into Safelite, and also jumped on Yelp and found Microchip, along with a couple of other possibilities. Microchip came through quickly with an excellent bid, and came out today (12/18/2019) and fixed my sunroof in about 40 minutes. They were just great - I had a 2 pm appt., and Jim called about 1:40 pm to let me know he was on the way. I have a 2008 BMW 328i and she is whole again, and I most definitely recommend Microchip! (Bonus - while working in the car they found an earring I'd lost a couple of weeks before!). They worked on my car at my home at Redondo Beach. read more

Awesome company! Great customer service! My car was broken into at the airport and I needed a window for my three hour drive home. I had to spend the night in town because everyone was closed. Awesome experience. I called their number, they gave me an estimate that beat out three other companies I called. I even found a coupon online for them reducing the cost by $10. They gave me a ball park time they'd be by and were here a little earlier. The guy cleaned up all the glass and replaced the window. He was very personable and polite. They give a 3% discount for cash, just FYI. The day started off really crappy and ended pretty well thanks to Microchip Auto Glass. read more

My car was broken into on a Thursday. My insurance set me up with Safelite, their price was $350. I called Microchip and they were $100 cheaper! My right rear window was broken completely while parked on the street. Apparently my car was old enough that many window repair services didn't want to fix it. Possibly it had to do with the model. However they were able to fix it (with their mobile service) within days (which was a week sooner than I'd have needed to wait if I'd gone with another company). I appreciate their service. read more

So, when you get a rock chip at 7pm on a Saturday evening, you can almost count on not being able to take care of it the rest of the weekend. Having just replaced my windshield a couple months ago, I was super anxious to get this fixed. I spent a good hour Sunday morning searching for a place that could perform a simple windshield repair when I found Microchip. I called and Eugene told me that they were setting up a pop-up shop across from IKEA in Renton. He gave me the number of the rep working there and I was on my way. The representative working was named Wenz. He was prompt, courteous, and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Within 10-15 minutes he was finished and I paid a minimal fee. Thanks Eugene and Wenz for putting my worries at ease on a day no one else would return my call! read more

I have never felt so compelled to put a yelp review really until now !! This place is amazing ! I couldn't believe how polite professional and fast everything was !! I will be recommending everyoneeeee to them!! read more

I was so pleased with Microchip's services! My RAV4 was broken into on a Saturday night and I called them on Sunday morning. It was during business hours so I was surprised at having to leave a voicemail and figured I'd called a tiny local shop; I did not anticipate a return call. They called back about an hour later and the woman was very friendly and down to earth. She explained to me that the glass providers were not open Sundays for the particular window I needed but they could come out the next day. In coordinating times, she guaranteed they could finish the job by 2pm so the vehicle would be fixed in time to pick up my kids from school. She answered all my questions and offered really helpful advice! She sounded genuinely empathetic that my vehicle had been broken into and wished me a better day before she very concisely recapped our conversation-my vehicle and contact info, the plan, and appointment and cost details. I mean she was friendly AND efficient! My insurance has a business partnership with Safelite but I'm glad I shopped around because Microchip was almost 30% less with no ambiguous costs like the competitor's "small disposal fee". read more

Oh no! Passenger side window in our car got completely shattered, and being Seattle it's pretty likely to get rained on! Did a few Google searches, don't even know how I found this place but their prices were half of the competitors and the guy on the phone was super friendly. They worked with me to schedule soon (same day!) and they came out, fixed it and wrapped up in record time. The install tech (Eugene, I think it was?) was very polite, did the job in the dark (!) super fast and even vacuumed up after himself. Very awesome service. Superb! After reading the amazing reviews, I gave these folks a call to replace our older Outback's cracked windshield. I left a message and within TEN MINUTES I received a text with a quote. The quote was about $80 cheaper than EVERY OTHER AUTO GLASS place I have been quoted! We scheduled, via text, for two days later and he came out to the husband's work place and replaced everything professionally and efficiently. He even did a better seal on the windshield than previously existed. The glass is high quality and looks fantastic! He was so awesome we tipped (hey, we were saving money already!). We will absolutely use this service from Microchip Auto Glass in the future. Thank you! read more
